  1. Watched Tenet, it was a confusing mess. 10/10, will rewatch until I understand what's happening.
  2. Needed something simple and went for Zero's Familiar. This reads like a machine translation half the time but it's more than tolerable.
  3. If there was a world made of chocolate, I would be about to move there and die a swift and blissful death. Then I would realize if I stay here and take care of myself I could eat even more chocolate with the extra time. That's how much I like it. TPBM likes going out on rainy days.
  4. @Nathrangking He is. Be sure to give the classic a try at some point. Slower stories, but longer. Definitely. Too many games to buy this year though. Wonder what I'll have to push back. TPBM has a to be played list as long as their to be read one.
  5. Yes! 19 seasons an counting. Ninja'd. I'm afraid not. TPBM can hold their breath for a minute.
  6. Considering what people say about it. Yes, quite. TPBM considers The Emperor's Soul is not talked about enough.
  7. Sadly I'm not. TPBM wants a dinosaur.
  8. Decided to watch everything Fast and Furious for some reason. Years ago I watched up to the fourth one because to my understanding that was the last one focused on racing and lost interest without that. Recently I got a little curious though so I'll give it a try. Tonight I watched the third one and I gotta say the last race was pretty storming intense. It was really well choreographed, specially after the first two ended with a chase rather than a race.
  9. Granted. You have diabetes. I wish for XD to come back.
  10. Not at the moment. A dog and a cat. TPBM has an hyperactive dog.
  11. Finished WandaVision. That was, surprisingly big. Like ok, I did expect something big but I'm talking about the number of revelations. This much information would've taken like 5 years and 10 movies at the pace things were going pre-Endgame. It's a lot to take in. It was also funny, tragic, terrifying, and epic, sometimes all of those during the same episode, so my head is a mess right now.
  12. Playing Alien: Isolation for the first time. During stealth sections I can play for about 20 minutes before I need a break. Loving how scared this has me. It's also probably the most fanservice I've seen in a game. Everything here seems ripped straight out of the original movie. The ship, the soundtrack, even that grainy filter you expect to see in remastered movies. It's amazing.
  13. Just starting to be. It's almost time for dinner. TPBM has no idea how to breathe.
  14. The NW has Cultivation on her side, so she can estimate one. Though she probably did have trouble with this one.
  15. Granted. The Nightwatcher's perception of time is quite different from yours though. She moves the release date a month or so back as she thinks any more would basically release it right now. I wish for a nice bowl of ramen.
  16. I just finished Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. That was actually pretty dark as far as RE stories go. It even feels strange after they upped the campiness with Vendetta. I enjoyed it a lot. It's nice to see one of those stories that are usually only background in the series take the spotlight.
  17. Granted. Whenever you think "Hey, that'd make a great book", one appears. It's beautiful. The paper has the nicest texture, the ink looks as though it was left there by a feather quill, even though by the font you can tell it's printed, and it's excellently bound with your preferred material. However the edition is atrocious. The story is good, it has everything you wanted there. You love the characters. You hate loving and love hating the villains. But it has so much filler, there are typos, not enough to be obvious at first glance, but enough to bother you as you read. Some characters do nothing the whole book, others do too much. Some themes have a complete lack of subtlety and others you can't even see, despite the characters alluding to them. It's as if someone with a brilliant imagination and storytelling potential but with the writing ability of Patrick Star wrote it. I wish for perfect grades.
  18. Been watching Jujutsu Kaisen on and off (everything I'm watching has been on and off because I'm an irresponsible student and I'm paying the consequences but that ends tomorrow thankfully), and the action is almost too good. I always thought Ufotable was the king at fight scenes but now I'm really split. Knowing now what they're capable of makes me really excited about SnK Season 4, which I haven't gotten around to yet.
  19. I just built and programed a game controller.

I played Hollow Knight with it for a bit.

That's all. I'm just too excited not to talk about it somewhere.

Can't leave it at that, what does it look like? How did you build it? :D

Oh, right. It looks like this.

The thing in the middle is basically used to make prototypes and you can do almost whatever you want if you know how to.

It was a college project where the teacher just told us "Buy one of these, here's the manual. You have until the end of the semester to build a thing".

Probably the most freedom I've had with a school project.

  20. The amount of people using this same analogy can be grating but it's true: Starting ToCS from 3 would be pretty similar to starting Mistborn from HoA.
  21. I was thinking about how CS2 will handle villains.
  22. Well, that's just before they stopped making them, so at least regarding numbers, you didn't miss much.
  23. Granted. You get food. So much food. Your house is food. Your family is food. Is this even real or did your mind start seeing objects and people as food? Impossible to know but at least you won't starve. I wish for an infinite peanut bag.
  24. I recently watched the original Godzilla from 1954. It was a ride, I had heard it was a response to the bombs, but I didn't really know to what degree. It was really good. On that note, I also watched Godzilla vs Space Godzilla. It's interesting what a few decades of popularity and merchandising can do. I don't say this in a bad way, but the focuses are so completely different. Nowhere near as good as the original but an extremely fun watch. Plus, mini Godzilla is adorable.
  25. When the sky is falling down and you see the faintest shape of a face in the clouds. Also, you know you're among sanderfans when you don't need to specify any further.
