  1. "I overslept," she replied. "mornings have never been my strong point. Has it started yet?"
  2. That's still plenty of stuff to do. For my part I don't think I could handle a serious second playthrough anytime soon. Once you finish you realize the game really doesn't have that many objectives. And raiding bokoblins for a weapon that will last you two battles doesn't seem so worth it anymore. I should buy the dlc. Wish I could start fresh, without any knowledge. Messing around with it for a few minutes every once in a while can still be fun though.
  3. Makes sense, master rank is supposed to be the focus. I have a hard time imagining Daimyo as the gateway into mr though, in the one I'm playing he's in the lower half of low rank. These monsters change difficulties with each game I swear.
  4. Group D. Ilia engraved the name in her head even though she would only need to remember it for a couple minutes. "Thanks." she said hurriedly as she took her ID back. Ilia made her way back outside, the energy she had mustered from the anxiety of being late completely drained, and the handful of cookies she had for a breakfast catching up to her. She felt weak and hungry as she dragged her feet to the group below the big letter D. And tried not to attract the leader's attention as she joined her classmates. He was already speaking, better not to stand out.
  5. That's just the same as asking if I like spoilers. I don't. Best pancake topping?
  6. A slice-of-life story that goes on forever while still being enjoyable is kind of a dream of mine. I've recently started reading The Wandering Inn and have been made aware of its ridiculous word count. Prose can get weird and the tone is extremely inconsistent (from full comedy to borderline grimdark in a couple chapters) but I hear it's just the first volume being experimental and that it gets better after a while. Hopefully this is what I was looking for. Just have to deal with the fact that I'll likely never catch up.
  7. For PC? These are the ones I have at hand rn. A lot of them are from the series in general as you said but you should recognize most characters. Hope this works, my experience with drive is weird.
  8. No, but for the fun of it I tried with RoW and hilariously it said "...then she wondered if it was a trick." Do you believe squirrels are the real dominant species?
  9. So apparently Kondo just said after Kuro they're about 60-70% done with the series. I'm pretty sure those numbers haven't changed since CS2.
  10. Ilia fumbled through her backpack and handed the man her ID. "Ilia Stillwater."
  11. Being in the Shard this'll sound cliche, but Call to Adventure. Favorite indoor activity?
  12. Everything Everywhere All At Once swiftly overtook Belle as my favorite movie this year so that was unexpected.
  13. (never thought this thread would actually take off) The mentor character from Cars. Is there anyone controlling your life right now?
  14. Blue. Favorite unusual ice cream flavor?
  15. From the 4 I've read, the fourth one. Favorite brand of cereal?
  16. Oh yeah, that entire sequence I just kept grinning like an idiot, I didn't want to run out of dialogue to find. Luckily there were literal hours of that. And moments like that just keep happening from here on out, Act 3 is wild.
  17. Oh hi! I just finished chapter 4 actually. Best moment to make theories I guess. Heck, even the author just gave me a warning (through Rena) that this will likely be less enjoyable once the answers start to drop. I'm eager to continue but I'm also tempted to spend a day or two theorizing. Idk. Well, after this first half, I have a lot of questions and less theories than I would like. Specially since I thought chapter 4 would be a proper chapter. Telling me only 1-3 are officially question arcs gives me a lot less to work with than I hoped. After Tatarigoroshi's ending I thought for sure there were some vital pieces missing about to be dropped, but I'll do my best. Though I guess there were. Himatsubushi dropped some big bombs, just less than I expected. However, the amount of revelations you get there kinda contradicts the "You have a right to reject this chapter" line you get at the start. That has me a bit confused. Serious stuff aside, I can go for some fanboying. I'll say I love Akasaka as a protagonist, he was a nice change of pace. Ooishi really got to shine this time too, Tatarigoroshi made me doubt it for a bit, but I really like the guy. Regarding chapter 3, while Rena is still my favorite character, I'd be lying if I said Satoko isn't currently the character I'm attached to the most. I expected that since chapter 1 honestly, was just waiting to actually know her beyond a superficial level, and boy did I get more than I bargained for. Also, I now get a dopamine shot every time a character says their catchphrase. Except Ooishi. Assuming his catchphrase is his laugh, he does it waaaay too often. When you get 3 mii's in a row you know it's fanservice. When Ooishi laughs thrice in a row you know five more are coming. Oh, and good Tsukihime reference during the all cast review in Himatsubushi. Thinking about it now I can't decide if Chie in general was based on Ciel or not. I think that's all I can come up with for now. I'll try to solve this, but I really doubt I'll resist the urge to start the answer arcs tomorrow.
  18. Hmmmm let's see. There's an important character who first appears in Iron Man 2. In terms of character development Tony goes through some interesting points in that movie. In terms of contribution to the overarching plot though, I don't think it's the most important, no.
  19. Ilia felt her legs burn as she finally saw a group of people gathered ahead, outside of Crawnly Keep. Luckily, it looked like they hadn't left yet. She ran past them and into the keep. "I'm here" she started, having to pause to breathe for a few seconds "for the orientation." she finished. Having spoken before actually checking if there was anyone inside.
  20. At the moment I spend most of my time in Community. Which is to say here, Entertainment, and RP. The only Sanderson series I'm up to date with right now is Elantris, so I'm avoiding the book forums for now. Do you know the difference between university and college (because I don't)?
  21. That makes sense actually. At the very least Malzeno is a master rank monster, maybe Astalos too. Sending you to fight a mr monster, with 15 minutes, massively undergeared, and telling you it's "challenging" would be cruel. They did say that was kind of the case for the first demo though, which is why some people timed out on mizu, even though you had the full 50 minutes for him.
  22. First time I hear the name. TPBM likes Poets of the Fall.
  23. This is it, this is the true way. How did it take this long?
  24. Good luck! Malzeno was kind of unbeatable for me with the 15 minute time limit but maybe with two people you'll manage. His theme is sooo good too. And Astalos, well, is Astalos. That guy thrives in closed spaces, his attacks have a lot of range and you fight him in places where you barely have space to evade them, it's really cool.
