The ground rumbled. "Oh Damnation.." Storm whispered "Kane, Mace, Yzabet, Elkanah. With me!" Storm shouted, already rushing back towards the Basement. "Protect the Terminal do NOT let them cut us off." Storm swallowed a vial of prepped tin, soon he felt a familiar reserve in his stomach region. He turned it on to a slow burn, and immediately, his senses increased tenfold. He heard the shouts from below, and smelled the stench of flesh burned by gunshots. He summoned Swing as a blade in his left hand, and grabbed a dagger with his right. He drew in stormlight from his pouches, and he began storing way part of his pain sense. He rushed in, stormlight raging in his veins, a thunderous look in his stormy grey eyes (How he got his name), Raging storm urging him to act, to move. He stabbed a crusader in his eye-slit, and then slammed his shardblade into the helmet of another, stunning him, and then coming down again, shattering his helmet, and striking his head, the crusader's eyes burning out as he fell. All in a matter of seconds. He briefly acknowledged the others coming in behind him, before rushing towards the Crusaders nearest the Terminal. They anticipated his attack, aiming at him. He quickly morphed Swing into a shield, gunfire ringing off of the Shard-shield. As he reached for a dagger, something tore into his shoulder from behind; more crusaders, shooting at him. He cried out, breathing in more stormlight, and storing away the rest of his sense of pain. He fell into a more fluid stance, keeping his attention focused on the enemies nearest the Terminal, but also watching the whole room. Fortunately, the others had drawn the attention of the rest of the Crusaders, and he made a stormlight assisted leap towards the Terminal, bringing Swing down as a shardblade cracking one of the marines' armor at the shoulder, and then bringing it around again to block the other's blade. The Marines fought wildly, the next few moments were a flash of blades, guns, and occasional shard-shields, clangs and shots echoing in the chaos. With some difficulty, he finally smashed through their armor, one at the shoulder, the other on the side; and was able to land a fatal hit with his blade.

Storm rushed over to where Mace and Yzabet were. "Harmony! Mace, that was risky!" he exclaimed, glancing over at the Shoggoth. Mace was already looking much better, from his Gold, and Yzabet's healing, and he appeared conscious. "But effective I suppose.. Also, I called in the rest of our Stone soldier forces, They should be arriving shortly via the Terminal. Speaking of which, if there are any civilians still here, send them out that way too, it's the least we can offer this poor city, caught in the middle of a storm.."

Storm arrived. He was in the basement of the TUBA building in the AlleyCity. Two TUBA scientists sat at the operator station for the Terminal. "There are TUBA forces upstairs sir!" one of them said quickly. "Good. Thank you." Storm was about to hurry off up the stairs but stopped, acting on a whim, and turned around. "Call in as many Stone Soldiers as you can. I expect we'll be needing them.." The scientists nodded, and with that, Storm was up the steps. Indeed, several TUBA soldiers were gathered in the main room here. One of the captains, a woman named Sera, rushed over to fill him in on the battle. "Sir." She said with a nod. "On orders from Mace we got this building secured this morning, and we've spotted few Black Crusade soldiers in this area of the city." "Good, good." Storm said. "What's the latest on Mace?" "Last I heard, he was with the stone soldier battalion, but he went off on his own towards the inner Alleys." Storm grunted in acknowledgment, thinking. "I've also called in the rest of the Stone soldiers." he said after a moment. "When they arrive, we'll deploy whatever troops we can spare to go and join Mace." And so they waited.

Storm stepped up to the Terminal -- it really was a marvelous work of engineering, the TUBA scientists did their job well -- nodding to the scientists as he stepped into the box of transporter's glass that was in the center of the machine. Of course, this was much more than Transporter's glass could normally accomplish, but with the help of several other bits of magic and technology, it made a machine that could bring things from world-to-world without major difficulty. The machine whirred to life, gemstones blinking, gears turning, Aons glowing. Storm felt a strange weightlessness and a jolt in the region of his stomach , the effects of travelling so far, and then everything seemed to return to normal as the whirring subsided. He stepped out, now in a smaller room. Swing hummed from his shoulder. "I don't like travelling that way." She said flatly. "yes, I know" Storm said evenly. "But we need the speed, we need to get to the aid of Mace and the Stone Soldiers. Quickly." He walked out of the room, emerging in the basement of the TUBA bakery in Kholinar. It appeared as if he had just emerged from a small pantry cut from the stone. Expander's glass was a very useful tool. Here already to greet him was Jaysen, the head baker at this location. "Greetings Brightlord Storm!" he said cheerfully. "I have prepared what you requested" he continued, gesturing to a large pouch that rested on the ground. "Thank you much Jaysen" Storm said, a faint smile on his lips. "But you don't have to call me Brightlord." "Ah, force of habit sir." Jaysen said. "I've been spending too much time amongst the locals." He grinned. Storm smiled, but his expression quickly turned more solemn. "Jaysen, you're a valuable TUBA member, and you work hard." he said, looking him in the eye. "So, thank you. And especially thank you for masterminding the Stone Soldier Project. Mace is now leading a force of them against the Black Crusade. And we have you to thank." "Oh, I don't deserve so much credit," Jaysen said in a humble tone. "I only thought of the concept, it was your planning, and the work of the TUBA Scientists that brought it all to reality." "Regardless" Storm said, "I hope this is not my last time speaking with you, as I'm heading to ground zero of the deadliest war the Alleyverse has ever seen." "I hope we speak again as well." Jaysen said. Looking Storm hard in the eyes. Storm proffered his hand. Which Jaysen accepted, shaking his hand firmly. Both men nodded solemnly. Storm turned to re-enter the Terminal. Back to headquarters to make the final preparations --- Present Time Storm stood before the Terminals. A sizable crowd had gathered in anticipation of his departure. It looked like every TUBA member that wasn't away from the headquarters on assignment, or of course involved in the war, was present. Hushed whispers came from around the Terminal area, almost enough to echo throughout the cavern that made up the Headquarters. As he walked nearly to the Terminal that lead to his destination, the room went quiet. He had prepared all he could. It was time. "Send me to the Alleyvillage." Storm said. softly but clearly. The scientists working the machine nodded silently. Each understanding that he would be heading into a war zone. "I leave you with explicit orders to let no one through the Terminals unless they can give you the Passcode-word. Level 5 status, Maximum security." Storm looked around the room at the silent faces, many who he had recruited himself, and many he had worked side by side with over the past months. TUBA was still young, and yet it seemed as though it had been around for much longer. "War is truly upon us" He said solemnly, addressing the crowd. "There is nothing glorious about this fight. I will not sugar-coat it. It will be the bloodiest conflict the Alleyverse has ever seen. But remember what we stand for. We were the Hope under the oppression of the DA. And we will still act as defenders of what is right. Through whatever happens, stay true to your values, whatever they may be, and if they are good, then you will prevail. We will get through this." He stepped almost into the Terminal box, turning around once more. "Farewell friends." He said quietly. "If I do not return, it has been an Honor to work with you. May Harmony guide us all." And with that, the Whirring and flashing began again.

Yesterday, just after Solace's forces were assembling Storm hurried through the TUBA base, he had just received word from Mace via spanreed. Solace was poised to attack, and The Black Crusade held the Alley-Village. "What does it mean?" His Cryptic, Swing, asked from his shoulder. "It means," Storm said, arriving at his quarters, "That war is upon us" Swing hummed in a concerned way, but she said nothing. Storm gathered his supplies in a sturdy backpack; all the vials of prepared Tin that he could find, several knives, four pouches of infused emerald broams (he had just gone by the supply depot), as well as several medallions, just in case. He looked down at his clothing, nothing theatrical about it, but it was sturdy and tight-fitting enough that it would be good for fighting, no loose fabric to get in the way. "Alright Swing." He said. "Time to put all that training to use." and he hurried off again, to the terminals. --- Storm stood before the device of mish-mashed magic and technology; Fabrial, Silimatic, some Aonic, even clockwork bits. They called them Terminals, and this one led to Roshar. He would need to make a quick stop there.

I may choose to keep my money in the TUBA base, as no one but TUBA higher-ups know it's precise location. Unless of course your bank can guarantee the safety of all money. (additionally, TUBA may open a guild account in said bank, if it proves to be truly secure) (should we just make it against the rules to rob the bank?)

One of the narrators had no clue what was happening, as he hadn't been keeping up (and he was still trapped in the cognitive realm) so he decided to talk about a spider who had a spike granting it the surge of illumination. It was somewhat irrelevant. Also, Jasnah discovered an underground lair filled with chocolate cake, and partyspren.- 111800 replies

Storm examined the man "did he give a name?" He looked him over. "Pupils are dilated, unfocused. Doesn't seem like the symptoms of a concussion. He doesn't appear to be dizzy, or nauseated.."

Storm sat again in his office, storing various attributes in his tinminds. A blinking light alerted him that someone was trying to contact him via spanreed, he stopped storing eyesight, and looked to see which spanreed was blinking, it was from one of their bakeries on Scadrial. He rose and turned the dial. it began scratching out a message; Storm, Hope you're well! And that everything at HQ is running smoothly. I was also hoping that you could help me with a man who has wandered into the bakery here. He seems to be crazy, but perhaps a Lightweaver's attention to detail could discern something of what he is saying, or trying to say. And as you are an expert on details, I thought perhaps you could help. Best regards, Mace A crazy man? well, he had no other business to take care of, and Mace always did provide him with great opportunities for conversation. Timeskip of Storm traveling to the Scadrial bakery via [REDACTED] and passing through [REDACTED] Storm walks into the back room of the bakery to find Mace standing by a man, who looked like he had been through quite a lot, sitting on some crates. "Hello Mace," Storm says pleasantly, striding over to clasp hands with his friend. "So this is the man you spoke of?"
