  1. Yes, requires reapproval at the moment though.
  2. Voidus gave a slight, grim smile to Deteca but his eyes remained cold as he spoke. "I understand your caution, I'm not exactly without my own." His eyes flickered over to Sudiov and back. "Which makes this offer of yours somewhat suspect. Why should we combine forces with you when we're more than capable of dealing with this ourselves? And losing half of a city is better than losing all of it after all. I have no faith whatsoever that your... ally here would avoid attacking the moment our back was turned and that would be little better than leaving this matter unattended." Sudiov stood nearby, his smile seemed polite but the daggers he glared in Voidus' direction showed that the mistrust between them was mutual. "So." Voidus continued. "What do you have to offer us to offset the risk?"
  3. Removed the triple post. Creating topics can take a bit of time so be careful of double or triple clicking the create topic button.
  4. I'd say Parkouring would be covered under Assassination to a large extent. Staying hidden, scaling buildings, rapid movement, etc. Could max out Assassination and just leave 5 points over? Can do, I'll have a look for their profile and get it added.
  5. There was a sudden swirl of glowing mist before them which slowly resolved into a number of figures composed of Stormlight. Looking almost solid if not for the small whisps that still came off of them. "Sudiov." Voidus said as he materialized. "I don't suppose even you'd be idiotic enough to do something like this, but on the off chance you were..."His eyes narrowed, all light vanishing from them as he stared blankly at Sudiov. "Save it for your underlings." Sudiov snorted. His face grimaced as though in pain before he continued speaking, talking to Voidus like this felt unnatural. But not as unnatural as the disturbance he'd felt. "So it sounds like you noticed it as well, that saves some time. I have some people who'd like to talk to you..." He motioned off to one side, giving Deteca a chance to speak if she wished.

Voidus nodded in agreement, he'd already shown that the issue was a little too personal for him to make objective decisions accurately, best to leave the exact calls to Mac for the time being. "We'll send out a few small teams then, strict orders to remain covert for the time being." Voidus said. "You can direct things from here, keep track of the information flow." He paused, trying to decide the best use for himself and the Stranger. When the time to act openly came then they could take to the frontlines, but until then they might stand out a bit if they left the Alleys. As he was mulling over the problem he felt something, another tug on the power of the Void. It was no less powerful, but this time it wasn't as twisted, it felt normal. Right. "Sudiov." Voidus growled low, wondering what he was up to. His eyes jumped to a corner of the Alley, piercing through space once again until he saw the semi-transparent figure awaiting him, staring right back and surrounded by other figures. TUBA? What were they up to? He'd thought it was unlikely they'd be involved in something like this, they weren't the type to try to destroy the world just to try and take the DA with it were they? He saw Sudiov mouth something and was able to make out his own name coming from the ethereal mouth. A conversation? Fine. He opened a small bag at his waist, pulling a few spheres out, only to immediately place them back. Dun, shouldn't have lost control earlier. He chided himself. He relied on a Nicrosilmind instead, pulling the Investiture from it to fuel a Lightweaving and then combined it with a Surge of Transportation. He saw an image of himself flicker into existence before Sudiov, allowing others present to see and hear him as well, then did the same in reverse. Glowing mist slowly resolved into the figures of Sudiov, Deteca and the others grouped together with them. It wasn't perfect but this was probably the best they could manage. "Sudiov." Voidus repeated again. "I don't suppose even you'd be idiotic enough to do something like this, but on the off chance you were..." His eyes narrowed, all light vanishing from them as he stared blankly at the opposing figure.
  7. Sudiov took a deep breath in, pointless though it was given that he didn't need to breathe, but the motion helped to relax him a little. He dropped his shoulders a little, allowing the muscles to relax. Finally ready he gave a small nod to himself and held out one hand before him until he began to stare at it intensely. A small bead of darkness appeared at the center, steadily growing until it formed a small orb of perfect darkness that seemed to absorb the light from around it. Careful attention was needed to avoid using too much but if he didn't use enough then Voidus might not notice. The ball grew a little larger under his watchful eyes before finally stopping, maintaining a consistent size as it seemed to spin gently. His eyes briefly glanced up to Deteca, watching her curiously for a moment before he began staring off into the distance again, eyes unfocused and wandering until they finally seemed to snap to a point. Glaring daggers through the space that lay between them and with clenched teeth, Sudiov gave a low murmur. "Voidus."

    The Perils of Eavesdropping

I mean I don't want to put any additional pressure on you Zinc, the tarot cards are already enough of a project I don't want to ask for more. But at the same time... DOOOOO IIIIIT!
  9. Approved and added.
  10. Weaknesses: Impulsive (-10), fear of sharp objects (-15), weakened blessing (-10) 25 points left over if you want to go to max points.
  11. I do it too from time to time. So are you wanting to have the less effective blessing? Or some other way to cope with the spikes?
  12. If I didn't already have 5 characters then definitely. Maybe I'll be an NPC wolf for some funs. I'd probably adjust this based on the rest of the character but ~-15 It's going to be more or less relevant depending on the character. For example if you're in the Ghostbloods and just being an assassin then being amoral is almost more of a benefit than anything, so it'd only be maybe a -5. If they're an Edgedancer specializing in using Regrowth to heal wounded people then it'd be far more detrimental to the character so rank higher as a weakness.
  13. For changing bodies, only taking an hour is pretty good. Some of the new Kandra take over a day. Very reasonable, that's a good example of how weaknesses have been shown. Maybe take out the going comatose part? So they have trouble controlling their powers when exposed to any but if it's the specific type then they lose their powers all together.
  14. As with so much of this season it felt incredibly meaningless for me. There was no set up, no consequences or morning or impact, just another dragon that's now gone. I mean I'm guessing that they wanted to show a reason why the dragons couldn't just raze the entire city because if it was just about whittling down the dragons then they had plenty of opportunity to kill them in the battle for winterfell. But yeah, having that happen when they tried to talk to Cersei would have been way more impactful and made actual sense. A wall-mounted Ballistae firing at a stationary target in order to make a point and drive the armies apart again.
  15. I have no idea how you did that but there was some really weird formatting in it, I couldn't either until I removed some invisible elements that were covering it. 85 Would be a non-newborn Kandra basically, not experienced in the sense of experienced by kandra standards. Keeping it to 1 hour is pretty good as Kandra go. I'm fine if that's what you want to go with but that would cause some serious degradation to the spikes. Breaking pieces off of a spike causes vastly increased decay.
  16. Both look fine, will add them to your list of chars. That's a High Epic power so this one is going to be scored pretty highly. Assuming that this cannot apply to Invested surfaces it should come out dead on 100 points for the Epic power. And the skills should be around 40 (Skilled hand-to-hand plus some extra for strength) Should come out to within limits however I do want to point out that this isn't how Epic Weaknesses work, if melons are the weakness then they would completely prevent the power, not cause unconsciousness and random material cycling. White sand is Invested, I wouldn't feel comfortable approving something that creates Investiture from nothing. Also free Soulcasting is very powerful in its own right so this would almost certainly be over power limits. Epic power: 60 points Skills: Assassination (60), Weapons (Knives) - 35 points (Covers using them in melee or thrown to an average skill level) Epic weakness: -20 (Really easy to accidentally trigger this one) Weakness: -25 Total: 60(M)+95(S)-45(W) = 110 points Easy enough to grab skilled weapon proficiency (50), or expert level (75) with knives. Expert would put you exactly at 150. Kandra - 95 points (This reminds me we need to redo Kandra scoring) Skills - 65 points Weakness: Depends, Aichmophobia would be very detrimental for a Kandra. Do they keep their spikes still? If so what effect does this have on them? Total: 95(M) + 65 (S) = 160 points Weakness will almost definitely counter the 10 points over but if you could clarify that would be great.

Voidus watched KanMien as they spoke, eyes still intent but no longer filled with the same icy rage they had been earlier. It had been good to know that the Stranger and Mac were both willing to stop him if he went to far but it was better to avoid such things entirely when possible. Finally he gave a solemn nod, the point was a good one. Much as Voidus might want to simply take to the streets in force and destroy everything they found that was related to this, information was more important. If they destroyed everything then they wouldn't be able to discover who was behind it. "A fair point, I doubt much would be left behind if our regular forces were given free reign. He turned to look at the others still gathered around. Laurelai's eyes had become unfocused again, no doubt she was preparing another Forgery to determine additional information. The new recruit, Lita, still seemed a little unsure of themselves. The other two seemed to be strategizing as well, sorting the information they'd received and coming up with the best plan. "Well Mac?" Voidus asked. "It's your department, what are you thinking?"

  19. Skills: 85 points Epic power: 70 points Weakness: -15 Total: 140 points Approved
  20. I'd say this one should be fine, maybe hold off on the plate for the time being, if anyone has any concerns about it then we might need to have a discussion but I guess in the interests of keeping the narrative flowing I'll say conditionally approved for now. As you say it's been a while in the works so I don't expect any objections to be raised but limiting character strength was a community decision so I also don't want to override that by myself without allowing the opportunity for feedback. I'm gonna struggle to place this one on my list Guess I'll slot it in with information manipulation abilities. Should be somewhere in the region of 60 points, will update if needed when I have access to my home PC.
