  1. Yup, but mostly he just has lots of time to contemplate how much his face is about to hurt from tripping over Not quite as bad as: BurnVictim: The ability to set himself on fire, has no heat resistance.
  2. It still hurts just as much as if he'd fallen at normal speed though
  3. Definitely a start. Along with: Matrix: Can fall in slow motion. Bored: Has the ability to stop paint from drying. I'm definitely going to need a new setting to put all these Epics in.
  4. Yeah as was mentioned it's only gold that allows for multiple spikes, spikes take very near to 100% of the ability. As for using multiple spikes to get all powers, we have no way of knowing if this would work and I suspect that it wouldn't, we have yet to see anyone be non-lethally spiked but I suspect it would damage their other abilities too much for them to be retrievable, otherwise TLR and Ruin wouldn't have wasted so many feruchemists just stealing one ability from them.
  5. I'm inclined to agree, Brandon can be particularly careful of his wording sometimes but I doubt he'd say something like this just to flat out contradict it in what may well be the last book in the Reckoners universe, it just wouldn't serve any purpose.
  6. Really? I suspected it was possible since Regalia started altering Epic powers. She had Obliterations help of course but it still showed it was possible at least.
  7. Which lends further possible feasibility to my gifting gifter who can gift the ability to gift. Also means that both Corpsemaker and Upgrade are ok for now.
  8. Or I can make a teleporter-attracting Epic. MOAR EPICS!!!!!! (I've passed 100 new Epics in the last two days since we got that info about useless Epics)
  9. New reply on the AMA re: Teleporters, I asked how common they were and he said they were rare so let's just assume Oregon has lots just because they all like the scenery there
  10. I think Comatose might be up next in Corvallis, we'll need to finish off the current fight and then see where the intrigue takes us.
  11. Binge creating insane new Epics

  12. Welcome to the forums! Mistborn is probably my favourite too but only because Stormlight isn't finished yet. I'd also recommend picking up Elantris sometime, it was Brandons first published work so the writing's not quite as good as in Mistborn or the SA but still definitely worth a read. You can't go wrong with any of Brandons books really, they're all great. Can I interest you in a welcome-to-the-forums cookie?
  13. Sight inversion: Can see the world upside down. Analogification: Can turn digital clocks into analog clocks Invisible transparency: Can make glass invisible. The ability to turn margarine into butter. The ability to open automatic doors Temperature inversion: The ability to feel cold as hot and hot as cold. The ability to merge a spoon and fork into a spork.
  14. What's that? You need help and want a massive list of ideas for weird Epic powers? Well if you insist I suppose I'd better get to work then.
  15. Should probably be moved to the cosmere theories board if it's going to get into a meta-discussion. For Roshar though I doubt it, babies aren't particularly notorious for honorable acts.
  16. Do you need help deciding on the secondary? If you need help I'm right here. Just here if you need any help. I've got plenty of ideas if you need any help with it. Just let me know. If you need help that is. Because I can help. With powers. Or new Epics. Do you want a new Epic? You probably do. I'm going to draft up another 50 now.
  17. Well just being twice as heavy isn't exactly going to break through a rooftop, Edge and I can be picky about Epic physics sometimes but I'm sure we could work something out.
  18. Brandon has confirmed multiple times that Nightblood is essentially a twisted Shardblade with much more Investiture.
  19. Welcome to the forums! Calamity is clearly a brick made of porridge. Would you like a cookie?
  20. That'd be 2, nearly 3 PIs.
  21. I think that's a ship the world could do without. Preferably by having both parties fired into the sun. Wait, no. Fired into two different stars at opposite ends of the universe.
  22. Lucky the dresses were made of a breathable fabric
  23. Did I mention that one time Amputee had a really bad case of dandruff and he woke up one morning covered in his own corpses wearing an ensemble of dancing outfits?
  24. He tried to negotiate a better price for the tutu but he didn't have a leg to stand on.
  25. Oh didn't I mention? The clothes count as part of him once they appear so they heal back if they get removed from the dead ones.
