  1. Not necessarily, even without Atium she's the much more experienced fighter, with superior senses and one who's been trained in stealth, Elantris is big, Vin could just follow him and wait til he falls asleep to stab him if nothing else. Metal placement isn't lucky though. Saying 'Oh and there's an Aon here that Raoden can use to blow up the street' would be closer to saying 'oh and Raodens standing on a grenade with a metal pin that Vin can pull out' than it is to supposing that there's a vague possibility that Raoden has a belt. Or coin. Or crown. Almost everyone has some metal on them since it's only known to be dangerous on Scadrial.
  2. Ignore the cookie haters, they're just jealous that they didn't get delicious cookies. Welcome to the 17th Shard! Hope you have some fun. Would you care for one of the aforementioned delicious cookies?
  3. He'd know where she is for about 1 second after he teleported, by then she would have moved. If such an Aon existed at a convenient location nearby, despite no mention of defensive Aons like that being placed in Elantris and it did avoid hitting him still (Pretty much any method of destruction would still blow him up even if it didn't specifically target him, but hey let's just suppose it also throws up a handy shield) then Vin would still be able to Steelpush her way to safety since she'd see it coming then squish him against the ground. There's very few ways to checkmate a full Mistborn.
  4. The teleportation plates teleport to specific places and Vin would probably do better at range than Raoden would, she's used to long range sneaking battles, he isn't. As for the other two why would there already be Aons with modifiers to target specifically Vin just lying around Elantris?
  5. Thanks, it's not like I was looking through an old geography textbook and named about 20 Epics after random words in the glossary or anything.
  6. We have no idea if such Aons exist, and even if they did it would at the least need modifiers otherwise he'd kill himself too, and again Vin would see it beforehand.
  7. Which he has no way to know since he has no idea how allomancy works... Plus he'd need to target every metal in his vicinity which is unlikely since he couldn't see metals as easily as Vin. And again, all assuming he has no metals on him (Which for anyone other than a Scadralian is incredibly unlikely. One piece of metal inside his shield and he's dead in seconds.
  8. He would pretty much need to blanket the city for anything to be inevitable, Vin just has too much movement that plus Atium renders her nigh invulnerable. And turning the metal coins into molten slag is probably only going to end badly for him.
  9. Again she knows all of that, she's got the advantage of knowing his capabilities and plans, he knows nothing of hers. Raoden drops his shield, begins to start releasing his Aons, oh dear he already has 50 coins in his back that Vin just pulled there from behind because she already knew he was going to do that.
  10. Savannah: Shapeshifter who can transform into a cheetah and draw any nearby water to him, including groundwater and even some water from within peoples bodies, prolonged use can kill people by dehydration. As for Brighthead and Fundemented I have no idea, just thought of their names as I was typing.
  11. 14 chase 10 Rainmaker 0 Converter 10 Phoenix 14 Cornucopia
  12. I meant more that Vin could attack from behind the second he lowers his shield, she knows literally everything he's about to do, massive advantage no matter how powerful Raoden is. Which is not even counting what would happen if she Duralumin burned Atium which lets her know the entire course of the fight and how to win it.
  13. That do you then? I disagree that he was addressing the points separately but I think this should pretty much clinch it regardless.
  14. Which takes how long to draw, needs how many modifiers and is how dangerous? Steelpushing is a lot more reliable. But then he'd be trapped in one place, Vin could just dispatch the other two and then Raoden has to face Vin, Kal and Hrathen with no support.
  15. Just started Salem because I had a random idea for a conversation I wanted to start and I didn't want to wait for the next game day Actual combat will start up once the Dalles and Portland are done for the night.
  16. Savannah nursed his drink, eyes lost in thought as he contemplated the coming day. "Hey, Savannah right? You're in the arena tomorrow." An elderly man sat across the table from Savannah, the mans turquoise tophat marked him as either an Epic or completely insane. "Yes that's right, and you are?" "Ah scuse me manners, Brighthead at your service." The man swept a seated bow to Savnnah, almost smashing his flushed face into the table as he did so. "Whoops. Well I'm jus a minor so I haven't been in the arena yet, I watched that match with Fundemented and whashisname last week, man that was good. Never would have called that he'd use that pencil in the end. So anyways, nervous for tomorrow? You're gonna meet Soulcaster himself and all." Savannah nodded grimly. Fear overpowering his pride. "Very nervous, I mean he's got to be one of the strongest Epics in the state. I hear he has a super powerful Epic in his employ that he just uses to set his watch in the morning!" Brighthead laughed at that, finishing off his beer in one massive gulp. "Well yer sort of right on that, but also completely wrong. You got a place to stay? You probly already got one here in the champions bar and all I got is a little two story downtown but you're welcome if you'd like." Grimacing Savannah regained some of his usual arrogance, adressing the minor Epic coldly. "I'll be fine to get accommodations by myself thanks." "Ah thas much better." Brightdeath said, nodding in approval. "Got to carry yaself right or Soulcaster might just give ya some 'assistance'. Turned one guy into a lemur for his match cause he thought he was 'too short for an Epic'. Well, drink up next rounds on me." Nervously Savannah accepted the offer, the information doing nothing to dispel his worries at meeting Soulcaster. Still some 'liquid courage' couldn't hurt right? And he still had plenty of time to head up to his rooms and get rest before the next day arrived. "Make it two rounds and you can stay and drink with me." Savannah agreed. "Ah tha sounds like a good deal to me. Just so's you know though, drinks are free fer Epics anyway." Brighthead said with a wink before ducking under Savannah's clumsy smack to his head.
  17. Yo mamma's so friendly not even Odium can hate her.
  18. How uncouth!
  19. Soulcaster sent him one as a gesture of goodwill?
  20. Thought this might be relevant here.
  21. TLR on both points, he did his best to save the world even when it ended up vilifying him for it, he had to torment his own people and in the end he wasn't even a martyr. Also he was completely nuts and insane people are fun to talk to.
  22. I made it on memegenerator and I can't see any pictures on their site so I guess their servers are down or something
  23. Well if Reader said something she could just dismiss the effect so it turns back to ink. Thus simultaneously leaving Arsenal unaware that he'll still have pink socks the second he looks away and getting Reader in trouble for lying. Mwahahahaha!
