  1. There are actually people who can lick their own elbow, it's just impossible for most people.
  2. Well it took 4 posts before WHIO took over the thread, longer than I expected

  4. I think it's the alliterative combination of Pugs, Ponies and perfectly insane crackships that gets it done.
  5. No rush, just want to keep it from going stagnant, although the WHIO threads all seem to be pretty good in that regard since we have such an awesome community
  6. I've amassed a fairly large collection of mostly useless trivia over the years, something I'm sure many Sharders have in common, I'm also a pretty big fan of shows like QI which actively attempt to correct popular but incorrect trivia (Several of which I'd have fallen prey to) so I thought I'd share my useless knowledge and corrections with others and perhaps pick up some new pieces of useless facts along the way. So, did you know that the shortest war on record was held between England and Zanzibar in 1896? Zanzibar surrendered after 38 minutes. Contrary to popular belief a ducks quack does echo. Kangaroo does not mean 'I don't know' in Australian Aboriginal. There are several hundred aboriginal languages and many had different names for kangaroos, potentially leading to some confusion on the issue. Brandon Sanderson is actually a mythical superbeing with writting speeds mere mortal authors can only dream of. The electric chair was invented by a dentist. (I may have exaggerated somewhat on one of these claims) Nevertheless share your own factoids, trivia and assorted random knowledge that we might all waste time learning things that will never really matter that much.
  7. The only thing I know even tangentially related to a Zanzibar hamster is that Zanzibar fought on one side of the shortest war on record against England I believe. They surrendered after something like 30 minutes
  8. Just pointing out that I think Inhuman jumped from 11 to 17 at some point. Also how dare you pick on Metronome! Vengence shall be swift and merciless!
  9. Just pointing out that technically he didn't manage it, plus the OP was unclear on which point Goku was from. Given that even clothes seem to be remarkably intact after many DBZ energy attacks I'm going to assume that most of their strength lies in projecting force rather than pure disintegration so I don't know that metal reserves and such would be destroyed. But again, if the they heal faster than they're destroyed then the beam wouldn't even reach their metal reserves, it'd start tearing through the first layer of skin then immediately be repulsed. Wait are you trying to suggest that Goku fight an actual Shard? I thought you meant just using their strength since the fight is in the cosmere. If he went up against an actual Shard who could fight unrestrained that's a pretty instant KO for Goku. They could turn him into cotton candy and feed him to Lift if they felt like it. Or just trap him in Damnation forever.
  10. Well if need be I can always ask Winter and Blackhoof to edit their last posts to let another fight go first.
  11. Goku does lose plenty of times, he just comes back to life eventually
  12. How's progress going for the Substance fight Illuminati? Just wanted to check in so the WHIS thread doesn't stagnate too long.
  13. I wouldn't say Cell or Boo had healing factors beyond anything in the cosmere, certainly they might have been able to heal from more extreme injuries, cell being able to survive even from nearly total destruction if one cell was still alive (Though I will point out that Goku specifically did not manage to kill cell, Gohan did which is evidence that at least at that point in time Goku couldn't quite take out someone with a strong enough healing factor) but Cosmere characters have certainly shown themselves able to heal themselves remarkably quickly. Technically speaking Compounders like TLR have no upper limit on their healing speed, he could heal his entire body in one trillionth of a second if he compounded enough. But they also don't have to invest in planets like that if they don't want to, so it would still need to be voluntary. Plus making a spirit bomb able to absorb the entirety of a Shards investiture would take a rather long time.
  14. You forgot the crackships.
  15. Vin with Preservation is an incorporeal deity so she wins, TLR is so far as we know immune to death unless Goku had some very specific knowledge of how the mettalic arts worked and functionally infinite speed and cognitive perception through compounding. So Goku can lift 40 tons? TLR can compound til he could lift 4000 if he felt so inclined. Indeed with the levels his Allomancy is at I wouldn't be too surprised if he could lift a few tons just from Allomantic pewter. Put Duralumin into the mix and he approachs levels that are just completely insane, Duralumin fueled compounding would stretch the limits of reality, he could tap so much weight that he became a black hole. Against most other characters I'd give the win to Goku, with the possible exception of some SA characters who as has been pointed out have Shardblades
  16. We'll probably just move on to another state or country and continue in such manner until the whole world has fallen under our pony and shipping ladden rule!
  17. I thought so but at first all I could think of was PP, so I typed up a whole explanation about how he's really extremely handwavy with corruption then I realized it was probably Impact but I didn't have the heart to delete all of it so I just chopped it down a little Well I guess it's a good thing he has self reincarnation then, so feel free to mention the metal offhandedly squishing a teleporter if you feel it's necessary. Building a list of Epics thousands long takes dedications, I no longer have time for this emotion you humans call love.
  18. Of all the Epics we've seen so far in canon only 2 would make for even semi-acceptable partners. And one of those two ended up killing their wife.
  19. True, but most Epics would also make terrible partners.
  20. Two possibilities here: 1. You're referring to PP and Penumbra, in which case I'd have to disagree and say that was probably the most overt handwaving away of corruption of any character 2. More likely a reference to Impact in which case... yeah pretty much that's what I was going for, I noticed we've had plenty of characters suddenly becoming an evil slontze upon becoming an Epic but not much in the way of actually showcasing the corruption so I thought I'd explore it a bit and I already had some vague ideas along those lines for MV or Impact. The Adventurer's probably going to do something today that will make them somewhat more obvious but since they've drunk Mary's blood I didn't assume it was all that hidden anyway. More just from casual observers and other unafilliated Epics than the Astorian government itself. Plus the whole robbing an entire neighbourhood including an entire house is probably going to trip some alarms DanceRunner? ... Actually I like that name, stealing for an Epic. Good luck in your search!
  21. Heathen! Lightwards x RandomCoinIFound for life!
  22. Well I'm not in the best place right now for continuous forum monitoring but I shall definitely take you up on your offer another time
