Thankyou Twi! I did indeed have a wonderful day with Mrs. Voidus which mostly involved binge watching tv and lots of junk food I'm really starting to be concerned at how many completely random ideas pop up that are almost exactly the same as one of mine Mintos: Primary Power: Can cause water to explode. Backstory: One of the first Epics and originally going by the name Mentos, Mintos was eventually brought to court and sued by Mentos for giving their name a bad reputation. As a somewhat less powerful Epic living before the capitulation act, Mintos was forced to change his name. He now lives in the ruins of an old Mentos factory that he destroyed. That's.... terrifying.

Quick note: This should probably be moved to the Firefight section, for some reason the Calamity subforum isn't protected so people browsing the main site can see the title which is a bit of a massive spoiler, albeit not an obvious one. On to the actual topic at hand, I'd reiterate Kobolds point that Megan didn't get more powerful because of facing her Weakness, indeed all signs are that this is definitely temporary since she showed that she can easily best Prof in a fight when her powers are that strong which would kind of reduce any kind of tension from him as an antagonist.

There are judges sitting in (occasionally Soulcaster himself though not always) who can call the match if it looks like someones completely unable to fight back but generally it's to the death. Judges usually won't stop a match unless it's both obvious who's won and it's getting boring, like say if Lucentia immediately captured her opponent in diamond but then proceeded to just monologue for an hour about how great she is.

Well that depends, there's an official answer and an unofficial answer. Twi just helpfully posted what amounts to the official explanation, the one we tell outsiders in an attempt to placate them. The real, true answer is that we are completely utterly insane.

She met Scribbler and Edgerunner, other than Redlight they're pretty much the only available female Dalles characters. (Or she could try to bring Impact back to the good side with the power of love )

Sorry, can't multiquote the last thread properly but thought I'd answer anyway. 1-Nope, though possibly with really strong Epics he does need consent. But only like Steelheart level Epics. 2- He needs to touch each person with either his real or astral hand to project that person so yes he can but it takes a while unless the people are all physically connected by holding eachothers hands (That's how he gets spectators into the arena) 3- A matter of some debate right now, technically since he can give others a certain amount of control over the astral plane he could mimic most powers there anyway which means even if a weakness was triggered it would still leave some powers. (Anything other than precognition and telepathy I think, any information-based abilities) 4-Soulcaster is male. 5- Time can be manipulated a bit there but not by much maybe 2x at most. Real bodies are completely disconnected, 6-More automatic 7-Depends on the arena, in classic coliseum battles they're usually in the stands. Mikagura Gakuen? Cause I thought so a bit too only slightly more wide ranged in her flirting. (I vote that Shiny Sparkle tries to create a 'Surrounding Shiny Sparkle with cute girls' club in the Dalles )

So it's that time of year again where I lose all of my money in the pursuit of awesome steam specials. Picked up PC copies of fallout to get ready for Fallout 4 already. Anyone found anything particularly good?

I suppose it depends on whether or not illusions can trigger weaknesses, technically speaking they're just in one giant interactable illusion, none of the objects actually exist. Epics don't need to be aware of the existence of their weakness for it to trigger so there's obviously some kind of objective system for checking whether they're exposed to it. What do people think?

Surely Ruin would be a creeper, content to blow himself to bits as long as he gets to destroy something else, Odium would be an Enderman, secretly creeping into your base and removing that one vital block thus causing your base to somehow get flooded with lava, killing everyone inside of it.

Works for me, the Dalles should have the infrastructure to support having tv and I imagine that Vondra would approve of the concept of Epics fighting without destroying the city enough to at least not actively ban the show. I was imagining a colliseum with a some rocky terrain across the ground, except on Savannahs side where it is now cotton candy because Soulcaster does not approve of being waken up while he's sleeping

Savannah has a shapeshifting ability to turn into a cheetah and to draw water from his vicinity. His opponent will be SomeoneWhosNameIWillSoonDecide: Who has something like a weaker version of Obliterations heat projection as well as enhanced leg strength.

I imagine other Epics and some of the higher class Vanillas would probably watch it though.
