Cornucopias Arboretum is the Peavy Arboretum right near the edge of the bubble and very near to where Argon entered, he'd pass right by it on his way into Corvallis proper probably.

Zip slammed his fists down onto his desk. Three attacks, three disasters that had ended with nearly every member of the attacking teams dead, Refill gone, morale in tatters as everyone noticed their dwindling numbers and a few Epics had left HQ without a word and likely weren't coming back. He would not go back to hiding in that mousehole, hiding from all the Epics who wanted to fight him, hiding from the humans who hated him because he was an Epic. He was somebody important now, he controlled a faction of Epics larger than Altermind or Corpsemaker, for now anyway. No he'd been thinking too narrowly, coming up with interesting ways to use powers was helpful, it had attracted many new Epics and made their forces stronger, but he needed to apply some of the same kind of tactical thinking to the attacks. Subterfuge would work well for now. He needed to undermine the other Epics, it appeared that Altermind was meeting with this new 'Emperor Lightwards', the most likely reason for that would be to make an alliance to deal with Corpsemaker. It made sense, Corpsemaker was probably the most dangerous of the three particularly to other Epics. So an alliance then, that would have to be undermined, perhaps Subtext could be used somehow... Neverthere opened her eyes once more, the dim light of a computer monitor flickering into view, she quickly scanned the various cameras positioned around her safehouse, sure now that no one had followed her here. The neighbours had been asleep when she'd entered, which was fortunate but also disappointing, devising someones death was a chore but the payoff always left Neverthere excited. Well it seems that the attacks have all been dealt with, failing just as spectacularly as anyone could have predicted, I hope C4 survives though. Maybe when I go visit Lightwards tomorrow I can pay her a visit. Stretching her arms above her head, Neverthere leaned back in her chair for a moment, thinking through all that she'd seen and how she could fit it all into her own goals. Lightwards should be likely to accept her help for the time being, though he was a bit controlling, he'd probably try to find out where she was so that he could 'protect' her or something. I'll deal with that if it comes to it, no ones ever managed before and I'm sure I can play him against the diamond queen for now to keep them busy. Between that and the other factions I should be able to manage things very well. Closing her eyes once more, Neverthere sent her projection out again, surveying the city, ferreting out secrets wherever she could and enjoying the carnage left behind by the recent Epic activity. She would sleep later, years of projecting to keep herself hidden had allowed her to survive on relatively little but for now she would deny herself even that. "No rest for the wicked." She giggled as she hung in mid air, watching the lights of Portland slowly winking out.

Scribbler can make an actual glass cannon for her, preferrably one with Deathwish tied up inside as a birthday present

Stretching as she opened the blinds to greet the new day, Cornucopia was met with a distastefully grey sky. I may have to speak to our dear leader about that, showing the little ones our displeasure isn't a bad idea but if we're being attacked I'd rather have a little more sunlight around. The door to her bedroom opened, a young man in a full butlers uniform carrying her breakfast arrived, gloved hands setting her food out carefully before bowing his way out. Nothing less than a full formal staff of butlers and maids would do for Cornucopia, all of them had been trained extensively to avoid making a sound as much as possible so she could enjoy the sounds of the beautiful Arboretum, finishing her morning meal and coffee she rang the small bell at her bedside. The butler entered immediately, taking the finished dishes out as a team of maids entered, guiding her to her bath before laying out her clothes for the day. "Shall I do the honors milady?" Cecilia, her head maid asked, holding up soap and brush. Nodding gently, Cornucopia watched with more interest than usual as she was cleaned. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, her servants displaying no hints of rebellion so far. But then there were no mobs nearby to inspire courage or rally anger, they were in a small house surrounded on every side by Cornucopias plants, the servants likely knew just how suicidal a show of disobedience would be here in her place of power. After she'd been washed, dried, dressed and groomed she dismissed all the maids other than Cecilia and began her walk around the grounds. Kneeling to fix a spot of rot that had started taking root among her flowerbeds she addressed Cecilia quietly. "Do you miss it? The euphoria?" A sharp intake of breath was quickly covered. Cecilia had been around the longest, long enough to understand that though Cornucopia shunned humans and conversations there was still a part of her that needed human interaction, but even she seemed surprised by a show of actual concern. "Yes and no milady, it clouds everything but it also makes it brighter. When I had it I wouldn't have given it up for anything but now that it's gone I'm not sure if I want it back." Cornucopia nodded and rose to look Cecilia directly in the eyes, another rarity. It took some time of silently watching but eventually she was satisfied. "Good then." She said simply before gliding to the next patch of plants. A door slamming jarred Cornucopia from her enjoyment of her gardens as one of the male servants rushed out of the building towards her. "An attack in town, more people going insane and attacking Epics." He blurted out as he hastily bowed. Enraged by the broken silence, Cornucopia very nearly ordered a nearby oak to drag the mans body into the ground for fertilizer. Instead she dismissed him with a gesture before heading back into the house. The servants would need to be handled carefully for now, she'd be very annoyed if she had to train new ones. If things got too bad she might even have to use that, a situation that definitely needed to be avoided. Reviewing the list of gardens that needed attention she decided to see wait until she'd heard from Rainmaker, she never liked leaving the Arboretum even to attend to the other gardens in the city, if someone was attacking Epics there'd likely need to be discussions among the Queens about security needs. Sighing, Cornucopia settled into a chair by the window, folding her legs underneath her she watched the rain drip gently down the leaves of a nearby palm.

I know the feeling, even the weakest most ridiculous superpowers with a little though can become somewhat terrifying. Except Metronome... Because he was er... so terrifying already.

I live in Australia and near to a beach, which might make the summers (My most hated of all seasons) tolerable if there weren't vast amounts of people and I didn't have severe social anxiety. Also I have a phobia of the beach so that probably wouldn't help. -
I'm not sure how I'd feel about a fellow DA member giving someone a fear of being spiked.

A town of low levelled Epics? If I wasn't already in every thread and currently behind on many scenes I think I'd be right at home with a legion of Eugene characters And I was so looking forward to RPing as the great Spongemancer

He'd probably set her to work as a commentator for the arena or just generic make funer of Epics (A real job title that definitely exists!) Or send her to a reality where she gets to relive the most painful moments of her life for all eternity. It depends on whether or not he had a good breakfast.

Voidus is sad. How exactly would Funtimes react to being able to party in a world made of cotton candy and edible glitter with her friends and no Nighthound?

Funtimes is coming to Salem?! I would bribe Twi with all the pugs in the world for that. Soulcaster is getting bored and is in dire need of some Funtimes style entertainment. She would be named city minister of parties 5 seconds after her arrival.

Works fine for me, it's pretty in character. I'll try to get something up for Salem soon. I have a few threads I need to post on, trying to get in a proper writing mindset but hopefully should get something in the next few days.

I do wish I could have written a bit more of Simon. He was probably my most creeptacular Epic to date.

Or proof that I'm not trying hard enough still. *Devolves into flurry of Epic creation* Shattershot: An Epic who can blow up bullets Grinz: Can make people smile. Occasionally so hard that their mouth splits open. Visitor: Can astral project to any person he has ever met, no matter how far away they are, though only for a period of 5 minutes. NightSiege: Can create and hurl large dark projectiles. WarBreaker: Can destroy any weapons.

Despite having 5 other Epics with sky in their name I have no 'Skydancer' in my list, this is the 3rd time you've bested my legion of Epics in coming up with a unique Epic.

If you make the fund Twi could you either advertise in the Questions thread or just send me a PM? I don't check this thread as obssesively as the WHIO threads so otherwise I might miss it -
I vote that we make it Funtimes or Shiny Sparkles lifelong mission to teleport him to the frontlines of every assault in the state to lead it. Then teleport him to the other side of the assault so it's fair.

Someone might have used it in some backstory but nothing major that I know of, though it's been brought up as a potential future location a few times IIRC. That would probably be a good place for him, his abilities are a bit too adverse for him to be accepted in the Dalles in any capacity.

Scribbler would outfit her craft with stealth drives and a state of the art industrial spray can and follow Arsenals flagship around painting various parts of it pink and leaving graffiti'd messages for him. The Adventurer would probably do exactly what you'd expect and try to blow up every other ship he saw. Neverthere would broadcast messages to her ship but remain safe inside a bunker on an undisclosed planet. PP would issue multiple conflicting orders and probably end up getting his ship blown up pretty quickly. Soulcaster would broadcast his spacefearing adventures for all to see and seek out excitement wherever he could.

There're one or two currently undisclosed utility Epics that help a bit with resources (Haven't settled on exact powersets incase anyone wanted to RP someone in the government but something much more limited in scope than Cornucopia or the Financier) but largely through trade and 'donations' gathered from visitors. This is a couple of years before Steelheart, keep in mind that by the end of the RP the population will be 0 Much smaller and Salem just wouldn't be able to support the arena fights is the main problem, I can just use Epics to make up for the lack of labour but we already have a couple of cities with resource creating Epics, I feel like adding another would be stretching it a bit.
