Ok, now listen very carefully. 1. Find a toad (toad, not frog) with a yellow stripe on it 2. Tie one leg of this toad to a stick (Preferably willow) 3. Place this stick in the north facing window of a house home to at least 3 cats 4. Pray to the gods of insanity that they might inspire you. Once that's done, post a character idea here and we'll work out where they can fit in.

Not sure, it's been so long I just don't feel like this day can ever end If it is over then I can tell Mrs. Voidus, who I told the day would be over 'soon' about 3 months ago.

Right now I'd probably say Steelheart, after Calamity comes out probably Calamity or Firefight, a lot of my enjoyment of Firefight is predicated upon how things go in Calamity.

Well as I said her corruption will manifest as a hatred of Epics as opposed to the usual sociopathic mass slaughter of Vanillas, not sure if it's canonically possible for corruption to work like that but I thought it'd be an interesting character. So basically corrupted Scribbler would actually be a pretty good companion for Vanillian, her powerset is basically the ability to create anything she writes down so she'd be able to supply him with whatever Epic hunting equipment was necessary. EDIT: And yes sadly killing Scribbler is pretty off the table, she's had a pretty terrible life so far so I don't want to end it til I've had a chance for her to bond with more puppies.

Some great ideas by Kobolf and Twilyft Scribblers going to be spending the entire night using her powers too, not anything too strong but even so using her power continuously like that is going to make her pretty irredeemable pretty quickly.

I have an Epic character in the Dalles, Scribbler and her corruption is focused towards Epics so essentially she's relatively nice to normal people but thinks Epics should essentially be kept as slaves to serve everyone else. So she'd be very supportive of a Vanilla Villain type character were one to appear.

Well I just created my only female character in Salem but since she's 11 I'm going to insist Shiny maintain a 100 meter distance at all times under penalty of being put into Deathwish's dream reality.

Definitely, I was hoping for some more commentary though, could you do both? EDIT: Just an aside, Olivias immunity extends to Soulcaster himself, she's not obligated to adore him or anything and is welcome to make fun of him if it'll make the match more interesting. Then again Soulcasters liable to change his mind at the drop of a hat so she might get stuck in a torturous reality for all time.

There aren't too many Epics working for Salem so I'm happy for Countdown to be in the government too but that'd be about it, that said a few questions first. What kind of time compression are we talking about here? Is the bubble visible in any way, any visible distortion, etc.? Do you mean just enhanced senses or extra senses in addition to the usual 5?

Works fine for me, trying to undermine him wouldn't exactly be all that difficult either, he's pretty focused on maintaining the arena so he'd delegate a lot of the work involved in actually running the city. I also like the idea of a bunch of posters with Sentry's face on them all around town with various slogans underneath, reminds me of all the WWII propaganda posters. 'Sentry is watching' 'Only YOU can prevent Epic crimes. Also Sentry, because he can watch everyone.' 'Drawing fake glasses and mustaches on Sentry posters is EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN'

New Epic: Meliability- A new and young Epic at only 11 years old, Mellisa Andre has only been an Epic for a few months but during that time she has gained tremendous popularity in the Salem arena. Primary power: Metallic malleability- Can reshape the structure of any metallic object she touches. Passive ability: Enhanced dexterity and physical strength, vastly enhanced speed. She also has very little reaction towards pain though it is unknown if this is an Epic ability or a quirk of her personality. Appearance: Short even for her age, Mellisa has long black hair which she keeps tied back with a black lace bow, her typical attire consists of black victorian era dresses and knee length black boots. She is almost never seen without her trademark scythe, made entirely out of steel it is her main means of attack and defense, being twisted into a variety of shields and weapons, all of which Mellisa has a remarkable proficiency in.

I have one or two gothic Epics I could introduce but with Neverthere and C4 I was thinking I'd overplayed the young female character with a pixie like fascination with destruction. Salem could definitely do with more writers, either working for Soulcaster or just someone passing through town. Though be forewarned that Soulcaster was basically designed to be one of the most OP Epics I could manage and he gets a bit grouchy if people interrupt his fun. (His fun being watching Epics get maimed on a daily basis) Huzzah! Salem can have it's awesome commentator back! I was a bit hesitant about how best to proceed while you were gone.

I occasionally solve that compulsion by writing a short death scene for them to give myself closure Nothing will ever convince me that they can't.

I'd list all of my new ideas but then we'd be here all day, plus that's time during which I could be making even more new Epics On an unrelated note I found the Unicyclist a dog.
