  1. She is pretty powerful already, the limiting factor is how much time it takes for her to do anything that would be hugely corruption-inducing. She doesn't want to be like most Epics but her corruption manifests mostly as an increasing view that Epics aren't really people so she's not actually too invested in preventing that. Huh. I quite like that idea, though in typical creepy Epic fashion I'll probably use blood rather than saliva.
  2. Scribbler 'accidentally' let slip that squids are her Weakness? Then she gave him some incentive by turning his study pink.
  3. Kinda, they act alive but they don't really have memories or complex thoughts or anything. Bioterror/Adventurer posts up, wherin two people are annoyed at Oregonian teleporters lack of curtesy
  4. The sudden change in light, air and scenery dazed Bioterror slightly as he arrived at what he could only assume were the columns. "You could have asked you know." He said scathingly as he realized he'd just been unceremoniously teleported to their destination. He took a pair of earphones out of a compartment at his collar, place one of the buds in his ear he reached up to his shoulder and tapped a few times before he managed to hit the right button. Orchestral scores slowly came to life in one ear as he prepared himself. Hmm... Dark tower huh? Nothing from Mansell would fit, something a bit darker but still kind of actiony. Duel of the Fates maybe? Tapping his collar a few more times the nostalgic music sounded out, reminding him of the days he'd first watched the Phantom Menace. "All set then. Don't get in my way." He said to his companion before walking into the tower. Best switch on the night vision if they've got darkness related powers like this. He thought, eyes changing subtly to allow more light to enter. Hope there's at least a few Epics here, massacring a bunch of people who can't even fight back is not going to be very interesting. Arriving in a dark room, the walls, floor and ceiling all made of the same strange black substance, the Adventurer had to admire the designer, not many people would take the design to this level for fears of seeming lazy, every piece of clutter was completely devoid of a texture, instead all possessing the same black quality as the walls. It certainly made for an interesting atmosphere. "Few people here." He noted, his minimap detecting nearby enemies. "One just entered below, a few more up top. Shall we head down first or clear the top floor?" Lockvault still seemed a little surly about being suddenly dragged halfway across town, but nevertheless he took stock of the situation quickly and came up with a plan. He must have had some experience in a raid team or something. "Top first, whoever's below us might catch up to us there but if we make too much noise fighting the other guy down here the er... boss at the top will probably notice and we won't be able to surprise him." Lockvault said. "Ah. Good point. So stealth tactics then? Try to get some crits in before we get detected?" The Adventurer thought that Lockvault looked almost confused before he simply nodded in reply. Must play as a tank too much to know what rogues have to deal with. He thought, dismissing the strange behaviour. "Right then, up we go, rifles out." The Adventurer said, pulling his rifle to his shoulder, a subtle light grew around him, illuminating the room enough to see by though not spreading too far in front or behind them.
  5. Depends how you classify live but yeah I'd say they are. Ah, yeah I'll try and get on that soon. Should be up tonight.
  6. She can always make one if nothing else She's sleeping after spending all night restocking supplies so any post for her at the moment is not going to be pleasant, I think Deathwish was going to meet up with her later to propose an idea so when he's free she'll probably get a post unless something else urgently needs her attention.
  7. Yeah I could restrict it to squid ink but not sure how she'd have enough of it nor do I know how well it actually works as ink. The empowering it might work, if she can create it though that'd almost be even worse since it'd make it impossible to disarm her. (Although her tattoos already make it difficult)
  8. I've been planning (Terrible I know but I think 10,000 Epics is enough for now) Scribblers story a bit and I realized that her ability to manipulate ink isn't very well defined particularly in the sense of defining what exactly ink is, how much pressure she can exert and so on. I'm having difficulty in limiting her scope since her manifesting things she writes is already pretty broad so if she can manipulate the dyes in peoples clothing and strangle them with it she might be getting into slightly too high-levels.
  9. That sounds pretty awesome. I like Epic abilities that are just a normal ability taken to the extreme, it's what Metronome was going to be, being able to calculate precisely how much time any given event would take, how far he could move in that time, etc. but then it was more fun to have him just be a clock 'Tis indeed, but it'll likely come down to if it happens and she'd be about to interact with one of Vapors squad that I'd just discuss it with you
  10. Well I would but I don't know any way to make it different to the other dozen or so Epics I've made who can knock people out Probably not much, she'd still want to kill Vapor himself and if they protected him or any other Epic she wouldn't feel too guilty about attacking them but otherwise she'd probably leave them be, understanding that they just wanted the power to protect the Dalles. Then again if it got far enough she might decide they're even worse than Epics since they chose to have the power, something she didn't have the option of.
  11. Almost exactly what I have written down
  12. Featuring the legendary uncovered safehand of Twi, have you no shame!?
  13. Action Guy Primary Powers: Slight Breeze- Whenever wearing a long cloak a slight breeze always blows into Action Guy, causing his cloak to flap dramatically. Explosawesome- Whenever something nearby explodes no shrapnel will ever hit Action Guy nor will the force of the explosion ever impact him unless he needs to jump somewhere in which case it will give him a slight push. Non-lethal bullets- Any bullet or wound that does not strike his heart or head will prove completely inconsequential. Convenient cushioning- anytime Action Guy jumps from a building/cliff/helicopter a haystack, pool or truck containing pillows will conveniently appear to cushion his fall. OneLiner- Whenever someone talks for long enough, Action Guy will come up with a one line response and promptly summon a pistol and/or sword to dispatch the monologuer, no one will be able to do anything about this.
  14. Well if Metronome the great decided to enter the Dalles then of course even if Scribbler wanted to tag or attack him she would fail stupendously due to being unable to match his phenomenal powers. She'd probably ask the guards to keep an eye on him as a potential Epic sympathizer, nothing more.
  15. Tempted to say she wouldn't bother but sadly her desire to control/murder all Epics is stronger than the desire everyone shares to make Backtrack feel terrible about everything. But if he brought MV with him she might very well try to murder them both on the spot after word of Deathwish's fight with Impact reaches her.
  16. Well it's been capitalized so it's an Epic now. Yeah chloroform's not as useful as movies portray it, tranquilizers are way more effective. But if needed Scribbler can dose anyone with anything really, ink is kind of hard to notice and/or do anything about.
  17. There's always another Epic.
  18. I have a strange urge to write a particular elbow-eating Epic right now.
  19. Sounds pretty identical to how my depression started, took a efw tries to get on the right medication for it since it seems to be chemical more than anything but it did help so I'd recommend talking to a gp about it, I'd also suggest taking a worrying parent/friend/partner to prod you into being honest about the problem, one reason I took so long to diagnose was that I always underemphasized how severe it was to doctors. Might be something else like a lack of sleep or a vitamin deficiency but regardless I'd still recommend talking to a gp, they can run bloodworks to check for other stuff.
  20. Haven't made much progress with the game the last couple of days but still working on it when I get time. Fixed the weird evil-voidgaze bug that was giving me nightmares.
  21. Edgerunner and the Remington fangirls of the Dalles might have something to say about this.
  22. With the rate she'd be picking up boyfriends/girlfriends/prehistoric murder machines we might need to rename the RP 'What Happened in Nevertheres Harem'
  23. It's clearly a match made in heaven the darkest nightmares of the maidens of Oregon.
  24. Almost tempted to let this become canon just because I like it so much Sadly NT would be more likely to explode things first and threaten to blow things afterwards.
  25. That'd probably result in an outburst of the afore-mentioned murdery personality
