  1. Well it'd let you never run out of strength which is pretty handy. You wouldn't be able to tap it at 1000x the rate like some other compounders do but you'd also not really need to, it's not often that you need to be that strong but being 10x stronger every now and then would be pretty helpful.
  2. Kel wins hands down. He's fought Inquisitors and won without even knowing about their weakness and they'd have been stronger than him in Steel at least. (Or some of them anyway) He'd likely just avoid getting into pushing matches.
  3. I think someone had a theory that it kind of projects force outwards from the surface of your body so it'd be unevenly distributed and produce some friction.
  4. It wouldn't be all that useful, you'd need to precisely hit someone in their spine to actually kill them, the other type of Shardbow is probably more useful TBH. But I've always thought a Shardwhip would be the best form.
  5. Well it would release the feruchemical power faster so kinda useful if you wanted insane god-levels of a trait for a second or two but didn't have a metalmind handy. Just store for a second then Duralu-compound it. Plus Duralumin + Allomantic pewter is pretty awesome, combined with Feruchemical pewter you probably could get a fairly decent Hulk.
  6. Brandon's been quoted before with something that sounded very much like it was also a separate power. EDIT: Alright, memory must have been fading, the quote I was thinking of actually says the complete opposite
  7. You'd probably be protected from any damage caused by excessive tapping of heat, just not excessive storing. Although as I mentioned earlier, you'd need to be careful when you stopped tapping and slowly reduce your temperature otherwise you'd be burned alive by the surrounding air.
  8. We had a massive discussion on this a while ago, I was of the opinion that it was simply a matter of the coin coincidentally being at a position where the vertical components of both pushes cancelled out but others thought there was some kind of friction. Brandon was asked and did say that allomantic pushes do exert friction.
  9. Although we don't know whether they were supposed to be a natural Mistborn or a hemalurgic creation.
  10. Neither is implicitly impossible, the locks would most likely break if you weren't careful but someone who knew enough about physics could still manage enhanced speeds without breaking it. Well you couldn't absorb fire that's outside your body is the point, for it to be useful it would need to heat your body up a certain amount (Which would kill you) then you'd need to store it by cooling down your entire body (which would kill you). Plus tapping enough to melt metal into slag would both incinerate all your clothes and seriously burn anyone else in a significant radius and consume pretty much all of your heat. And once you ran out you'd still be standing in the middle of 500 degree air with no longer any feruchemical protection against it. (Which, again would probably kill you)
  11. As Skaa pointed out Brandons given a few different answers over the years. Either: Need to burn a spike that had stabbed you and stolen your own power. Burning a spike would be incredibly painful and potentially kill you. It would permanently splice your DNA.
  12. And as was mentioned pretty frequently, super-powerful soothings are generally less effective than Breeze's style of very subtle emotional manipulation since when someone is aware of your influence they can become more able to combat it mentally.
  13. It is but that's a separate power, emotions can't force you to do anything, long term they can change your mindset but in the short term they actually don't affect that much. If you really want to kill someone and you have good, valid reasons then you'll still kill them no matter how happy and peaceful you're feeling.
  14. I think emotional manipulation is just not a great PI in general, people's reactions to emotional states aren't set in stone, anyone who knows their powerset might feel horrible as they pull the trigger at this person they feel is the epitome of all that is wonderful but they'll still be able to pull the trigger.
  15. So new Arrow just finished...
  16. I doubt this would work since Feruchemy is internal, you'd need to be on fire long enough for your body to absorb the heat (Which means burning half your flesh off) and if you accidentally absorbed too much you'd kill yourself pretty quickly.
  17. I do a fair bit of research into mythology and I am now greatly curious as to what this was about.
  18. Is the scream because I was wrong? Or because I was right and it's just a squee of excitement?
  19. I thought Mistrunner was just declaring an affection for a spaghetti/rhinoceros/pug OTT.
  20. I saw, I am unsure whether I should be ecstatic or depressed. Probably a mixture of both, just like I will be when I start consuming them.
  21. Scarves are clearly the best, followed by cravats. Sorry Bowties, you just look weird to me.
  22. I stand by my conviction that Hoid told a joke so funny that Adonalsium laughed so hard that he split into sixteen pieces.
  23. Until Babaji at least makes an appearance in a shipping thread I'm vetoing all his potential claims to possess any kind of love magic.
  24. It could also be that he just doesn't want to canonize an answer either way yet.
  25. What was the plan with Scribbler/Game/Shiny again Edge? No worries, not a complaint just very unusual, there's usally at least a page if I miss a night and often 2 or 3.
