  1. *mumble mumble* "Wouldn't get it right anyway." *mumble mumble* "didn't even want to tell you my recipe." *mumble mumble*
  2. I am also from Adelaide. From the far south around Noarlunga.
  3. I'm an Australian Sharder who was just at Hungry Jacks but alas no allomantic stickers. Though I shall now Invest in some.
  4. Well it could only possibly be found in the deepest shadows of a crater on one of the poles so not the best vacation I've ever heard of
  5. To just freak everyone out for a moment Mercury may have water not as a liquid and also not as a vapor but it might have it as ice...
  6. I'm just one of those annoying people that doesn't really study for exams anyway Do a bit of extra revision the night before and I'm good.
  7. Yeah, hasn't even been much movement in the Questions thread I mean this thread's been up a month and we're only just over half way through. Holiday time I guess. Tower scene in Astoria is slowly progressing though so hopefully that will get posted in the not too distant future. Not sure who's going to post first in the Neverthere fight, I can do an unrelated POV from Neverthere but she wouldn't really have much to do other than spy on some other people.
  8. That would work. Though then it's of very little use since you can't burn people with your magma-hands.
  9. Not liquid water probably but water vapor on Venus and maybe some on Mercury? Not sure.
  10. How? An Allomancer is way better equipped to manipulate a gun than a Windrunner is.
  11. *sharpens spikes*
  12. Fusion in Germany? That's my geek-out subject at the moment. Also a map of the epigenome of wheat but that's way less interesting to most people than it is to me. You kind of have to be a molecular biology student in Australia to get excited about advancements in wheat genetics.
  13. Does he need any other motivations? I've always thought he was only trying to put Adonalsium back together in order to have an immortal who owed him a favor so he could just sit around making jokes all the time. Or to try to Ascend so that he can make fun of EVERYONE!

    Double metal

I've heard it used for both but I think most people use it for the former, people usually just refer to Miles as a gold Compounder. I'm not sure they either has been used canonically though.
  15. Not after I spike the allergies out of them.
  16. Hoid seems most like the Chessmaster, not evil but not conventionally good either, something of an antihero.
  17. As an Australian Atheist I am also quite pleasantly surprised. I was expecting cork-hats, kangaroos and devil horns. The Australian ones in particular are actually really quite a good example.
  18. They probably could eventually if they practiced enough, I think Brandon's said that strength could be stored or tapped from only one area so should work for Brass too. They'd be protected against the direct effects so their skin wouldn't melt off but as soon as they set something on fire that's no longer a part of their ability and could likely still damage them. If you want to get into a more detailed discussion though I'd recommend making a topic in the Mistborn forums since Introduction threads are supposed to be spoiler-free.
  19. Fire and people don't tend to mix well.
  20. Tis indeed something of a milestone, the next milestone is whether or not you can be meta-ninja'd by someone above you suddenly diverting the conversation to ninjas a scant few seconds before you do I don't think we have absolute confirmation but it's pretty much guaranteed at this point.
  21. Probably but they'd also likely kill themselves if they did so. Welcome to the forums by the way! Can I interest you in a welcome-cookie?
  22. Hoid isn't the writer of the Ars Arcanum, I think someone worked out a while ago that Khriss is.
  23. No idea, could just make it really thin so it does though. Or change the edge into a blade as its about to hit someone. Or have blades embedded in it. Plenty of solutions. Or just turn it into a Shardwire, grab one end, stretch it out really far and have someone else hold the other end or anchor it into the ground and just run on either side of an enemy troop, killing all of them.
  24. On that point I'm a fan of the idea of using a bola. Throw it through a crowd of enemies and sever all of their spines.
  25. Distribution of force is why the surface matters, it creates opposing forces that restrict movement. The idea is that the projected force would act exactly as though your body were pressed up against the surface of the coin, rather than the single line of force between your center of mass and its'.
