Oh people are always ragging on cookies, but who should you trust, the people trying to prevent you from eating delicious delicious cookies? Or those who are kind enough to give out cookies that give their consumer magical powers? Anyway, welcome to the forums!

Depends on the spike, we don't always kill donors. Or use people as donors.

Alternatively making an Aon out of a god metal may do something, given that the material used doesn't really matter at all I doubt it would but it's possible.

Random Stuff VI The Return of the Admins

Well you win for now... But I'm pretty sure that any of our children will start reading in utero so it won't be long. -
You didn't edit it. Well I suppose there is that.

Maybe one day, but for now I believe I retain my rightful throne of having the most needless number of Epic profiles. I could (And indeed have) populate a city with them. In this particular situation I think you have good enough reason that the others will excuse some minor pyromantic proclivities.

You intend to grill a steak on the fire to reward me for being so correct?

Steris > Wayne. That is all. *Skips away while cackling*

Does someone in your family have coeliac? Otherwise there is no excuse for such horrendous torture. -

Clickbait lines for my essays -Scientists discover insane new secrets buried within the genes of wheat ... Ok, I'm out. There's only so many ways you can make wheat genetics sound interesting. -

Not sure if 'Retroclog' was deliberate or a typo but now my mental image of Backtrack will always contain this as his footwear: -

We're not even sure how he managed to get negative messages, the only person who ever views his profile keeps saying that she doesn't like him or anything though. -
He could turn them into Zebras so they all crashed into each other but that would probably make the problem worse. *Puts thinking cap on* I suppose he could turn their cars into flocks of pigeons, or turn the drivers into drivers just as impatient as the people they were previously holding up. Or he could turn their loved ones into turtles and threaten to eat them unless they obeyed sensible driving speeds.

To be fair that one may have been weighted in my favor, I get social anxiety in large crowds and slow walkers make me feel like I'm being boxed in so I have spent many hours devising cruel and unusual punishments for them.

"Publication of Steelheart = before time began" - Warriormark16 2016 I'm sure it will not be a surprise that I crafted an Epic specifically to punish slow walkers/drivers. The Turtler Primary power: Human-animal transmogrification, uses his ability primarily to transmute people who crowd sidewalks or malls while walking slowly into turtles. He occasionally then eats them.

Might not, but it could. It's unlikely that a Shard could Invest enough in Scadrial to be affected by it's focus without Harmony's knowledge, so I believe that any Shard could create a physical embodiment of their Investiture in metallic form.

I was drafting profiles before the emperors of Rome or the Pharaohs of Egypt. I crafted my first Epic while the fiery pangs of the universes birth were still just a distant possibility, when 'before' and 'after' had no meaning and time itself was still a distant unknown. I glimpsed into the depths of eternal abyss and therein discovered the first Epic. In short: I have a lot of Epics.

Telepathy is tricky, since the writers often don't know what a character is going to do until they do it it could create some plot holes, same reason we don't have much in the way of precogs other than just a danger sense. I have several thousand at this point, although they're spread out over a few files. Challenge accepted.

Technically the quote is that the Shard is one that we know of. Not necessarily one we've seen. There is also I think an old WoB that there is one Shard that just wants to be left alone, which potentially could classify as us 'knowing of' that Shard. Though given that the only thing we know about it is that it wants to be left alone that makes it rather unlikely that it would interfere on Scadrial. Another potential though is that Odium made the metal but gave it to an agent, staying on Roshar himself.

Weirdly I think I might, the name sounds familiar but I don't place dibs on most Epics I make.

I saw this in the Epics thread in the Reckoners subforum, I do like the idea but it does make it hard to fit him into an RP. Astoria is the usual place to recommend but with such a limited PI I'm not sure how long he could reasonably last there. Salem could work I suppose, but it's been pretty slow lately.

Sort of, most of us don't have eye-spikes though, those things just get in the way most of the time. The Dark Alley is a place where like minded individuals and practitioners of science can experiment without being impeded by things like informed consent and morality. Come visit us in the social guild section sometime.

It'd be very difficult to co-ordinate but I imagine there'd be a few very practiced hitmen who trained for it who might be able to pull it off. Ad a third person in an elevated or lowered position (Higher floor, hiding in sewers, etc.) and you could get even more angles, essentially you'd get an area that looked something like a p-orbital.
