Epics are harder to affect not impossible, and as mentioned, his ability is strong, but yeah I was planning on that coming into play at some point.

With some difficulty? I mean its literally impossible to lock him up inless he wanted to but hypothetically speaking he could call the guard and just steal the key.

Nope its strictly limited to letting him do whatever he wants. He could make someone eat a sandwich but it would be pretty difficult. Hed have to physically make them do it.

Because of the time difference, it means we know that his appearance at Purelake was around 300 years after he was alive in the original Mistborn trilogy.

He'd be more befuddled than angry, he doesn't remember people not just letting him do whatever he wants so it'd be rather confusing.

Name: Dylan Fox Primary Power: Acceptance, an extremely powerful but limited form of mind control, any action that Dylan takes is completely unapposable by those around him, this ability has no known limits or range, he has walked up to people and shot them in the face without them making the slightest attempt to stop him. This ability extends to him living, no one has so far been even able to think of a way to kill him as his power immediately takes effect. He is completely vulnerable to accidents or any danger caused by anything non-sentient but no one has been able to exploit this. Appearance: Extremely young, while Dylan is now a teenager of fifteen, the slowed aging of Epics has left him looking to be twelve or thirteen. He has short brown hair, bright blue eyes and a face full of freckles. History: Dylan was one of the first wave of Epics, Rending when he was only six years old, he murdered his family with no resistance but has since done very little that is typical of Epics. He neither needs to show off or threaten with his powers, he simply takes and does whatever he wants. His young age and uniquely powerful ability have led to a very twisted personality, he is not deliberately cruel but is completely unaware of the consequences of his actions and lacks any level of empathy for others. The plot would largely be told by those around him, I'd rather keep most of it secret in case I do decide to use it but it would be largely about peoples reactions to him, some trying to take advantage of him, some trying to minimize the damages he does, some hating him but being unable to do anything about it.

Chaos changing his avatar, isn't that one of the signs of the apocalypse? Chaos: Simple, lots of espoused theories (Which I always like) and amusing. 9.425/10 Delightful: Short, rhyming, generally good but I feel like it doesn't really say much about what you do on the Shard 8/10

Just had a weird moment where an entire character and plotline came into my head, and I have no idea where I would put them.

Pretty sure someone's repeat voting somehow, it's too regular to be anything else. They're not moving forwards in massive amounts, just steadily.- 1963 replies

Plus while they might not pass beyond the final gate, best case scenario is that they end up as Greater Dead, probably some of the greatest admittedly but they're not getting back to Life anytime soon and they'd be capable of being bound by an Abhorsen. Also even if Sabriel were assassinated, she is a necromancer, she doesn't have to die if she doesn't want to. As long as there's no Abhorsen to take her place she's kind of obligated to not die.

Technically we can't even say it began as a singularity, we can say what it was an infinitesimal amount of time later but what happened at the moment of expansion is something of a mystery. (Or at least it was last I checked, and I feel like I read enough science news websites that I'd know if something had changed. ) My problem with Kalam is that a lot of people who invoke it as an argument tend to give it a conscious spin, with the word cause sometimes being swapped out for a term like 'reason', it's human nature to want to attribute a conscious mind to everything, we give names to inanimate objects, out best literary works frequently ascribe emotions to natural phenomenon like fire, wind, rain or thunder, we get angry at things that have no will, kicking a chair just because we bumped into it, hitting a computer because it's not working. This mindset is great for survival, less great for scientific reasoning. Thinking that because something must have happened that someone must have wanted it to happen is in my opinion the reason that the Kalam argument is often used as evidence of a specifically conscious mind rather than a simple physical cause.

I now choose to believe I live in the Stormlight Archive too, it's Australia, we already have massive deadly plains of cracked earth, horrible dangerous monsters and weather that can destroy you.- 1963 replies
