To follow with this @Extesian and move it further then if in fact there is liquid dor and connection about then the Dor is not so distant for a practitioner of ChayShan. Thuis if someone like Shuden makes his way to Roshar with a vial or two and ChayShan is available for use.
Granted, but you catch a massive cold which makes you incapable of enjoying the taste.
I call upon the powers of the nightwatcher to fulfill my boon. I wish to be able to speak every language in the history of the world.
Granted you receive an imaginary friend who only you can see or hear which drives you insane.
I call upon the powers of the nightwatcher to fulfill my boon.I wish that no one will ever have a bad thing to say about me.
Granted you become a Kandra, but you are locked in an escape proof cell.
I call upon the powers of the nightwatcher to fulfill my boon. I wish to be the king of Roshar.
If the Ire could hack the dor it is not a stretch that in the cognitive realm a practitioner of ChayShan should be able to do it as well. It is not my contention that chayshan would be powered by stormlight rather the dor would be accessed and used.
Granted you now know the definition of the word truth though you have lost the ability to speak the truth.
I call upon the powers of the nightwatcher to fulfill my boon. I wish for the ability to set reality when i speak.
Even the Heralds would have needed to get the knowledge from somewhere. I suppose that it is possible that it came to Roshar with Tavanast and that he in turn turned that knowledge over to heralds.
That is a fairly good point. If they didn't have any idea then they could never soulcast it. The most logical conclusion is that worldhoppers brought it to roshar and perhaps even taught the ardents/humanity what it was in order to replicate it.
Knowing marsh it would hardly have bothered one way or the other. It is also possible according to the coppermind that had they been coated in aluminum it is theorized to stop the break down of hemalurgical spikes.
I don't think that it does because the complexity of a possible resurrection is such that it would not be common even if the steps were known also Kelsier was one of a kind type of crazy person.
this assumes many things 1) that you would be able to combine the armor in such a way. 2) that spren can combine in concert to form a single blade which can be wielded by a random KR.
