  1. Next person to lose has to tag chaos!
  2. "Well you'd have to be supervised of course. My brother is down there and he'll make sure you don't try anything" @MacThorstenson
  3. "Come on Max, call me Devaan." He told his pupil "I understand the screams. But you can't submit to them. You can't believe what they say." Devaan closed his eyes, he heard the faint whispers in the back of his mind. "But you can't fight them either." "Remember them. Face the voices. Don't submit to them, but accept them." Devaan led Max to the far wall. The most recent face painted on it had a brown square over it. It was Mara's. "This, this is our burden." He told Max "But It's something we can take. Something we can face." closed his eyes for a moment, a glowing white sword appeared in his hand. He handed Sethramir to Max. "Together." he told Max. "Do not relish in death. That's not what Reshan would have wanted. That's not what Mara would have wanted. Every time you kill, remember the person they were. Think back on them. I understand you must hate me now, and I'll let you leave. But please" "Before you murder. Look at the blade. Ask yourself if it's necessary to kill." "Know that once you make the decision, there isn't any going back on it." Devaan Sethramir whispered in his mind. You know what this means, right? You know, you may have to kill him, too. Devaan let out a small sob, and walked out of the room.
  4. I should have clarified this. It's directly after the great game. But 5 months after the post before that. Where Devaan went to war. "The calming aons are suppressing the voices. I know, I made that helmet for a reason. This room has it's own calming Aons if it get's too much, I'll turn them on" "Look at the faces on the room. If I didn't exist, each person here would have lived a full life. The red X's are people I have murdered. The blue circles are self defence, and the brown squares are deaths I had caused through my actions." Devaan looked around the room "That explains why it's a secret." "Now. Please, Max. tell me what's wrong."
  5. YES
  6. I think we should focus on protecting the influential player. Maybe put a lurcher or smoker on Orlok for the night? About CadCom's death, It looked a lot like a random lynch. People bandwagoning. I agree with @Young Bard, CadCom didn't seem that suspicious to me, but I play ToS, which is pretty different. Now onto the RP *** "Ah hell." Severance looked at the newspaper. His first thought was to get out of dodge. He wanted the money, but he wasn't a fan of risking his life over anything. His second thought was that he just had to be extra careful. Make his own food and whatnot. He needed that money more then anyone else in the room. He had a reason for it. He liked money. Severance paced around the small one-room flat he was renting for the contest. His eyes darting to under his pillow where he kept his terringul. firearms were hard to sneak into the city with the checkpoints, but he had managed. They wouldn't kill a kid, would they? Severance asked himself Nah, they would. You're fair game mate. He replied
  7. So we are time-skipping to five months later, after the great game. Devaan stopped his sparring match with Saraha "Good job, you hit me with a couple of your daggers. Take a break for now" Devaan walked towards Max. "We need to talk. Come with me." Devaan led him to his room and tapped his weight exactly, causing a sensitive pressure plate to open a hidden door. They entered it.The room had pictures of people drawn into three of the walls. crossed out in different ways. Some had red X's on them. Some had green circles and still some had brown x's. there were hundreds and hundreds of them littered around the wall. "I see the signs kid. Take off your helmet or deactivate the calming aons" he asked softly. @I think I am here.
  8. "We do have some security around and about, there are other guards of course. But the hall and tomb are mainly for the people. As for the recovery of belongings, the deceased have to let us (or anyone nearby) know in advance who they bequeath their personal belongings. During the seven day way, many died, but lots didn't have wills so their items are available to the public if they don't have any identifiable next of kin." "We try too keep our security subtle. There isn't a need to rob a tomb, most of the things here are just personal belongings" "We had the tombs built on site, then brought the corpses through single file. It took a couple days, but that's alright."
  9. "You could call me that" He grinned. "Ask away." *** Astiel, one of the sentinel guards scanned the room, alert for any intruders.
  10. I'm not a fan of voting without any information, so I'm going to Abstain for now. (If I can't abstain, I'll go Count Olaf/Ookla of the squids) Now for some RP "I'll pick a card!" Severance called to Kalfaix. Severence had wandered in through the front door after picking up the elendel daily. Interesting fuss about hemalurgists in this group.
  11. What do you mean by obituaries? are there any guidelines for it? Is it like ToS' last will system?
  12. "I'm a mistborn, a dust bringer and a bendalloy ferring. Am I allowed to modify the coat?" Astiel Asked.

    DIDGERIDOO

Devaan smirked as Max spoke. "Fight'n Kill'n and survive'n" he muttered "You ever fought a stranger, boy? what about kollosal? a chaos marine? You wouldn't last four seconds against any of em, not even with those fancy nicrocil bands you have" "Actually he's already payed" The waiter told Max Devaan let out a cackle "A quick hand slipped a note in, eh?" "Whats't say?" Devaan quickly appeared behind Max. "ooooh! the canton! you been summoned there or somethn'? I think you have I do! I best be goin" Devaan stumbled out of the DIDGERIDOO and tapped his nicrocil ring and teleported to the canton, dropping his disguise when he got there.
  14. Astiel put on his SNAZZY coat on. "You don't need any information on my abilities? Ok then. Can I get some slots for metal vials? I can't see any on it."

    DIDGERIDOO

Oh Max. "The nightwatcher's woods ain't a place for a boy, especially not one as soft as a ghostblood" Devaan said drunkenly, lost in the haze of intoxication. Devaan tapped health but didn't drop the act. "So. Boy. Why you want to go there?"

    DIDGERIDOO

"Mara huh?" The young bartender asked "Yeah" "That's that girl who died in the duel? How did you kill her?" "If it wasn't for me, that girl would never have been in that duel in the first place. She'd have been in a nice, comfy home with nice parents." The Bartender stayed silent. "Is it the spren's fault when a dust bringer kills with the surge of division?" He asked "No" Devaan replied "Then why is it your fault that Mara died?" "Because if the spren wasn't there, the dust bringer would have killed anyway" "If I didn't know the girl, she'd still be alive" The bartender stayed silent.
  17. If there's some space I'll join in, I've never played SE before but I've played lots of Mafia and ToS if it's anything like that Severance Greed looked at the newspaper. 'I'm down for the money' He told himself. The 15 year old kid from the roughs wandered his way down the street.
  18. Well maybe not if they make me lose the game. Especially not if I'm following them and they post here. RIGHT @I think I am here.! Revenge is sweet. Even if the person who deserves it did the thing unintentionally. Then it's more like liquorice. Ugh.
  19. Astiel wandered into the sentinel building, "Hey." He said to the sentinel on duty "My dad told me I had to go out and get some work experience. Mind if I join up?" Astiel asked.

    DIDGERIDOO

Devaan stumbled into the DIDGERIDOO and noticed Max there. He hastily disguised himself with an Aon shao he had engraved into his shoulder. He looked like an old beggar wearing rags, a short grey beard grew on his chin. Devaan sat down on the table next to Max and Althea and loudly asked for a drink. "Got anything strong?" He asked the bartender "Whaddaya mean by strong?" "Somethin' strong enough to make me properly smashed in a drink or two" "I'll fetch you some Farpost Whiskey" "Good man" Devaan poured the whiskey into a cup, then muttered a name. "Dreyfan" He downed the first cup. He refilled it. Muttered another name and downed it. He refilled again. And again. And again. Until he had downed a total of twenty nine cups. You really shouldn't drink anymore. His spren told him "One more drink please." Devaan told the bartender. "Who's this one too?" The bartender muttered. "The last person I killed this week" He replied The bartender poured another glass of whiskey. He had gotten sick of wasting bottles so he just poured it from the wooden cask. He downed the final glass. "Mara"
  21. Devaan sat at the edge of a building. Thinking about what happened. He had killed seventeen people to get to Max. Another twelve died trying to loot weakened buildings and rob wounded citezens. 29 people. He killed 29 people today. Devaan did what he always did after murder. He walked to the nearest bar. And he drank.
  22. Devaan watched Max leave, still with his helmet on. He follows in his teacher's footsteps The voice told him "In what way?" Devaan asked, troubled He's not sane Devaan saw the signs too, Max had refused to take off his calming Aons, he had been shaken and closed off. He was wondering what Devaan would think if Max told him about his condition, before Max walked away, Devaan slipped a note into his pupil's pocket. When you're ready to talk, find me at the training grounds. It read. *** Astiel wandered the battleground, searching for anyone in a condition to fight @I think I am here.
