  1. Devaan held one of the daggers in between his index finger and thumb, and held another with his middle and ring finger, when he threw them he twisted his wrist slightly, keeping them flying true despite the award way he held them. They hit the target simultaneosly. "That's how. Stick with throwing one at a time for now" He told her, walking away to practice his own fighting style.
  2. Devaan watched as Saraha finally hit the target's head. "Congratulations. Now hit all of their heads at the same time" He told her. "What! I got it right!" She replied. "Practice till you don't get it wrong"
  3. "Ok. Focus on throwing them first." Devaan showed Saraha how to throw the Tri-dagger, hitting each of the five lined up target dummies, Head, chest, leg, neck and wrist. "Focus on being able to hit individual body parts. When you've learnt that, I'll make it harder."
  4. "Ok. Pick a weapon from the rack, and get two of them. One for me and one for you" Devaan gestured to a large rack of weapons
  5. Devaan opened the door. "You." "Me." "You want to start training?" "Ok. Lets get right to it" "So what do you want to learn. Dueling? Group combat? Assassinations?" Devaan sat down and started absentmindedly shuffling his deck. Waiting for a response.
  6. Silphio watched anxiously. Mara was bleeding out, she didn't have long left before she dies. He quickly contacted Devaan, he arrived back here, explaining what had happened in the training ground. "The twins are barely winning this" Silphio said "Mara might bleed out" Devaan replied "They need a medic" Astiel mumured "There should be one" Devaan looked around at the audience, then looked to the stage. Where was the medics taking the unconscious fighters out? If it got too bad, Devaan would have to step in. He gripped his bladed steel cards. This was the endgame.
  7. Devaan saw the blast coming. He activated his Aon skin and let it hit him. It didn't even move him forward. Devaan said nothing as Saraha collapsed. Shutting the door behind him.

We know. The RP includes all of Brandon's published works (and some stuff not made by Brandon, like WH40K). When Skyward comes out we'll incorporate that into the RP as well.
  9. Stormlight's healing her enough so she can still speak. Irritating. "good night" Devaan decided to go with the simple approach. He took a step back. and suddenly Devaan was standing over Saraha, who was on the ground again. He scored a lighting-fast elbow to the jaw. Followed by another kick, this time to the ribs, sending the girl flying. "We're done here" Devaan told her. "I'll train you. On the condition that you drop the act, swallow your pride and apologise now" There was a cold light in Devaan's eyes. "And don't mention my family again" He whispered to her as he walked back into the house, locking the door behind him. Saraha would be sleeping outside on her first night here.
  10. "I'm going to stop pulling my punches now" Devaan told Saraha. His body became a blur, before she could react, Devaan stepped up and punched Saraha in the throat, immediately following with a kick to the kneecap. Contrary to what he said, he wasn't going at full strength, he didn't want to kill the girl. Just teach her a lesson. "Get up" He snarled
  11. Devaan sighed. His glow faded. "I don't need any investiture for this" Devon's voice was dangerously low. He slowly walked towards Saraha.
  12. Devaan stopped as he saw his opponent trip. "You done with this?" He asked politely "Or do you want me to use some investiture?" His body began to glow silver
  13. A barrier based-punch? Interesting. Sloppy, but interesting. Devaan saw Saraha fall for the feint. He quickly sidestepped the punch directed at his cheek, dashing into her and rewarding her with an elbow to the gut followed by a quick hip-throw.
  14. "Not going to take a weapon? Ok then" A couple of visiting pupils from the main city slowly crept out of the house to watch the fight. Devaan quickly fell into a stance, left foot forward, right hand out. He stepped forward and threw a clear and lazy jab towards Saraha's side
  15. "Are you even strong enough to train me?" Sajua asked "Are you even strong enough for my skill level?" Devaan looked at Sajua. She was cocky and overconfident, but it looked like she had received some training to back up her talk. Devaan let out a laugh. "If you want to spar, let me know kid. I won't use any investiture, you pick any weapon from the rack and we'll start." Devaan took off his coat and walked over to the sparring ground. He didn't seem to have any weapon on him. He smiled at Sajua patiently, waiting for her to decide on the weapon
  16. Devaan arrived back at the training ground. He sat, waiting for the girl he had met in the canton of combat. *** Olra dropped the young girl off in front of the training grounds. "Well that was nice, but I best be going!" She said quickly. She didn't feel like talking to Devaan today. If he saw her she'd have to, so best to avoid him. He talked so storming much. *** Devaan saw Saraha arrive. The frigid air of the peaks didn't seem to bother either of them. "Take a seat!" He called, gesturing to the stone ground. Devaan sat, cross-legged on the floor, gesturing the new girl to do the same "Let's start with your name, I'm Devaan, I've been around for a while now, but you must be confused" @MinatoRising
  17. Olra looked at the card Saraha was holding. It was completely empty besides a faint stylised smudge in the corner. It was an invite to the training ground. "You need to get to the training grounds, it's in scadrial. I don't know if you've been to New Seran before but let's be on our way!" Olra told Saraha, taking the card and putting it in her pocket. She led the young girl to a small, semi stable perpendicularity the canton kept underground. A remnant of a space warp made by Titan during the war. Olra held out her hand and a giant great sword appeared in her right hand, she hefted the shard blade so it leant on her shoulder and then she pushed Saraha into the cognitive realm, jumping in after. They walked to the training ground
  18. Oof. We can still talk about it though! Who do you main?
  19. Oh. He forgot to mention by the way. The region is EUW.
  20. "Prisoner? Nah. I won't do that. You got a place to stay kiddo?" Devaan handed her a card. "Show this to one of the guards. They'll take you to my place if you need a bed and food." Devaan drew a card of his own, King of Boots, transporting him to the cognitive realm, he'd walk back to scadrial on foot. Shouldn't take too long.
  21. Devaan teleported into his room in the canton. He hurriedly changed from his stewards clothes into his normal attire, blue linen pants, grey linen shirt and brown trench coat, he took off his shoes and ran downstairs, bumping into Saraha on the way. "Ah. You must be the one Olra needed me to see. What's your name kiddo?" Devaan asked, letting some of his Terris accent slip through
  22. Devaan, sitting in the waiting room, felt a sense of connection to Olra, one of the guards on duty in the canton. Devaan quickly wrote a note and left it on the seat for Mr Amber. We are currently meeting with another client. We will get in touch. Sincere apologies. And tapped his tia ring, keyed to his room in the canton. Dissapearing.
  23. Didn't Akrasia, Riathor and Devaan fight it during 16YP? that's how Devaan took in a baby pheonix Or did I forget to post that one. oops.
  24. Why not both? I won't have to go as easy on you as last time
  25. Olra looked suspicously at the young girl. She just drew an Aon in the air. the glow was faint, but just visible. "Oh. Another of you" she said in Fjordish "I'm getting Master Sheonar for you now" Olra knew the protocol when random people turned up on the canton's doorstep. Don't let them wander around and get Devaan immediately.
