  1. From the album: Highstorm MTG Deck

The highstorm from the cover of The Way of Kings keeps track of my floating blue mana.
  2. From the album: Highstorm MTG Deck

Kaladin (via the cover of Words of Radiance) keeps track of my storm count. It felt fitting.
  3. From the album: Highstorm MTG Deck

Third goblin token is Szeth. Although maybe he shouldn't be appearing on the battlefield in such numbers... I'm going be summoning like twenty of these at a time after all.
  4. From the album: Highstorm MTG Deck

Second goblin token is a stormform parshendi. This one felt like the best flavor fit, although the art isn't as obvious as I'd like. Turns out there aren't that many fan art images of parshendi.
  5. From the album: Highstorm MTG Deck

The first goblin token is a chasmfiend. Doesn't exactly scream "1/1 creature," but the art is sick.
  6. Thanks Now I just need on-theme Goblin tokens and I'll be set. Never mind, I made some, and posted them.
  7. When you're building a box for your MtG Storm deck and you realize there's only one way to decorate this thing: Also when you spend the whole time making it considering what color identities each of the KR orders would have. Esper Elsecallers, that's my order.

    Ketek desktop

Took the stock image of Navani's Ketek from WoR and went to town with it in Gimp. I think it turned out pretty well.
  9. Anyone else read the play and think, "Brandon just borrowed the plot of The Giver?" Also eat that, Shalladin shippers.
  10. Agreed. I was diagnosed with Aspergers when I was little and Renarin reminds me strongly of myself.
  11. The natural historian in me has decided that my favorite detail was the gumfrems. Because not just greatshells have gemhearts, and not all gemhearts are emerald. This makes it far more plausible that Rosharians have such a large supply of gems even though they seem to break them with regularity.
  12. Not yet. I'd like to make a full cycle of Stormlight dual lands though. That one was fun. I'd assume so.
  13. Last year on Koloss Head-Munching Day, a few of us threw around the idea of making Brandon a set of Cosmere Magic cards. I have no idea if that's a feasible project, but I thought I'd put some feelers out to see how many home-made cards we can aggregate. I've made a few myself on mtgcardsmith.com and I'll try to add them to this post.
  14. I think Aether probably could have been fixed fifteen years ago, but Brandon has spent that whole time cannibalizing it. I spent the whole time reading it going, "Hey, that's from [fill in the name of Cosmere novel]"
  15. The transcript of the signing is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1o_-OadmbojDGZqFWls2meynCw4qLBWP-syEeSSgSRQ0/edit?usp=sharing Actual text of the quote (spoilered)
  16. I asked Brandon myself. Sunday afternoon signing here, around the 53 minute mark. Harmonium is an element, not a compound or alloy.
  17. It hit me out of the blue today that I have no idea how snapping works now that Harmony changed it. Does anyone remember a WOB on this topic? If not, I'm willing to bet that it's related somehow to the "cracks" in the soul that are necessary to form a Nahel bond on Roshar.
  18. It's ok, guys, Mormons have long life spans. http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705377709/UCLA-study-proves-Mormons-live-longer.html
  19. We haven't seen a Dustbringer in action yet either. I'm willing to bet they take the cake for pure destructive potential, as far as KR orders go.
  20. I wouldn't be surprised to eventually find him prostrated at Jasnah's feet, begging her to let him into Shadesmar so he can study spren in their own environment.
  21. I'm fairly sure that the Elsecallers fit my personality best. Besides, who wouldn't want to save on airfare? (I go to school in Boston and have to fly to LA to visit home)
  22. It couldn't have existed before that, because Harmonium is a result of Sazed's Intent to form the two shards into one. I was at a signing a few months ago and asked Brandon about it, and he said it's a unique metal, not the alloy of atium and lerasium. So it came into being after the Catacendre for sure. Also, welcome to the Shard! Have an upvote.
  23. Microsoft publisher could do it. I've used it for large stuff before
  24. When you judge every other fantasy author you read by Sanderson's Laws of Magic. Also when any author who does a shoddy job of foreshadowing is ruined for you because Brandon does it so well and their books just don't compare.
