  1. I would love to see a magic system based on Pride. Maybe they have to give out compliments or something.
  2. Google knows my gender, has my age wrong, and it knows that I like music. That is, of course, because I spend all my time on YouTube looking up music videos (the only really good use for the site).
  3. I don't really care much for Ruin (definitely Honor all the way). I have no spikes (don't tell the admins). I'm just named after the original Ironeyes because my natural eyes are grey like his. PS- I didn't get a nickname, what's up with that?
  4. Since all of the original carved Aons in the city won't work anymore, I suppose the Elantrians will have to go around fixing those. Or (crazy idea here) they could try to actually repair the Chasm so that the aons go back to their original form.
  5. My thought was that while the aon Aon is the base, the actual symbols end up as maps themselves, not a bunch of Aon symbols layered on top of each other. Therefore, they only need one chasm line because there is only one Chasm.
  6. Yet again, wishing I lived in Utah (I'm planning to go to BYU's law school, though).
  7. Electrum might fit better...
  8. Depends on which spikes you get. Feruchemical zinc would fit the job.
  9. I'm an aspie too. It goes with the territory– we're all geeks of one degree or another here.
  10. I love the Prydain books! They were also one of my first.
  11. Eye-ron Eye-s. Really.
  12. I've been reading fantasy since I got old enough to read chapter books. I think, however, that my first was the Chronicles of Narnia, around the age of maybe 7 or 8.
  13. I really liked Inheritance when I read it, several years ago. Then I met Mistborn. I'm also really disappointed that I read Eragon before EotW, because of all the things that were obviously borrowed. I still think the magic system is cool, though. I'll read the last book as soon as somebody I know gets it so I can borrow it.

    Mistings

As a hopeful coinshot, I seriously can't wait until Scadrial develops paper clips.
  15. Miles did, but since neither the paranoid Wax nor the also-a-Bloodmaker Wayne mentioned having implanted Metalminds, I assume there's nothing generally known which is safe for even a very hardy individual. -- Deus Ex Biotica Darn. However, in our day and age (when the next Mistborn trilogy is set), we have implanted screws and stuff all over the place. So they'll probably do more implants as surgical techniques get better.
  16. I would definitely go with Cadmium. I'm a swimmer, so not having to breathe for long periods of time would make me a lot faster. I wonder if, on Scadrial, they've developed surgical procedures to implant metalminds?
  17. Fake Sleeping I can trick anyone who doesn't know me into thinking I'm asleep. Works pretty well on long bus rides. Extreme Ignorance I can zone out anything. And I mean anything. I think it's related to that dual-track brain thing some people have. Selective Reading I've been known to read right past bad words in books and not even notice them. Helps a lot, since I don't really want such words rolling around in my head anyway. Silent Movement Ninja. And I don't even try. And I have that thing mentioned earlier where I can just be there and nobody notices me.
  18. Muse's sort of reminds me of that too.
  19. I'm listening to every video ever posted on YouTube by the Piano Guys. They are amazing, plus I play both of their primary instruments: piano and cello. So cool!
  20. Not exactly cosmere, but I can't even pick up Wheel of Time without getting Journey's Wheel in the Sky running through my head. Edited to add link.
  21. Welcome aboard. One of the senior members should be along any time now with a cookie. And then Chaos will come with a spike.
  22. Yes. Directly after he learns to consciously channel.

    Vin and Kelsier

Is Kell really that skinny? I had always imagined him with a runner-style body, lean but well muscled. Or maybe that's just his strength of personality interfering with my mental image...

    Inquisitor

Don't show that one to any little girls. They might try to kill you, once they recover from fainting. PS: This will shortly become my little-picture-thing-on-the-side-I-don't-remember-what-it's-called-because-I'm-a-computer-user-not-an-engineer.
  25. That's how he goes invisible to spike people.
