The gemstone is just a gemstone, and not a fabrial. You don't need a fabrial to summon or dismiss a Shardblade. You need only to add an ordinary gemstone to the Blade. Fabrials have spren trapped inside them.

I'd choose to be a Truthwatcher. Being able to see the future has so much practical applications in our modern day world. I mean, I'd be able to see future stock prices, make a hell lot of money from gambling and lotteries and from politicians who want to know whether or not they will win elections. In addition to this already godlike ability, I'd have the surges of Illumination and Progression to do fun stuff with. Oh! I just realized something! Will I, as a Truthwatcher, be able to read all of Brandon Sanderson's future books right now? It should be possible, right?

Wayne and Hoid. Listening to their conversation will probably drive me crazy. Though, I would prefer to watch Kaladin and Raoden in action. Those guys are so awesome! Would you rather be a Herdazian or a Horneater?

My favorite Shard would have to be Odium. Seriously, this dude is bad. I mean, things always get interesting whenever he's involved. That doesn't mean that I'd want to meet him.

I'm a secret half-skaa High Prelan. Infiltration of the Steel Ministry was successful. I will try to gather Intel for the skaa rebellion, even it's more likely that they will get themselves massacred again.

Steelheart. I'd be super buff, have invulnerable skin, throw energy blasts, fly and turn garbage to steel. Who you rather be the God king (with your tongue intact) or the Lord Ruler?

Granted. You try to bring the Stormlight Archive to life because you want to bond with Syl and become a Windrunner, but instead you manifest a Highstorm in your house, and we know it can only go downhill from here... I wish to become the Dragon Reborn.
