Doctor Who has always been a favorite of mine. I watched the series in order, watching the classic, then the modern. My favorite Doctor, by far, is Patrick Troughton. But through the modern series, it lost a charm that the classic series had. Exploration. Every season in the modern Doctor Who has had some sort of story arc, kind of shutting out the actual purpose of Doctor Who, which was to show the universe to an eager new companion. Yes, there have been small story arcs in the classic series, but there have been only two seasons where it revolves around one arc, that being The Key to Time and The Trial of a Time Lord. Learning new things and exploring new planets is what it's supposed to be about. Don't get me wrong. The story arcs in the modern series have been amazing, but less about building character and learning. That's one reason why. The other reason is the Doctor himself. (Or because of recent events, herself.) He has had many faces, but there's always something unique about him. It's awesome. Like Colin Baker. His time as the Doctor was short, and sadly, is considered the worst Doctor by some. I personally love his forwardness and brash attitude. There has never been a Doctor that I didn't like. But the flame is dying for two reasons. One is Jodie Whittaker, the Thirteenth Doctor. I don't mind BBC casting her, but her casting has lost support from a lot of the fanbase. My friend has vowed never to watch Doctor Who again, which is sad. To me, thirteen is the number where things start to wear out. I will still watch it, but I don't know what will happen. If we reach the Sixteenth Doctor, I may quit too. It's sad. Christopher Eccleston was brief, but great. David Tennant and Matt Smith were amazing. Peter Capaldi was the beginning. His first season took some getting used to. But by the time, his next seasons rolled around, he was awesome. Now with Jodie Whittaker, I will cross my fingers. If they pull this off, Doctor Who will live on for a while. If they don't, I will pray for their souls.

Elayne Trakand (She's useless!) The Sandbender who stole Appa in Avatar: The Last Airbender (he deserved to die, but unfortunately Katara doesn't approve of killing total jerks who deserve it) Tow Mater from Cars (Why? Watch any of the movies, you'll see) The Minions from Despicable Me (WHY THE HECK DO THEY EXIST??? THEY WERE FUNNY ONLY ONE TIME!!!) Red Young( Shadows for Silence) (what a adfdfdf) I didn't even type a real swear word. He's just that guy. A plethora of characters from Harry Potter who are pointless: Charlie Weasley, Sturgis Podmore, every character in Fantastic Beasts except Newt and Kowalski, Fleur's little sister, Great Auntie Muriel(she deserves a kick in the pants), the Carrows, Goyle, Sirius' mum, the entire cast of Cursed Child, Hestia Jones, Dedalus Diggle, Emmeline Vance, Ernie Macmillan, the Bloody Baron, the Fat Friar, Professor Binns, and Errol. Finally, Veruca Salt. Edit: DANNY HUSTON!!!! (What an ugly actor. He gets on my nerves so much.)

G'day, mates. Rodel is joining the Wastelands. I am taking @Hemalurgic_Headshot's advice and making a nomadic group. They call themselves the Sojourners. Their main area will be the entire Outback, mainly in Queensland and the Northern Territory. But they will sometimes move farther out. And who knows? They may end up in Darwin or Perth. Here we go. The Sojourners: So that's the gang. I very excited to start. First post soonish.

Part Four. Sorry it took so long. Arbitan went for a stroll. He always did, when the weather held up. The sun shined in the sky and a small breeze blew. He greeted people as they passed and stopped once to scold a boy for pickpocketing. I really like this place, he thought. It’ll be a sad day when I leave. He had been planning his departure for awhile. Wax was well known and respected in Weathering enough that he could slip out and return to Elendel. Arbitan bit his lip, thinking about his options. Yes, Wax would cope without him. And Wayne would become useful at some point. He closed his eyes and inhaled some fresh air. Then he continued his way. He decided to visit Drof’s saloon, to pick up another bottle of whiskey. He entered and sat at the bar. Soon, Drof came over, cleaning a glass. “Good to see ya, Arbitan,” greeted the bartender. “Whaddaya need?” “Just a bottle of whiskey,” Arbitan requested. “Then I’ll be on my way.” Drof pulled him in closer for a moment. “There’s been a man claiming he is recruitin’ for a band of thieves,” he whispered. “His name is Barl, and he says he’s a member of the Surefires.” Arbitan pulled back, a little disbelieving. The Surefires were notorious for their brutality. “The rustin’ Surefires!” said Drof. “What if they come ‘ere, Arbitan?” Arbitan put a finger to his lips. “When does he usually come in?” Drof shrugged. “Around eight o’clock,” he replied. “He’ll be right ‘ere, talkin’about them Surefires.” Arbitan leaned back, genuinely concerned. If the Surefires were truly coming to Weathering, they would be in deep waters for sure. He wondered what they wanted. Then, he got up and left, strolling out. He made his way down the street, then heard a cry. “Stop, thief!” Arbtan whirled to see a grungy looking man running out of the general store. Arbitan went into pursuit, pulling out his pistol. The thief turned right, retreating down an alley. Turning to continue following, Arbitan began to burn electrum. Being an Oracle had its ups and downs, but Arbitan had learned to trust what he saw in the brief visions. He saw the thief trapped in a dead end, pulling out a knife. Grinning, he rushed down the alley, turning left. There, he found the thief, nervously backing up. “Stay back, lawman!” he yelled. “I’m a free man.” Arbitan chuckled, shaking his head. “You were, until you decided to steal.” The thief drew a knife. “STAY BACK!” he screamed. Arbitan took a step closer, then another. The thief lashed out, slicing Arbitan’s arm. He froze, and so did Arbitan. Blood welled up from the wound. The thief, scared, backed away warily. Fury replaced calm in Arbitan’s mind as he shot the thief in the right arm, then the left foot. The thief howled in pain. “QUIET!” barked Arbitan. “Come with me. You’re gonna have a nice visit to the jail.” ***** “OW!” he cried, some minutes later. “Damnation, Wax, that’s hurts like Ruin.” Wax tightened the bandage. “It would hurt less if didn’t keep movin’, Arbitan.” he replied. Then, Arbitan remembered what he had learned from the saloon. He grabbed Wax’s wrist. “Wax,” he said. “I have some bad news.” Wax stopped, cocking his head. “Did Wayne get caught borrowin’ apples again?” Arbitan shook his head and chuckled. “No, no, it’s about those bandits they call the Surefires.” A worried expression appeared on Wax’s face. He sat down. “They comin’ here?” he asked incredulously. Arbitan rejected this. “No,” he replied. “Drof told me that a man named Barl is recruitin’ for ‘em.” Wax stood up abruptly and began to pace the room. “How come we didn’t know about this sooner?” he wondered. Arbitan shrugged, which made pain throb through his right arm. I’m gettin’ slow, he thought. Should’ve seen it comin’. He shook off the guilt he felt and spoke again. “Let’s go to the saloon tonight,” he suggested. “We’ll have Wayne pretend he’s interested in joining.” Wax nodded thoughtfully. “Right,” he said. “Then we can take this Barl into custody, and question him.” Arbitan slapped his knee. “Let’s do it.”

This is a song focusing on Kaladin and such. (Called Sound of Honor) Hello, Tien, my old friend I’ve come to talk to you again Because the Stormlight softly creeping Left its seeds while I was hanging And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of honor In restless dreams I walked alone Narrow streets of Hearthstone ‘Neath the halo of a sphere lamp I turned my collar to the cold and damp When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a bright light That split the night And touched the sound of honor And in the naked light, I saw Ten thousand parshmen, maybe more They were talking without speaking They were hearing without listening They were singing songs that voices never share And no one dared Disturb the sound of honor Son of honor, you do not know Odium like a cancer grows Hear my words that I might teach you Take my blade that I might fight for you But my words, like silent raindrops fell And echoed in the wells of honor And the Parshendi bowed and prayed To the Voidbringer they made And the storm flashed out its warning In the dreams that it was forming And the dream said, the ways of kings are written on Urithiru’s walls And sacred halls And whispered in the sound of honor

@Voidus Two questions. 1. Does the Wastelands RP take place in Australia? 2. Can we add a character to it?

One fine day, I, Rodel, was working on an assignment in class. After I finished, I began to read Warbreaker for the infinitieth time. It seemed to be cool with the teacher and all, until he got up, walked to the front of the classroom and said, "<insert name>, you cannot possibly know everything about this class, and if you do, why are you taking it? Put the book away, please." WHAT THE HECK?? I FINISHED THE STUPID ASSIGNMENT! CAN'T I READ?? WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE WORLD?? $%@# YOU, TEACHER!!!

I will edit that spot. I'll be more careful next time. It will be a police report. I will PM you about what powers augment when. Your concerns will also be addressed. I do have a non-Epic character ready for Corvallis, but he will come later. Don't worry. I'll explain everything. I appreciate everyone for liking Arthur, but he's in The Dalles if you want to see him. (I did do a short intro post for him.)

Hey all! Rodel here. Today, I'm reviewing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. (SPOILERS) Okay, so basically everything you loved about the first one is back in this one. The only difference is that Groot is now Baby Groot. And he's a toy ad. But that was fine. Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Yondu, Rocket, and even Nebula are back for another swing around the block. But there are some things that I didn't like. While Drax has a bigger role and more character development, I didn't like all the gags that revolved around him. Sometimes, with Drax, James Gunn went too far. Another thing was the whole gag with Taserface. Yeah, yeah, the name is stupid, but is it that funny? Honestly? No. A joke is never funny the tenth time you hear it. I also didn't like how everyone made fun of Mantis. She is actually a very important character in the comics, and her appearance and demeanor drastically changed for this movie, something that Steve Englehart(the creator of Mantis) did not appreciate. On the other hand, I loved Yondu. His character in the first one was good, but this one really let him shine. Then the ride was ruined. But Yondu's death is one done out of love and shows us and Peter how much Yondu cared for him. My favorite scene was definitely when Yondu, Rocket, Baby Groot, and Kraglin break out with Yondu's arrow. My favorite quote was *drumroll* "I'm Mary Poppins, y'all!" If there was a hidden gem in here, it was Yondu. Ego was very different for a Marvel villain. I actually really liked him. He and Peter share some tender moments that I liked. Then Peter finds out he killed his mother and everything changes, just like that. It was pretty sad to see that, but I was expecting it. Ego is a villain in the comics. You can't expect them to change. In all, I loved this movie. The visuals were spectacular. Awesome Mix Vol. 2 was even better than the first volume. And it's a great ride. Those are my thoughts. -
Hey, thanks for the welcome! Sorry about the jump. You guys can finish the day and the incident(post) with Shattered can be as you said, 'isolated'. Hopefully, I didn't screw things up.
