  1. I found another bit that definitely does every thing we need it to do regarding the economy. We could easily use it. But it raises the same issues that stormblessed raised about using a discord.
  2. If you like cookies, you have found the right place.
  3. "Thanks! I need to run this through a few tests back at the shop, but once I do we will be able to start selling immediately." Putting it in his robes pocket, he notes "You may want to re-calibrate your wrist. Its running behind." He then sits back and continues to not so subtly watch their conversation.
  4. His game having wrapped up, Mac walked to the nearest restaurant. Hopefully they are supplied by the DA. Why would you stick that into yourself? Because it gives me magic powers! Your eating the souls of innocent people. Shut up. Unfortunately, they didn't support hemalurgic cookies, and neither did the next restaurant. But, it was getting late and Mac wanted food, so he settled for an inferior restaurant. As he walked in, he heard septimus say "not a threat..." to Rhazien. Huh, it looks like he wasen't content with the spikes or the aons, what is he up to? Mac sits down at a table next to them and eaves drops on their conversation.
  5. I think that there will be an initial starting amount of crysts per person. The bank will give interest on money that is kept in it. Everyone will start with an initial amount of crysts, maybe 100 or something. Their guild will start out with nothing, but the guilds can collect dues from their members. Pricing's will be determined by the amount of crysts people have. If nobody can buy things, then shops will either have to lower prices, or cater to a more expensive crowd. I think that there will be a problem in terms of money laundering, but that won't be the banks problem.
  6. I think that it should be individuals who set up the account, and guilds also set up a second account. Guilds can't pay members. That way we remove the issue of people who belong to multiple guilds.
  7. Actually, its leader would only need to never have any allegiances ever. they could have help, but they would need to just double check the work done. that could easily fit with the system tineye just made up. I think that the bank should be controled by guilds that have a primarily economic motivation, because they have the most motivation to keep the system going.
  8. I'm going back and forth on whether or not the currency should be a commodity. The thing is, having something like those won't promote economic mobility. Steelpushers would have to keep track of their coins during fights so that they know how much they have to spend, and whether or not colors are bright, or gemstones filled, could affect the value. I think it would be better to have something of no value to each magic system. As to who should do this, I'm not to sure about the liebrary. They are motivated by other guild things. Who ever is chosen should be solely motivated by the Money. That was the issue with having unbiased. they had nothing to do, and they had no motivation to be unbiased.
  9. But in the three other shard worlds the money has no impact on the magic, so i think that to avoid biasing the system towards any one power, we should make it not useful to any system.
  10. I would say that we use crysts. A crystal coin with engravings on it. That way they can’t be used by allomancers. I think the biggest question I have is, do we trust everyone to not say they have more money then they actually do?
  11. nah, we make sure all the orators vote for the well connected, and the coinshots hit the thugs. If nobody else uses their abilities, then we have a glorius bloodbath.
  12. He is saying that if everyone placed a vote on one other player, so everybody had exactly one vote, we could have a mass lynch!
  13. Would you guys in the RP be supportive of establishing a monetary system in the RP? If so, what do you think it should look like?
  14. Oh crap. Oh crap oh crap oh crap. A house war? Now?! Malcolm hurried through the streets, avoiding peoples eyes, paranoid that an assassin was going to stab him. I wasn't prepared for this! Why couldn't things be like they were back home. Where you knew where you stood with people. No politics, or anything complicated. He ducked into an alley and ate a cookie to calm himself down. Take a deep breath, all of those stories you heard about politics in luthadel probably aren't true. I mean, sicking the Inquisition on entire houses? That's ridiculous. You can do this Malcolm. You got this. This whole thing will probably blow over in a few days anyway. EDIT: @Straw what happens if the vote for a lynch is tied?
  15. so what your saying is, I was right and the Ghostbloods are still in existence.
  16. Also, I thought the GB's were disbanded.
  17. Facepalming. Mac turns toward the door and begins to fix it. "Is there any way to change that to target only certain sizes of metal? so that we can avoid situations like that?"
  18. Walking over to Kidpen, Mac says: "On second thought, Maybe I will be able to be able to achieve that. I remember certain things from my youth that I may be able to utilize. Tell, me which Aons would you like? I believe that for a higher price I may be able to engrave a looping Aon program that will repeate continuously and use a variety of Aos, Namely, Are Dao Dio and Iir, What do you think?"
  19. Getting annoyed at this guy who kept on bothering him, Mac tosses him a sheet of paper with a few of the simple Aons on it, specifically Aon Aon, Aon Edo, Aon Ire, Aon Rao, Aon Sea, and Aon Shao. "Draw these. Draw them hundreds of times, thousands of times. When you have mastered each and every one. Then come back and I will give you a few more."
  20. I am sorry, but Aons need to be continuously powered the entire time. If you are not an elantrian, you can't provide that power. We could set a time limit and make that Aon expire in that amount of time, but I'm not sure what that would have on the lenses. Though we could fit them with a pair of augmenting fabrials to increase their strength. That would require a constant stream of stormlight. We also have put up many new product, just now, check them out and see if they have any interest to you.
  21. Depends on the item. The method we use for writing can vary, often, forging the Aon into the item as it is being made is preferred. size and complexity is also a factor for custom jobs like this. What do you need engraved and what Aon do you want? PM me if you Dont want it public. Do note, that you need to be elantrian to use Aons. Just because an elantrian made the Aon doesn't mean that you can use it. We apologize for the limited selection of non Aon items, we will be expanding it very shortly.
  22. Walking over to Esha, Mac says proudly "Actually, we make all products on site. The reasons costs may be high is because of the extensive help required to make those. Channelers aren't common, and among those, the ability to make weapons using the one power is rarer still. I have considered making a partnership with them, but the main reason why my products use sellish magic is because I have the most experience using that. I intend to gain more experience and the other craftsmen have a variety of experience that I hope will increase the variety of our inventory." EDIT: Sorry for double posting.
