Macs eyes rose during this entire speech. This was a big deal. Mac's eyes rose during the speech. Voidus didn't lose control often, but when he did it was a mess. Mac started bringing alleys close by for the denizens to escape. If he waited until Voidus lashed out, then he would take all of their ability to manipulate the alleys. They would all be dead, and while that would be interesting, it would not solve the problem. Just when the cold wind reached its peak Mac reached to trigger The Contingency, but then the wind died down and everything returned to normal. Mac let out a little sigh. It would not be good for Voidus to die. Voidus looked toward them, then said "Might have gotten a little carried away." "No might about it, but no one died, so we are all good. Except for Mackck strain 15 #04956. He's dead as a doorknob." Mac glanced over at the petri dish that held Makck strain 15 #04956. Due to the miniature size of his spikes he was not unscathed by the Voidmaking. "But it's alright, we have other Makck's. They are just amoeba. Incredibly invested amoeba, but still amoeba." He turned to look at the Stranger as he started to talk. He gathered his thoughts. Then started to tell them what he knew. "I will start at the end of your questions, even though they are technically addressed to Voidus, I can lend some insight. I have snapped into Voidmaking, and I know the theory behind it, but lack practical experience, I am trying to learn as fast as I can though." Mac's tone shifted as if he were giving a briefing. This was what he was good at, delivering intelligence. He could do that. "If my guess about who the new organization is is correct, Sudiov would not be in league with them. Sudiov is, to the best of my knowledge, a splinter of Voidus' power that has aligned themselves with TUBA. He has been sieging the alleys, and any DA members who leave the alleys are weakened to a normal persons level of strength.Voidus has been Keeping him off of the alleys, but our operations have been relatively limited. They are roughly equal in power, so neither is able to gain the upper hand. I imagine that if you have snapped into Voidmaking, the both of us can help Voidus in overwhelming Sudiov, but for now we need to focus on this other group." He paused for a moment, thinking about how Sudiov would be impacted by this use of the Void. "Voidus, would Sudiov also notice this? How would he react? As to the guilds, I guess the easiest way would be to look at the money. Off the top of my head I can't recall the specific figures, but I know that generally there are only a few guilds who have the resources, desire, and unaccounted money to pull of something like this." The craftsmen haven't built anything recently that could affect the Void, TUBA's financial records are clean as snow. The Ghostbloods could have caused it. Trident manufacturing could be involved, but I doubt it. None of the other groups except the new plasma thingy and the GB's have resources or desire to do anything like this. Mac frowned, and started removing a few of his spikes until he was left with the One Power spike and the super raspberry blowing spike. The competing identities got in the way of his thought process. Yes, the plasma group could have caused it, so could the Ghostbloods. Trident could have as well, but they were so close to the GB's that it was almost indistinguishable. The GB's money was the only money really unaccounted for, even then their secret projects were accounted for, and none of them fit this profile. "I would investigate the new plasma group first and the GB's second. We know the least about the first group, in fact they just had a public reveal a day or two ago. They appear to be science based/research based and they are tight lipped about their projects. They were asking for money to support them. I will try to find out more about them, then get back to you later, but if we are going to attack anyone randomly, it should be them."

That thing turned out to be an intelligent drop bear. This drop bear didn’t like being leaned against. The brute grabbed onto the masked man then summoned his all powerful dropping abilities to drop through the alleys into the void, destroying the man. Once the man was destroyed the drop bear changed the direction he was dropping and then landed where he had started.

Mac watched the coin roll and begin to glow, Could this be it? He wondered. The Stranger stepped out of the light and began talking. All of the words that he was saying were drowned out by Mac's internal screaming. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!!!!! HES BACK AAAAAAAAAAAH! Mac started breathing deeply, Keep it together man. Don't Embarrass yourself, you got this. Keep calm. The Stranger proceeded to, in less than three seconds, use a variety of magics to completely contain someone. OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH. Breath in, breath out, You got this. Mac spoke up, his voice carefully controlled. "If you don't mind sir, the DoCI can take him off your hands. As to where we were, I believe that Voidus has received special information that could require the full force of the DA behind it." Internally he slapped himself. He should have set up better security, now the DoCI is going to look useless. @Voidus

Hmm. Interesting. "Thank you, that clears up a lot of stuff actually. There are a few things that we don't like to mess with, because they get annoying, but I think that whatever Plasma core has done, they have drawn the attention of Voidus. And that is never a good idea. I think that we are about to gain some insight during this meeting." Mac turned his attention to the coin, his eyes wide with wonder. "As to the coin, I would hold onto that. I would suggest that you never lose it. The stranger is the smartest man I have heard of, and its likely that that coin is one of a kind. I can help you try to discover more about its functionality, but you should keep it. As to why its hot? I would imagine that if the heat predicted danger, then I'm surprised that you are not on fire." He chuckled, then glanced around at the other denizens. "This is quite possibly the most lethal gathering in all of the history of the multiverse. I would watch yourself. Good spies are hard to come buy these days, I would prefer it if you didn't die. Thank you for your report." He turned his attention back to voidus who had appeared to make a call to someone on a fabrial device.

"Yes it is. Something big is going to happen, and I figure that before we make this announcement I should get a report from you about how the party went. I think they might be related." He paused, glancing around at the throngs surrounding them. He estimated that they would still be waiting for a while for everyone to arrive. "Lets have at it. Mac saw Lita slide into the side of the alley and stop. He caught her eye and motioned for her to join him. @ZincAboutIt

Mac grinned. "This is even older than that my friend. This is the first alley ever. This was where Voidus first created the alleys, before the alleyverse was a thing. That way leads to the first universe ever. The other way leads to the second. This is ancient compared to everything. Even the alleyverse."

Mac walked through the empty alleys, sliding spikes in preparation for the meeting. His Raspberry blowing, loud voice, channeling, gold compounding, everything. This was the first meeting in ages. It was going to be interesting. He stopped behind Voidus. If Voidus wanted him to say something, he would let him know. He turned to the Newcomer. "Rekaerb isn't it? Yes. Mac froze Everyone? That hasn't happened in years! This must be big! Sudiov maybe? Regardless of the Causes, he needed to start soon. Gathering the alley's took a while. "As you wish." He said. Mac pulled out his pocket watch and removed the face, revealing a button beneath and a microphone. He pressed the button and spoke into the Microphone, his voice echoing all throughout the alley's. "Everyone, Voidus has called a general assembly in Alley 0. This is the highest Priority, please Make your way there as soon as possible." He shut off his watch and moved to the Alley.

As I said above, a leecher would be unlikely to be able to do that, in theory they could but it would take a prodigious amount of chromium in order to actually negate their powers. Metals have so little investiture that it's realistic for a leecher to make them disappear, making someone as invested as an elantrian or an awakener would take a ton of chromium. an Epic is probably about as invested as one of them, so I don't think it's possible for a leecher to leech a high epic of their prime invincibility long enough to have a sustained effect.

I still want to see his background sorted out, I was waiting to add him until that was fixed.

The issue with leechers, is that people really overestimate their abilities, in various WoB's brandon implies that you need a lot of chromium to leech most non metallic arts things, like you need so much chromium that it becomes prohibitive to try and leach them because you would need to be chugging chromium.

I’m sorry, the GB’s will have to pick a different day. A day where everyone is accepting sweet food items from strangers is clearly the DA’s day.

Thorstein looked around incredulously. “Guys, what are you doing? Yes she’s important, and yes we are likely the only people who can do something about this monster, but we are in no condition to help her, I am the only one who has weapons that can significantly damage the monster, half of us are extremely wounded, cmon! Let’s regroup first then go in for a glorious charge!”

Mac quickly thought over his options. What could he latch onto the most. It would be the lack of control. The thought that someone was going to be able to influence him. He noticed, in the side of his mind, that entering this state of hatred was becoming much easier. As he practiced he could summon the willpower and strength necessary quicker and quicker as his natural inclinations against emotion broke down. When the soothing came he responded. Targeting the soothing itself, forcing it down, turning it into the void. Nothing would be able to influence him. But in order to stop the soothing, he would need to strike at the source. Concentrating on maintaining the Voidmaking, he reached out and visualised the source of the soothing, Voidus. He pictured his allomatic brass and reached out to suppress it. In Mac's mind, it was like casting a blanket over a light. The light was the soothing leaving Voidus, coming to get Mac, and the blanket was the voidmaking. Supressing the light and Voidus' alomancy. Mac let down his original defense of Voidmaking the soothing directly and instead focused all his attention on suppressing the brass. He still made sure not to over do it, as he didn't want to damage anything important. Like his bosses soul.

I meant in terms of points. I would like that to be sorted out, but in terms of raw power they are good. It would be best if you ( @Ark1002 ) refrained from anything involving their backstory until you sorted out the timeline, but Meta is right in that there is a substantial contradiction. It would be different if the GB's had been founded in secret and then revealed, but they weren't. Meta is right in that there is no logical way for a 30 year old to be a member of the GB's if they were bred for the purpose.

Thorstein turned and ran Toward Mutig, pulling out a few marbles and forcing them into the places where he had been wounded, banishing the shadow.

He’s at 85 investiture points and 95 skills, that puts him at needed 30 points of weaknesses. I would ask how much the OCD and hallucinations affect him, like what would be cases where they are triggered and how does he cope with them. Also, how does the timeline workout, how was he bred for the GB’s if he is thirty and the Gb’s are only like 20 years old at the most?
