    I'm going to second this as well. @STINK I know you probably don't care, but I'm sorry that people were finding your playstyle annoying or frustrating. I thought it was really clever and really fun.

As for the issue with Dingo/Ventyl, I don't remember if I commented on this during the game or not, but I am really disappointed in him that he would blackmail a player like that. I do also think that there was a bit of an overreaction in us shrekking him without giving him a chance to come on and apologize. We were both busy at the time everything got announced to the thread and he was eventually shrekked. Which is a very common occurrence for him. Like he's said, it's something that has continually frustrated him, that he often is shrekked without being able to get on to try and defend himself. I can understand that frustration, considering my tendency to die early as well. (I was curious last night and looked at my stats, and I've died in one of the first 3 cycles 16-17 times, nearly half of my games ) In addition, considering I was Preservation, I was doubly frustrated by everything that happened that Day turn. I'd already used my Ultimate Preservation ability. And then everyone uses that extra day to just...shrek someone we all knew was village anyway. I was already feeling like my actions weren't mattering for the village, and the one time I decide to use my ability in a big way, hoping to help the village, everyone just...basically threw it away. I had mostly lost interest at that point, and after that I basically just stopped caring. I just wish we had given Dingo a chance to get on and defend himself. Or at the very least a chance to apologize.

    So, I definitely have a complicated relationship with claiming in PMs. On the one hand, I’m very much all for PM safety. It’s important to not just go all crazy with who you claim to, and you should be strategic with who you claim to. Just because you’re PMing a friend doesn’t mean that they deserve to know your role right away. They have to prove themselves worthy of it throughout the course of the game. On the other hand...I get into PMs with people I know and am friends with and spend about a cycle before I start thinking “Hey, what if I just claimed to them?” And that’s not always the best strategy. Anyway, the point of this is that I think it’s important to be careful with who you claim to and how many people you claim to, but it’s also not necessarily a bad thing to claim either.

    I'm not sure if you saw, but wilson said that the reason Breaker was banned is only tangentially related to this game at all. Other things happened beyond the SE forum, and he was banned for those reasons. I believe the mods even said, at least in the dead doc, that they were not going to force him to comply, just highly recommend that he not throw the game. I haven't heard of the SE mods banning anyone from the games for SE-specific issues, only the greater mods (such as Eric/Chaos, LadyLameness, etc.) banning players for things outside of SE.

    Yeah, no, that's completely understandable. I did have fun trying to disguise myself, but I probably won't do it as much next time around. Unless I end up with more free time for a game like this next year. I should read that at some point. How long is it?

    This game was actually really fun at the start, and I did enjoy a lot of the doc stuff near the end. I'll give some more detailed thoughts later, but overall I had fun! Also, it wasn't until much later in the game that I started picking up on who was who. Besides for Kas. I had him down by like cycle 3, if not earlier. I wonder how many people were able to figure out who I was. I didn't pick up on very many players myself.

    I’ve said most of my thoughts about this situation in the spec doc. If anyone’s curious to hear more of my thoughts, you can read them there. As for what @Gears has said: Breaker easily could’ve won still. In C9, he votes you last minute and submits a kill on you. James was the only one to vote, and on himself, so James dies, you lose your extra life to either the exe or the kill, and Breaker is the last player standing. I can understand not wanting to do this, as it could have felt like a betrayal. But is not the point of the game to betray and lie to each other? Is not the point of the game to try and win? Obviously we want to have fun first and foremost, but if we aren’t really trying to win, what’s the point? Anyway, I really don’t think we need a rule to say that something like this isn’t allowed. We just need guidelines and recommendations about making sure we pay attention to how our actions can affect other players. Like, sure, you and Breaker had a lot of fun doing that ending. But was it worth negatively affecting the enjoyment of the game for many other people? And I’ll be honest: my enjoyment was negatively affected, but seeing the RP you guys wrote was enjoyable at the same time. Anyway, not sure where I was going with this. But...I don’t know. I’m just tired of talking about this.

    Hello all! That was really fun, even if I was dead by the second day! Thank you @TJ Shade for running a really fun game and I am so sorry for all the chaos you had to deal with on a daily basis.

    I so want to play, but I don’t know if I can handle this on top of school right now. I think I’ll sign up for a spec doc right now, but don’t give it to me until the game starts, in case I change my mind before then.

    Those are the months I'm busy (though it should be jan-april @Elbereth ). I definitely would not want to run a game anytime soon. College is way too stressful as is.

    Depends on when you're running it. If it's during a summer, and I'm not running a game at the same time, I could probably manage it. Though if you're looking for someone able to co-GM no matter the time, someone else is probably your best bet. EDIT: Well, this isn't a bad 3,000th post, but hey! I hit 3,000!

    I’m gonna sign up for another MR slot. I haven’t typed up all the rules yet, but it’s mostly just a basic mistborn game. EDIT: Also, forgot to mention: come May through August this year, I should be free to run games and would like to be told if I’m in like the top 5 of a list of people up for running a game. EDIT2: The anonymous Roshar MR I’m signed up for is with me and Drake, not me and DeTess. EDIT3: I should also be on the anonymous waitlist twice, once for the mistborn game and once for the Desolations game, both MRs. This should be the last edit

    What does this even mean? Right now? One of Illwei, James, or Mat. I was a little suspicious of Ash back before I got really busy this cycle too. That one post where they’re trying to figure out who could’ve attacked Connie felt like they were just looking for something to do without helping too much. EDIT: @TJ Shade can we get a vote count?

    I know, that change happened in the time from when I started that post and when I finally posted it. Are we really trying to kill Dannex again? I hardly understand why we did that last time (even if it didn’t work), and this cycle has made me feel even more certain he’s village.

    Guys, the last time I was keeping up with the thread as it was happening was when we were on page 3. I had a really busy day yesterday, and slept in a bit this morning. I literally just got caught up with the thread. Why am I under suspicion? Current suspicions: James (feels like he was pushing too hard for a reason to get Dannex killed), Mat (they’ve contributed, but not a whole lot, helped start both of these random counterwagons), Illwei (they’ve also been apart of these random counterwagons). I don’t really suspect Dannex, but I’d rather not die myself. I’d also prefer to not get either member of the Burnt/Lotus bond killed, because of Burnt is actually a brown like Dannex, that’s really useful. EDIT: Well, in the time I typed this up, people stopped voting for me.
