The second day after the announcement that everyone in Garmet was completely trapped began like any other. People got up, they got ready for their day, and then they went about doing their business for that day. All of the politicians and representatives met in the meeting hall again, today with a new agenda on the docket. What to do about the fact that they're trapped with no railroads back to Elendel, and Elendel being a 200+ trip even if someone began to walk. Yoden found himself distracted during these meetings. Goren, who had so quickly taken charge the previous day, was doing just fine leading the politicians. Oh, there were squabbles between the Elendel reps and the Garmet reps, but that was politics. What was distracting Yoden was that he hadn't seen Isendwel, his assistant, since yesterday morning. She'd woken him up that day because he'd slept in late. Yoden was almost late today because she hadn't woken him up like he was expecting her to. It was at that moment that Isendwel was dragged into the meeting hall by two city guards. She looked ragged, her hair a mess, her eyes wild. Yoden stood up faster than he ever stood up before. "What is the meaning of this?" He yelled. "Calm down, Yoden," Goren said calmly. "I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for all of this." He turned to one of the guards. "Go ahead, speak." The man nodded, dragging Isendwel forward with him as he moved so more people could see him. "This one was found trying to escape the city last night. We searched her rooms and found a bunch of records showing train schematics and times and instructions from someone on what to do once 'the plan was complete.'" There was a gasp in the meeting hall as everyone realized what he meant, and the man seemed to be pausing deliberately to take it all in. "Our investigators believe that she was not alone here in Garmet, based on what they could glean from her notes." There was a frenzied rush of murmurs and conversations throughout the room, but Yoden could hardly hear any of it. Later that day, he would remember that Goren eventually took charge. They executed Isendwel for treason not soon after, and vowed to do so to anyone else they found out was working with the rebels. And so it begun. ~ LG77: A Political Trap has begun! GM PMs will be, or already have been, sent out as soon as possible. Remember that all PMs must include myself and @Young Bard. In addition, I'd request that players label their PMs with LG77 at the start of them, to make our lives easier. There will also be a removal during this Day. There is no vote minimum (though no one is removed if no one votes), and tied votes result in a random tied player getting removed. Player List: This turn will end on Monday, May 31st at 9 am CDT.

Whelp, this is finally going to start soon! In about 11 hours or so! Hopefully no last minute signups mess up the distribution I've started working on

Okay, after talking with Young Bard, we’re going to start this game at the same time as before, just pushed back two days. So 9 am CDT, on Saturday, May 29th.

Well you see, I’m mostly worried about the recovery and less the actual surgery. I have a very low pain tolerance and I still haven’t ever figured out how to swallow pills, so.....yeah. Trying to figure out what to do about that.

*resists urge to use another PAFO card* Elbereth made a bunch awhile back and sent me some in our LG77 PM. Also, that reminds me that I need to make an announcement: my wisdom teeth surgery got moved up to the exact time that I was planning on starting this game, rather than later in the day. So I'm thinking I'll probably push the start of this game at least 12 hours back. It depends on what time works for Young Bard. I should have an official time by the end of the day Wednesday for sure, if not earlier. @Ashbringer @Biplet @Szeth_Pancakes @Lotus @Araris Valerian @The Unknown Order @DrakeMarshall @Jondesu @Archer @Ventyl @Experience @Devotary of Spontaneity @Azmine_king @Mist @|TJ| @manukos @Dannex

Well, basically, in the first run of this game, group PMs were allowed as long as the Tineye was alive. And there was this one group PM where they started only communicating in "shouts," aka in all caps. And they would post transcripts from the PMs in the thread as ways to get RP boxings. I don't remember who all was involved in the PM anymore, but it was really funny to watch.

It means a lot to me that you consider my game to be iconic. Yeah, the Shouty Shout Agency was really fun. I feel a bit bad limiting PMs to just one-on-one this game...but I think it's necessary since this game has a tendency to be really solvable through mechanics alone.

I don’t think so. I mean there’s roleblocks and redirects. Can’t remember how much of those there are. I mean, the way we did it last game is we just checked a box off in the spreadsheet if you’d PM’d once in the turn. Technically all you would have to do is say something like that, though it’s more fun for everyone if you put more effort into the PMs.

Per post. I answered this earlier. I mean...I want people to RP, but I’d also like people to not exploit the rules of my game, so...yeah. And even if you did write a bunch of RP, you’re limited by not being allowed to double post. Yeah, they won’t. If you double post, a mod (probably El) will edit them together at some point.

You only get the boxings at the end of the turn. And buying from the black market is only available at night. Double posting isn’t allowed at all.

If an elim Coinshot existed, yes they could do that. If the Kandra wins, I think that could only technically count as a village win, but no one besides the Kandra would be alive, so is that really a win? So, if someone attacks you while you're storing, even if someone protects you or you have a bulletproof vest or something, you die. Yeah, like I said, if you're attacked while storing gold, even if you would otherwise survive (extra life, protection, etc.), you'll die. ...that was me forgetting to change that part of the rules after I changed the rest of the Bloodmaker role. That should be correct in the rules now. I don't see why not. So, yeah, they can. Yup! I'm not sorry for double posting.

"It's time." The group of three saboteurs all nodded, the plan fresh in their mind. They all knew what to do. ~ The day began like any other, though the construction site and the ship itself were much quieter now that so many had either been dismissed or ended up in the hospital. Praza and the captain had everyone working double duty so they could meet the company's deadlines for the first launch of the ship, despite the unfortunate circumstances so much of the crew had succumbed to. The captain was just about to call a break for everyone to get lunch when he heard a commotion over by the brig. When the captain got there, he saw a large crowd of people swarming the building, all centered around Zara, who seemed to be trying to drag Sixth of Shade into one of the cells. "What in Patji's name is going on here?" The captain yelled. "Zara, let that man go right now!" "But sir," Zara yelled, "I think I've figured it out! Shade has to be one of the saboteurs! He's one of the only ones that makes sense for it to be!" "That doesn't mean you get to abuse your powers and lock up whoever you want! Zara, you are dismissed! Someone get them out of here." The captain turned to Shade. "You. You're going in the brig. I don't want anything happening to you while we're sorting this mess out. Philico," Philico sharply turned to look at the captain, "make sure Shade ends up in there safely." "Yes sir," Philico said, moving to take Shade into the brig, as the crowd dispersed around them. ~ The woman known solely as Bip walked through the construction site, her mind swirling with worries. There was only one person left she had to worry about, she just had to find them. The bystander had kept showing up every now and then, at the worst possible times. Well, it was time to make sure she didn't interfere again. She found the bystander hanging out by the ship. It wasn't hard at all for Bip to sneak up on them and quickly wrap her arms around their neck, cutting off her flow of air to her lungs. The chloroform rag Bip used to cover their face was more just an extra precaution. And the knife to the leg was more just so that she wouldn't interfere if she recovered too quickly. With that done, Bip continued on her way, to meet up with the other two before the final part of their plan was completed. ~ As night began to settle across the construction site, and people began to start heading to their homes, Fourth of Legend made his way to the brig. It was only a matter of time before they sabotaged the brig, and he was glad to be the one to do it. He set the explosives up at each of the most unstable parts of the brig, to ensure that the brig went down for sure. He added a few more, just for fun. Once everything was ready to go, he also started lighting parts of the brig on fire. Then he ran. And behind him, the brig became a b(r)ig blaze of fire shooting up into the sky, lighting up the whole construction site with it's fiery glory. ~ A few days later Bip, Legend, and Philico stood before their employer, ready to give him the news of what had happened. "Were you successful?" He asked them. They all turned and smiled to each other. "You could say that," Bip said. ~ Experience has been dismissed! They were a Crewmember Internal Affairs! Random Bystander has been hospitalized! The Brig has been sabotaged! TJ has been hospitalized! They are a Navigator! Vote Count: Experience (3): Matrim's Dice, Sart, Biplet Sart (2): Experience, TJ Player List: ~ Congrats to the Saboteurs (@Matrim's Dice, @Sart, and @Biplet) for winning the game, and through a complete village wipeout as well! Here are the links to all the docs and stuff: Master Sheet Elim Doc Agent Doc Hospital Docs Dead Doc Spec Doc And I'll be giving my GM thoughts a little bit later on, as I'm sure DeTess will as well. Thank you so much to everyone who played! It was a blast getting to run this game!

Okay, wow, time to go through and answer a bunch of questions I guess. You get boxings per post with 200 words. Yeah, it's cumulative. I'd like at least 20, though I could probably make it work with less, but preferably not lower than 17/18. @Young Bard You did all the math for this kind of stuff last time. Do you remember if you rounded down or up? My gut is saying down, for now. Take that with a grain of salt. Well...that wasn't the intent of the must there. They don't have to use the kill. It's just takes up an action slot, that's what I was trying to get at. Nope. I might mess with the stuff in the story part of the writeup, but take nothing from the story part as indications of what's actually going on. They get their results at rollover. Yes. They just don't have any control over their Pulsed action anymore at that point. Depends on the situation. Roleblocked is easy to just say they were roleblocked. I'd need to see examples to decide whether they're told about other things (I barely remember my own rules :P) @Young Bard I can't remember what we decided here. Do you remember? Who they've PM'd so far, as PMs stay open for the whole game until all Tineyes are dead or one of the players in the PM dies, whichever comes first. Here are the things the Archivist can learn: Role of [player] Action [player] took Who [player] targeted Who targeted [player] For what it's worth, this (and a lot of other things you've asked) are in the clarifications section of the rules doc. Some of those clarifications might not be updated to match the new rules though, so if anyone spots any discrepancies, let me know! Thank you. Honestly can't remember if it was me or @A Joe in the Bush who came up with that role, but I'm taking credit for it now. Players can definitely start with multiple roles, though they will not start with multiple roles of the same category. I think you mean Hemalurgist? If that's what you're asking about, it relates to their victim's role, as that's the one getting spiked. Nope. Again, see Clarifications in the rules doc (maybe I should just suck it up and put those in the first post...). Nope. And for what it's worth, the items in the Black Market will be GM-populated items, until someone sells something. You are correct, it is not cumulative. Yes, it does. As long as you have a vote by the end of the turn, you will receive the boxing. Multiple votes in a turn do not give you multiple boxings, and vote manipulation will not affect your ability to earn boxings. (Soothing might. @Elbereth Do you remember if Soothing affected whether someone got a boxing for voting in the spreadsheet?) You indeed can! I will send you a PM once the game starts with the link to the spectator doc!
