    Hmmm…I think I misunderstood my role ability. So if Bort had been attacked by the skyeels, he would’ve died and anyone who visited him would’ve survived? Or would everyone have survived? Assuming I am a field exterminator, since the thread can’t know for sure until I’m dead. I swear I thought I’d finally figured out these rules when I submitted that order. For what it’s worth, I would say me not understanding my own role is pretty par for the course. It’s NAI. I’ve done it as both alignments, though I think mostly as a villager. But I’ve just had more opportunities to misunderstand my role as a villager. The Reform Spy is the biggest example of this. I do not know who they went after last night. I just got told my action to visit Bort’s house succeeded. If you can’t find it, then it’s probably been merged to the main thread for the game. The one we signed up. We merge the threads to avoid thread bloat in the subforum.

    Just want to say: very confused now. We’re down to 8 players now, 3 of which are probably elim. If we lose this exe, I think we lose the game. So, all cards on the table: I’m a field exterminator. I believe that we can thank me for Bort still being alive. I think. Assuming I understand the rules properly. I’m going to vote for Emulation. I don’t like how quickly they jumped on me after Mat did. Mat’s vote makes sense, but Emulation’s has very little reasoning to it.

    Okay, let's go. I've got this. I should be good at arguing against my death with how many times I've ended up on the chopping block between D1-D3 in most games So, the JNV vote: that came from Archer talking to me in a 1-on-1 PM about the group PM he accidentally made and JNV responded in before we got slapped by the hand of god. I blatantly stole Archer's suspicion because I needed something to work off of and wanted to see what Archer would do about it. The Archer vote: from what I remember, I didn't like Archer's reaction to everything and felt that I was getting e!Archer vibes from him. Like he was trying to be TWTBAW, which he often tries to do as an elim. Obviously, I was wrong. But I thought it made sense in the moment. Liranil vote: I think that it's likely she's an elim, more because of her reaction to the pressure she's gotten today and less because I think she's an e!politician, like I originally posited. I also think that the elim team is Liranil, Stick, and ash's eyes. Betting it right now.

    This post feels incredibly forced to me. Like they're trying to plant a rehearsed idea for what happened. And I suspect that, especially with Archer's death, that whoever the vote manip was is an elim. It doesn't feel like Devo's style to vote manip and last minute vote shift, and I don't think Bort would have vote manipped with what little time he had once he got onto the game. Liranil.

    Archer because I think they might have been pushing a little too hard on them being a villager for doing the PM thing. I know from experience that being an elim doesn't have an effect on whether or not you thoroughly read the rules when a game starts.

    Yeah, I was just also thrown off by the way that JNV is typing and stuff. Especially because I remember from their earlier games some really complex and smart things coming from them.

    Yeah, I know that my drop off the face of the earth has been because of just being really strung out from the past couple weeks. I'm done with school right now, but I still don't know if I could manage a game. Either running or playing.

    I find it really difficult to find votes if I'm running behind and trying to skim through the thread to look for them if they're not bolded. I don't really care where in the post they are, because if they're bold they stand out anywhere in the post.

    A quick fix to this is using ctrl + b to change to bold. At least on computer. It is a little annoying on mobile, but a little annoyance would be better for everyone if it saves the GMs headaches.

    I could probably do it. As long as the game starts next week, which it would have to. I just have to try and figure out what rules I was gonna be using for that slot.... Though I do think I would prefer if someone else took it, as I'm still in school and would probably have to try and squeeze in time to post signups during my finals.

    @Araris Valerian I am offering a few of my skills to you. I could give you the Shield of the Lynch, but I doubt you want that one. I can definitely bestow upon you my perfect vigilante kill record, on the off chance you play a game with a vigilante in it. But I'm sure it would transfer over to any village games as you try to exe people.

    Oh wow I was not expecting this to be over when I came back on to check today. Go village! @Ashbringer thanks for running such an awesome game! And thanks to @Elbereth for helping Ash manage it when things were exploding. Also, @Archer r00d @The Baker Once I realized what you were doing, I was very amused by your play style. I do think, in the future, if you wanna do more bread pictures (which are always fun) you could probably spell a larger variety of words and still stick to the idea. Because it really was very fun to watch. Anyway, this was a really fun game and I’m glad we ended up winning. Good job everyone!

    Would you want to vote for shadow1 instead? I’m of the opinion that every doc is compromised. By at least one elim. And I think I can trust you a bit more knowing you’ve been arguing against that all day.

    I agree that one of the Aman voters is an elim. I think it’s probably TJ though. He seems like he’s standing back a bit, like he doesn’t want to be too attached to this exe going bad. Plus it feels like how he acted when he was an elim in my game.

    Does engaging with the argument mean agreeing with it to you? I have engaged with it. And I disagree. Gonna ignore the second half of this. I think you are ignoring the possibility of someone genuinely misremembering how something went in the doc. Just because someone is an elim and says something that’s untrue doesn’t mean they were intentionally lying or misrepresenting what happened. I am just frustrated and want people to really take a long look at the people pushing me and Aman if/when we flip village.
