Another victory for an elim team of mine where I get exed D1 I am so incredibly proud of both of my teammates. @Orlok Tsubodai you were a huge part of figuring out strategy throughout the game when you were around. And @Kasimir you were freaking incredible and I am glad that I can say we have won both of our elim games together. Oh also, this was my first elim game with Orlok, which is cool! Anyway, thank you @Lotus for running this! I had a blast for the day I was playing, even if I did get exed.

Just so you know, Brandon is also posting the sample chapters on his website. For example, you can read SP1 here: https://www.brandonsanderson.com/first-look-at-secret-project-1/

mafia championship A Knock from Outside the Cosmere

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I want to be able to say that I’ve done this. If I don’t do it this year, I might not be able to do it ever again because I’m going to start getting significantly busier in the future once I start my real job. So I’m gonna accept the nomination- 636 replies

Attempt at making a timeline of a moving people
StrikerEZ replied to Myuken's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Maybe Lumar and it’s inhabitants got completely smothered by the spores. Seems likely since there’s an endless amount of them streaming down to the planet and they have to go somewhere. -

TotES can be when the Iriali have reached the Fifth Land (or Sixth) and Hoid could not be talking to a SotD character. There are many characters that could find a way to survive past the events of SA. We know we'll see more of Shai, it could be any currently living Scadrians that find a way to be immortal, could be Siri/Susebron (who absolutely have access to enough Breath to both reach immortality), could be Silence for all we know. All of this said, however, I really feel like this is pre-Roshar for the Iriali. That makes it much more interesting, to see where the Iriali have come from rather than where they're going. -
Yes, this. In hindsight, I really should've planned better and set up some sort of RNG system for what items would get added to the stockpile when new ones were added. Just another thing to add to the list of changes to be made in a rerun. Whether it's done by me or someone else. Alas, I felt doing that would be a bit much for a game where there were already so many kills. Also, yes, can definitely attest to Devotary being a great IM. And I just want to apologize to everyone about the lack of writeups. This spring break somehow ended up being a bit busier than I thought it would be. Not to mention that my mental health kind of took a nose dive at times this week for no reason. And that all just combined to create a huge lack of motivation to actually go back and create new writeups, especially since I spent most of the creative power I did have available to me this week on the aftermath writeup. Anyone who did death writeups, remind me (either in PMs or on Discord) and I'll edit those back in with Devo's help.

Can't say I could complain if you guys decided to vote Ash instead of me. I'll probably move my vote there on the off chance it'll save me.

Definitely agree with Shallan being shipped with therapy and Adolin and Kaladin being the better ship. Though a love V between the three of them would be great.

Well, I sure missed a lot while I slept and observed my old high school band rehearse. I'm probably gonna die and don't really have the time to do a super detailed response to more of the accusations against me. For what it's worth, I was responding to those more because it felt easier with my limited time to respond to things directed at me. @Kasimir @Matrim's Dice @Devotary of Spontaneity @Archer @Experience @Ashbringer @Mailliw73 @Amanuensis @Bort @Orlok Tsubodai Any of y'all willing to switch your votes off of me/vote for Archer with me? Oh and Devo, I think my current playstyle is just so heavily influenced by the games I've played lately. The MR hardly even counted as a village game because I was faking being a neutral. The last time I was a villager before now was August last year. XD And man I understand how Mat felt D1 of the last MR...>> Oh, and Aman, my current village read of you is from a combination of seeing you in the MR and my LG in PMs, since you didn't post much in my game. Maybe I'm just too used to thinking of you as village in a GM way, since I GM'd you, but I'm still reading you as village. Oh as I'm typing this, Aman has said he might vote Archer...Aman, pretty please? It'd be nice to survive 2 games in a row (which has literally only happened to me once, ever) Also, I definitely thought this cycle ended at noon my time, so like 15 minutes ago, which would've been bad for me, but then I saw people still posting and got very confused. Glad to know I just did my timezone conversions wrong. Experience are you okay? I know you said you are physically fine, but like...mentally?

The second part of this sentence is confusing me. Please explain what you mean by you’re trying to think of how to see that.

…so if villagers can react in any way possible. And you say elims can react in the straightforward way…on the outside, there is no way to tell if a straightforward denial reaction is elim or village. According to your logic here. Which I find fundamentally flawed and proscribing a lot of things about what an elim may or may not do. If that make sense. The slight good read I have of Devo comes from her being helpful with looking at the past game and trying to call out Archer’s change in stance since then. Granted, that is not necessarily alignment indicative, but it feels like a lot of work for an elim to go through. But, like. Why would an elim react that way in this circumstance, or even mention retaliating? As you pointed out, TUA kind of agreed with what Archer was saying, so it's not like he's sus of him. Personally, I would expect an elim to not care about a single random vote (that's just a maybe between 3 options) when they've got 2 other elims to vote alongside them. Feels like a standard Villager-reacts-to-page-1-poke-vote-with-a-poke-vote to me. Hmmm. My thought process was more that TUA would’ve been feeling pressure from Archer and was trying to react to that, but you’re right that he wouldn’t really need to feel much pressure in that scenario. I’ll have to rethink TUA. No, like…Archer and Ash are both players I suspect. If people don’t wanna go for Archer, I could go for Ash. My suspicions of them are independent of each other, even if how I originally got to Ash was through Archer. Does that make sense? To me this reads like Illwei trying to genuinely work things out as a villager rather than being performative. But I’ve also done similar things as an elim. So idk. I think I took your #1 as a stronger stance and therefore felt like #2 was you backing off when you saw the reactions to Archer and stuff. I can see how that’s not really what was going on. And I wanted to get a full reads list in because I feel it will help me later in the game. Gives me a basis to go off of. Assuming I don’t get exed or killed before the end of the game. Which, looking at my survival record, is pretty likely. :/

That’s fair. I’m not sure what this has to do with me. I think the way I was trying to do my RP voice made this unclear. I think it’s odd that Mat backtracked, but not like full elim read odd. Idk, I think it’s sus. Especially because TUA was just an option Archer gave for himself. It’s because I was trying to do it in RP and honestly didn’t have much of a read on Devo. Though my read is actually probably more positive for them than it came off in the reads list. I didn’t think I was trying to tie Ash’s alignment to Archer. Was more trying to say that Ash would be my first person to look at if Archer doesn’t pan out. I mean, I can’t read Thaid. So there is genuine confusion there. I think my read came off more positive than I intended it to. I would rather not be paranoid of you. You’ve been village the past few games, and the way you’re talking now feels like it did in those games. …you were reading her as a wolf for being right about the most likely distro for a 15 player vanilla game? …I knew I forgot to do something. I was barely able to keep my eyes open as I was doing the second half of that post, so it slipped my mind to actually add a vote. Archer.

Vanala could not stand the other women. She sat there, writing in her notebook, while they all talked amongst themselves. They all had such strange ideas for how they should best go about finding these rumored murderers amongst them. At least the men seemed to be more reasonable about. Even if one of them insisted he was a cup. And don't get her started on the strange furry little axehound. She glanced back at her notes. She had been trying to keep track of what people were saying, even if some of it completely baffled her. It was important for her to know what other people were thinking and planning and what they were going to do if she was going to win this. She needed this engagement. Vanala closed her notebook. She was satisfied with her notes for the day. She had attended to some personal manners at the start of the day, but she was hopeful that she could be more focused on the trials for Adolin's heart from here on out.

I understand now! Thank you for catching that!

I’m not sure I see the contradiction. The Lightweaver and Informant both don’t want to die during the main phase. If they survive the main phase and their team wins, the other team gets a shot at them.

I think a serial killer would be an interesting way to do that. Also, I listened to the Bifrost Incident this morning. Really interesting! That was a fun way to experience a story! Also also, in other news, I finished the rules for that Stormlight Archive themed Mafia/Avalon/Secret Hitler game I signed up for last night. I want people's thoughts on it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Rj7Z9_9_O1uyNWQjnOCU0NKuLFMejxJnCaFebVbsGWI/edit?usp=sharing

I kinda forgot she was a sentient cup. And a kandra makes sense. Carry on then.

I like the roles and the flavor text for them! The only thing I'd worry about is No One's win condition. Just a straight up survival role isn't often very fun to play, unless they have something else to do as well. And what happens if they remember and switch to the elims? That means they only win if the elims do, but they don't count towards parity/outnumbering?

A Labrador?? XD

Gonna sign up for another MR slot. It's an SA themed game that's basically a combination of Mafia, Avalon, and Secret Hitler mechanics.
