Nope, I came up with the idea before you asked that question. Like, I think I wrote the rules down at first last summer. The cognitive drive thing was probably subconsciously based on your WoB as I put that in as I was doing the writeup last weekend. Or whatever weekend before I posted the signups.

No idea. Just claims it's a high risk, high reward. From the implications, I think if she gets exed she can kill at least one person who voted for her.

Devo's a neutral role that hunts epics. Can either kill or scan to see if a player is an Epic. My power is actually making it so that any actions hit myself and a target of my choice. I targeted Araris C1, got redirected to Kas. Devo scanned me and got a bonus Kas scan. I think that's the main gist of it.

....now I'm tempted to see why. Though, do you understand how my action works? It's not that I target someone and their actions hit me, it's that I target myself and any actions that hit me also hit them.

It would take some craziness from the three of us that I don't think Devo or Orlok would be okay with. I could've probably come up with it, maybe, but convincing those two to go along with it? Idk man Also hmmm. @|TJ| VC pls?

...I could've sworn that Kas said he targeted me. Did I just imagine that? If so, that's probably because of what I was told in my GM PM. It didn't change, I just claimed something different from what it actually is last cycle. My vote is on Karn right? If we're gonna save Devo, I'll keep my vote there, and would prefer if Kas doesn't target me. My best shot at winning is being on each exe target.

Okay okay okay So I targeted Araris. Got redirected to Kas. Which should mean that anyone who targeted me got redirected to Kas in addition to hitting me. Which is why I assumed that Kas got redirected to himself. Devo targeted me, which means she scanned me and Kas as Epics. Orlok tried to scan Kas but got redirected to Araris, who targeted Kas. I think that's everything. @Araris Valerian Do you have a role that makes it so anyone who targets your target gets targeted at you instead? Seems like a weird version of my power.

In my defense, I didn't do this earlier because I was sleeping and spent this morning getting caught up.

....what That would be pretty fun. Don't know if I'd come up with something like that though. I mean, that's what TJ told me. He did say it was like either an action or a series of actions that led to me being redirected to you. So like...maybe your rioting happened first or something? IDK.

....I even double checked the player list, saw that I remembered the name wrong, and forgot to change it. So, funny story. I had it set to Araris. But got redirected to Kas. Which means Kas got redirected to himself. So he just Rioted himself, which means he just cancelled his vote. See above. Also I could definitely buy that claim Devo.

Nathan walked amongst the people in the camp. "Come one, come all!" He yelled, trying to avoid thinking about how cold he was. "Anyone wanna see a magic trick?" It took him a long time to gather a decent crowd for what he wanted to do. Once he'd finally gathered enough people, he picked out someone from the crowd. "Can I get a volunteer? I have a very prestigious magic trick I would like to show you." No one responded, and Nathan sighed to himself. They still didn't quite trust him, even after he had revealed his nature as an Epic. Most people didn't buy that he wouldn't do something to them at the drop of a hat. He still didn't understand how getting over his fear of the cold had managed to cure him of his insanity, but he wasn't going to complain. He sighed, and pointed at someone in the crowd. "Mordeth, come here. Since no one has volunteered, can you be my volunteer?" After a moment, Mordeth came forward. Nathan steeled himself and touched the man, then let the change take him over. He assumed Mordeth's appearance. Before the crowd could react, he kicked a rock on the ground and groaned. At the same time, Mordeth grunted, holding his own foot in pain. "I am sorry for the bluntness of my demonstration," Nathan said, "but if I'm going to work with you all, I need to be more clear about my powers. And what they do. I tried to make myself appear more dangerous than I really was. I was hoping it might deter the truly dangerous Epics that are surely hiding among us." So, I was not completely truthful with my powers. There were definitely kernels of truth in my claim, but I lied about certain aspects in an attempt to keep myself alive. For clarity: my ability lets me choose a player to mimic, in a way. Any actions that hit me also hit them. To be fair, I assumed it was a bit more like what I claimed, at first. That nothing that hit me would actually hurt me, and would simply shift over to another target. But when TJ told me that I would also be affected, I came up with this plan of claiming a bit different of a version of my powers to try and deter the elims from killing me. Especially because my wincon is a more long-term one, unless I get really lucky. I hope you all can forgive me for this. I had reasons for obfuscating my role, in an attempt to try and stay alive. I am still willing to help the village through the use of my role, I just won't be able to be used as a sort of alignment scanner. Oh also, my action currently isn't actually on Kas, it's on Stick. I just actually remembered Kas's character name, so that's who I used for my demonstration. @Kasimir Hope you don't mind.
