So...if we all become zombies, we win?

Is there anyway you can elaborate on what this means?

But, also talking meta, if we become Zombies, we therefore win as Zombies.

You can thank me for that. I'm starting to rethink my initial thoughts about what to do in regards to the zombies. Maybe it would be for the best if we all turned zombie? I don't think the first post ever stated that we all had to be normal by the time we get to shelter....

I'd like to remind everyone that there is only an hour left before rollover, so you should make your votes and posts now! Okay, @Coop772 has offered to pinch hit for Snipexe! He'll be taking Snip's place from here on out.

Wait, what kind of food do you need? Are brains the only food that will satiate your hunger? Or could we help you by gathering food for you so that you don’t infect us?

Okay, I think it’s pretty obvious by now that this game is like Wheel of Time but with zombies. The voice in the wind is almost certainly the Black Wind from the Ways. I’m not sure how it managed to get out, but I don’t think that’s a good thing. Anyway, seeing as about half of us are now zombies, I think we should focus on finding ways to prevent the rest of us getting zombified. It seems at this rate that each zombie has its own kill/conversion. So we need to gather up the zombies and keep them away from everyone else. I’m thinking that anyone who has a weapon can use it to corral the zombies into one of the abandoned homes in the village, and then we can lock them in there by putting like a stick or a chair or something to block the door. And, in the meantime, we should probably take shelter in another of the houses so we can get out of this rain. Also, I’m gonna use my first action to reveal what areas of interest might be nearby.

Make sure one of your actions is to set down your weapons, if you have any, and walk towards the farmhouse with your hands up. That way, he'll know you aren't trying to threaten him. And, if you can, tell him specifically about the zombies in our midst and that we believe that they can be reasoned with. Plus, he shouldn't shoot them or any of the rest of us or else he might attract more zombies.

If we let the farmer kill the zombies with his gun, we risk two things. First, he could mistake some of us as zombies and shoot us. Second, the sound of his gun going off could alert more zombies to our location. You know, considering there are graves nearby. I say our best bet is to send people who are willing to put down their weapons so as to not appear threatening and attempt to go explain to the farmer that we're going to try and see if the zombies can be reasoned with.

Those secrets will be revealed once the game is over.

I got some sticks, I was thinking I could use those to make a fire, and then I could use my second action to cook the cow meat.

Day 5 - Chaos Everyone was still upset over what had happened to Rath earlier in the day as they went to bed. Many people began to suspect that Wilco had been lying about having evidence that Rath was a rebel, and Draff did so as well. They left him alone for the time being as they all went to their respective rooms for the night As Draff attempted to focus his mind so he could sleep, he heard a crash from the room next door. Heart racing, he quickly ran out of his room as fast as he could, grabbing his pistol. He saw a figure come running down the hallway, and the door to Wilco's room was ajar. Carefully, Draff peeked in the room. Wilco was dead, his throat slit while he'd slept. He'd send someone to clean up the mess later. For now, he was going to catch this killer. Draff ran in the direction of the killer, hoping to catch him before he could slip away. Before he rounded a corner, he heard a gunshot. He stopped, listening to see if he heard anymore footsteps. Once he was certain that the coast was clear, he peeked his head around the corner. There was a body in the middle of the hallway, around the same size as Wilco's killer. As he drew closer to the body, he saw that it was Ainm. Except...the features were all wrong, as if the face was melting.... Oh Harmony, Draff thought, that's a Faceless Immortal. Draff spent some time cleaning up the mess that used to be Ainm and then searching through Wilco's room while other officers attempted to find Ainm's killer. While they couldn't find the second killer, they did discover that Wilco had some notes hidden underneath his bed. After they brought in an expert on code-breaking, they found out he had been instrumental in organizing the attacks throughout the city and keeping the rebels perpetrating the attacks away from the police's search efforts. ~ Aonar was killed! “If we’re gonna gather water,” Lachlan said, “we’re gonna need to make containers for the water. Did anyone take a basket weaving classes before the apocalypse started?” ~ Seriously though, we need to find a way to gather a water from this stream, because who knows when we’ll have fresh water again.

Lachlan looked around at the rest of the group as the seemed to settle down for a rest. There seemed to be a discussion of whether or not they should try and off someone, in case they were a zombie. Seeing as there were only a couple people talking about it, he decided he'd put in a vote himself. "Sean, you've been pretty quiet lately," he said. "Is that because you're starting to turn into a zombie and don't want to accidentally make zombie noises when you try to talk?" ~ I'm voting on Ventyl because why not. Also, if anyone has any suggestions for actions we should take, I'm all ears.

Night 4 - Deceit and Misdirection Draff felt sorry for the guy. Rath had gotten in a really bad accident a couple weeks before Danton’s death and all this mess had started. He could barely even remember his own name, though his weekly sessions in the infirmary at the station helped jog his memory of being an officer. When Lyrelle had been caught and it turned out that there were rebels hiding amongst the officers, the chief decided that Rath could possibly have been one before his accident, and so would need to be kept in the station like all the rest of the officers. Obviously, Rath barely knew what was going on, but Draff could tell he was concerned that maybe he actually was a rebel before his accident. Would the force arrest him for doing something he didn’t even remember? It was an unsettling thought, one that was on Draff’s mind as he watched Wilco rile up the rest of the officers in support of ganging up on Rath to see if they could make him remember that he was a rebel. Apparently Wilco had found evidence that Rath was a rebel, and so people believed him. Draff forced himself to watch as they interrogated Rath, using very unnecessary force. As the day went on though, and Rath made it very clear that he wouldn’t be able to remember if he was a rebel, people began to reluctantly draw away. Then, once everyone had left Rath alone, Draff took him to the infirmary. Maybe he’d be safe from everyone else there. ~ (2) Amanuensis: Rathmaskal, Snipexe (7) Rathmaskal: Fifth Scholar, Devotary of Spontaneity, Araris Valerian, Straw, Ventyl, _Stick_, Lumgol Rathmaskal was lynched! Yes. At that point, it becomes a hunt for the village to lynch/kill the Kandra and the Kandra has to survive to be the last person alive.
-
I guess you didn't see the update I made, but I've changed the rules so that the village does have to kill the SK to win.

The only player in danger of dying to the inactivity filter is @Straw, unless they get their second post in the next 12 hours.

Day 4 - It Was A Quiet Night It seemed that, after the chaos of the day, most of the officers seemed to just want to go to sleep or talk amongst themselves. Draff was perfectly fine with that, because he wasn’t sure how much kore stress he could take before something bad happened again. Because he knew it would. Since nothing incriminating had been found in Sart’s possession, people were beginning to suspect Wilco of being a rebel. Obviously, he adamantly denied these claims. Some believed him, some didn’t. Draff felt it was best to stay out of that. If he voiced his opinion either way, who knew if Wilco would survive the night. Draff couldn’t sleep that night because he kept getting nightmares about a strange monster ravaging the city, except no one could see it. Finally, he decided to just walk through the halls of the station to keep his mind off things. That’s when he found Thomas’s body. The poor man. He’d survived the last beating just to die with a knife in his back this time. Draff began mentally preparing himself to write yet another letter to some unlucky family. ~ MrakeDarshall was killed! Night 3 - Truth and Lies The day had started off calm enough, with just a few scattered discussions going on around the station. But then it seemed as if Ruin himself came back to whisper in everyone’s ears. There were so many claims being made about the few officers that people were now afraid of, Wilco, Thomas, and Sart. Plus, apparently some people had been making untrue claims about whether or not they had allomantic abilities. Draff knew there would be trouble today, but he couldn’t be in all places at once. So, he decided he’d patrol the lobby, hallways, and every room he could think of where someone might try to kill one of the people being accused of being a rebel now. He was making his seventh rotation around the station when he heard yet another scream from a nearby room. Cursing under his breath, he ran to go see who had died now. He found Sart in the room, just barely breathing. Apparently whoever had been attacking him had decided he couldn’t be a rebel. Draff had him taken to the infirmary, then settled down on one of the benches in the lobby. There were only so many of them left now, and they couldn’t afford to keep doing this to each other. All of the lying, half-truths, and beatings were going to tear them apart. ~ (7) Sart: Fifth Scholar, Amanuensis, Ventyl, _Stick_, Devotary, Aonar, Lumgol (4) Aman: Sart, Araris, Rath, MrakeDarshall Sart was lynched!
