  1. That's priceless! EDIT: Someone really needs to do an H.P. Lovecraft one (I'll try, but all that prose makes my head spin).
  2. Why a sword? I'd just awaken a frying pan and give it the command "make me bacon and eggs".
  3. Oh, yeah, forgot about him. The sad thing was, I was actually starting to be okay with him when the assassination thing started to happen...
  4. Zane (glad that he got murdered by Vin), Amaram ("Killing an entire group of people that just saved my life and accusing them of treason is totally the right and honorable thing to do"), Steris at first (I actually started to like her more as the series progressed), Odium (of course, but it's not just the "Is a massive antagonist who kills gods out of a narcissistic desire to be the most powerful being in the Cosmere" thing, he's also a massive douche), Tindwyl the first time I listened to (I have audible) the Well of Ascension (second time around she was kind of okay), Sadeas is a total slimeball and probably doesn't even need to be on this list, Straff Venture (of course), Shallan's "Brightness Radiant" persona.
  5. Ummm... no. Storms no.
  6. Totally missed that! Wow!
  7. Or, y'know, just use copper spikes which steal intelligence, memory, etc.,
  8. Okay, that happens, but Cthulhu becomes holder of the shard of Ruin and destroys you and everything you love. I wish I could meet a nice, beautiful girl around my age who had similar musical and literary tastes to mine.
  9. Thanks! I am! Very much.
  10. I have Asperger's, and knew for a while (ever since BoM) that Steris was like me in that way, and I was beginning to suspect Jasnah, but I had no idea about Renarin. I am very glad to have people with my condition and ones like it represented. I only recently started Oathbringer.
  11. Okay guys, real sorry for being gone so long. I have a genetic disorder called "scoliosis", which causes my back to bend as I grow. I had back surgery on November 14, 2017 to correct it, and only got out on Friday (the 17th). My back still hurts, and my sleeping habits are way messed up, but I'm getting better. Sorry for being gone so long.
  12. 56% Dustbringer Also called Releasers to avoid association with the Voidbringers. Releasers are often misunderstood by those they protect, but they are fierce and loyal allies. They may prefer to work apart from those who malign them, but will always be there to battle common enemies. They possess the surges of Division and Abrasion, and their second Ideal is unknown. 32% Elsecaller Proud and sharp of wit, Elsecallers are leaders among Radiants. They act as ambassadors to the spren and advisers to their fellows, granting them a reputation of great wisdom and benevolence. They possess the surges of Transformation and Transportation, and their second Ideal is unknown. 32% Lightweaver With their skill for the arts and their impressive memory, Lightweavers shine primarily outside of battle. They have a particular knack for encouraging their fellow Radiants and emphasize self-awareness and individuality above any well-defined Ideals. They possess the surges of Illumination and Transformation. 13% Truthwatcher Truthwatchers are among the most tactful and considerate of orders, taking care to think before they speak. They are private individuals, but insightful. Although not generally inclined toward combat, they are invaluable allies off the battlefield. They possess the surges of Progression and Illumination, and their second Ideal is unknown. 9% Skybreaker With their strong emphasis on the law, Skybreakers are among the most demanding of Orders. They have a strong sense of justice that can be used to punish the guilty or to defend the innocent. They possess the surges of Gravitation and Division. Their second Ideal is, "I will put the law before all else." 6% Willshaper Of all the Orders, Willshapers are the most varied. Often eccentric and adventurous, they defy any single definition but express a great love of the new and different. They are energetic and optimistic, if sometimes a little scatter-brained. Willshapers possess the surges of Transportation and Cohesion, and their second Ideal is unknown. 0% Bondsmith Wise and trustworthy, Bondsmiths unite and lead the peoples of the world. They concern themselves with the big picture and coordinate other Radiants rather than fight on the front lines. They possess the surges of Tension and Adhesion. Their second Ideal is, "I will unite instead of divide. I will bring men together." 0% Edgedancer Edgedancers are renowned for their skills in and out of battle. Graceful, refined, and selfless, Edgedancers spread hope wherever they go--although they focus on the immediate and leave larger concerns to the Bondsmiths. They possess the surges of Abrasion and Progression. Their second Ideal is, "I will remember those who have been forgotten." 0% Stoneward Stonewards are loyal and dependable, the first to charge and the last to retreat. Stubborn to a fault but fiercely trustworthy, they make for unparalleled allies. They possess the surges of Cohesion and Tension, and their second Ideal is unknown. 0% Windrunner Windrunners are the foremost defenders among the Knights Radiant, upholding honor and mercy in equal measures. They are passionate, loyal, and inclusive, noteworthy for training a large number of squires. They possess the surges of Adhesion and Gravitation. Their second Ideal is, "I will protect those who cannot protect themselves." Well, I wanted Windrunner as one of my orders, but Dustbringers are cool!
  13. So I came up with these totally random and sort-of customizable "would you rather" questions. All of the extremely overpowered ones have downsides. Tell me what you guys think,
  14. Of course, being overpowered is fun! I draw the line at shard-level power, though. Get too overpowered, and it gets really boring really fast.
  15. Logician. Cool.
  16. I have a Selish pirate who is both a mistborn and full feruchemist. And he's a forger. And a few others.
  17. I assure you, they won't, though they're less serious than the original trilogy. Wayne is hilarious. It's probably a given due to the fact that it's a Mistborn series, but all of the main characters have been awesomified by the end of the second/third book. Also, Steris isn't nearly as bad as she seems in the first book. Just saying. Oh, by the way, most of Brandon Sanderson's other books take place in the same universe as Mistborn. This universe is called The Cosmere. Earth doesn't exist in the Cosmere, so any stories set on Earth (Such as Legion or The Reckoners) or some Earth equivalent (such as Alcatraz or The Rithmatist) are automatically not Cosmere. Also, there's a Mistborn tabletop RPG if you're into that sort of thing. It's actually pretty cool. By the way, the Drizzt books are awesome.
  18. New Zeland, eh? Cool! Always loved Lotr.
  19. I had my doubts when I first heard about it, but when I got it, I really enjoyed it. It definitely wasn't perfect, and it was kinda weird, but I like it. Can't wait for #2! Taldain Darksiders are more technologically advanced than Lightsiders.
  20. Saying stuff that sounds mildly/extremely psychotic. Basically what I do now.
