  1. Ok. I have been giving some serious thought as to what we know about Voidspen and Voidbinding. Truth is we don't have confirmation on much (is that Brandon giggling in the background?). So I made this to chronicle all the facts we have...from the Inverness of symbols on the charts to...well that is the only thing I can come up with on the top of my head. I want corroborated facts, highly supported theories etc....bc I am starting to think we have Voidspen all wrong.
  2. You can't read books when on mission?
  3. At the same time we have a WOB saying that the heralds would sometimes loan out their Honorblade s during pat desolation. I think it was from Reddit, but I am having trouble finding now.
  4. Ok I am late with this, but it was a long day...That said I haven't read any comments yet so this is just my thoughts. Honorblade s work Oathgates confirmed.. Rial something going on there..spy or just a swarmy Brown noser? Tidereaders? More Live for the One ...Die for the One! Shin Shamanism is totally exclusive or Vorinism. Adonis shard plate came from the Shin? Erie...wow... "They may have taken your freedom, but they took our minds.." wow Connection rebounded, Identity restored....oh the implications..
  5. @PeterAhlstrom Chapter 16 Took a couple reads to realize Navani was saying bold not Dalinar.
  6. I have always envisioned it like the olympic symbol...only 10 rings instead of 5.
  7. I had been contemplating the same question for a while and came to a possible conclusion that I haven't seen mentioned yet. We have scenes of Szeth being in Urithiru from the previous books. In those scenes it is clear that he had been there previously. I think it is possible he tried to activate the Shattered planes Oathgate as a way to reach Dalinar faster. But he only ended up unlocking the Urithiru side, thus leaving it unlocked and facilitating the escape.
  8. There are a couple that apply or at least imply about this....I will try to look them up when I get home in 45 minutes.
  9. I personally theorize on three "waves" of human settlement based on language groups.
  10. Not sure where I picked it up.....it says I uploaded it to onedrive December 2016....
  11. This is the timeline I use....spoilers for size.
  12. Lol I have decided Nightblood uses the voice of the Lexx....cheerfully blowing up planet's and destroying evil...
  13. The frequency of light/dark dual eye combinations seems too low for that.
  14. @Captains Domon lol I here the voice of Hal from 2001...
  15. Today, while reading the new chapters, I realized that I often read out loud softly to myself using voices much as Wayne is supposed to. This realisation came when I found myself using a Yoda voice for Pattern. Anyone else have specific voice types for characters?
  16. Ummm he uses dust for the light weaving.
  17. @Extesian Wow, I had never seen the play dough machine one before and it totally made compounding clear to me. I never really understood how you got feruchemy results from burning allomantic metals. Now I have this visual of a piece with x shape for allomency on one end that hooks up to the machine, but with y shape on the output for the Feruchemic result! Thanks, I knew the results and what was Canon, but just couldn't wrap my head around how it worked! @Calderis Looking at the free unfocused Investiture/splinters on each planet should help define how all the foci relate to each other. Seons take the shape of an Aon, and probably predate Odium coming to Sel. Spren on Roshar, help with the growth of animals, allow Parshendi to change forms, and emulate physical, emotional, and intellectual activities. I can't come up with anything for Nalthis off the top of my head, but Returned are a fairly recent event....so something prior to them.. Scadrial, since it was made by Preservation and Ruin, and Brandon says it is odd, may not have an example. Taldain Dark side magic would probably give good info if we new anything. First of the Sun, all the magic appears to be cognitively related. Threnody, All the Rules seem to have a physical basis. Ashyn...disease based magic..ummm
  18. I think we can discount the Priests telling them they were siblings, since they returned before the Manywar. I have the distinct impression that the priesthood was not set up until after it when the first Godking came into being...I could be totally wrong there though.
  19. Actually in human chimera that is exactly how it happens...fraternal twins with 2 different DNA sets absorb into a single blastosphere in which a single human being forms with 2 unique sets of DNA. This can result at times with each eye being coded with a separate DNA set resulting in 2 different eye colors. But it is so rare it doesn't really come into play more than 1 in a couple million.
  20. Shard blades are pretty well tracked....they would have had to discover an unknown cache or something.
  21. It does happen, and I wrote a long essay on it somewhere here on the shard specifically dealing with chimeric heterochromia, but I can't find it now....
  22. I just want to see her done a bunch of those super high protein and calorie shakes that weight lifters use....
  23. I really like this explanation. Thanks for the new head Canon Yata.
