Actually I thought it was seonid lol. But nm that. Despite not having work today, I was still ridiculously busy, and will be in a bit, so I only have about an hour to do this. We cannot afford a lynch on Joe right now. I'm suspicous of people who DO want it to go through (other than neutrals). You do realize we've only gotten one elim so far?! Even if we get an elim every lynch, that will take until day 10! 11 if you include lynching joe! (Assuming there were 5 elims). and gosh darn it now I'm not even going to have this next hour. I have to go help in my garden. Sorry. . Suffice it to say I think cloudjumper is an elim, I don't think we should lynch joe right now, and I'll try to come back and make analysis. Ugh.

Thank you for telling us. I was slightly suspicious of you, but I can remove that now. Excellent. I'm going to bed now, but I don't have work tomorrow, so I plan on getting stuff done. We're going to make this lynch count. I also plan on updating my analysis document once again. I'll add role information and stuff. I don't think we should kill Joe yet. If we look really close to winning (like killing another elim or two) I would feel a lot better about giving up a lynch to fulfill your win condition, Wilson. But right now we've killed 1 out of at least 4 (probably 5, by my own and seonids estimate) elims. We are no where near a solid village win. I think our best possible lynches would be cloudjumper or ecth, as someone pointed out. (My phone is about to shut down, so I don't have time to check). Beware, elims. Jay Garrick is coming for you.

Ps I asked if WE should. I decided to because I'm paranoid. I listed my reasons for suspecting cloud in the night turn. I did say sorry, but you get how weird the situation is. As I said, I still trust you lol

I think Joe would let us know if he was the Convicts ward. Plus, I think I know who the Convicts ward is. You say it so much more eloquently...

I'll go back and review those posts after I get home. But you make an interesting point... hmmm... I don't think we should lynch Joe this turn. Another turn, definitely. But right now I think a few too many things are hanging in the balance.

I edited that lol. Ok. I've decided it's time to reveal my role, in the effort to get some more information. I am the village rioter . It was me who rioted stinks vote onto straw the other day (in my defense, I put in the action while the vote was still tied). Furthermore, I got in contact with Brightness, revealed my role, and she revealed... that she is also a village rioter? This is why she was suspicious of me, and why I was suspicious of her. 3 village rioters in this game? It's a little weird. (Jondesu was a village rioter, if you'll remember). However other than her role, I'm just not getting an elim vibe from Brightness. But seriously we need more information. I'm not suggesting a lynch on her. I just think we need to consolidate our information. We don't have anything truly helpful right now, and we need something to work with. Sorry Brightness for revealing your role, but it IS weird that there would be three village rioters. We need to consider all our options, and as Asterion said during the night turn, elims can make analysis.

Yeah i figured you wouldn't know any. I thought Orlok might. But it would be just my luck that Yitzi was the only elim who got in contact with the neutrals *sigh*

Which is why I said I would be willing to vote for a name. I know you neutrals must be in contact with at least one elim. To be honest, other than cloudjumper I don't really have anyone that I want to go after. I'm at a loss to do after that. Which is why I thought maybe we could make that mutually beneficial. You help us with our win condition, we help with Wilsons. And when you tell us the name, we would still vote on you, in a show of good faith. Then we could vote on the elim you (as in the neutrals) exposed the next day. it wouldn't necessarily win us the game, but right now we're kind of stuck. I think it's a great idea on my part.

Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance
Steeldancer replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Logic rules. elenion . I was considering the various opinions, and this seems like the best defense of lynching elenion. -
Wait so you don't actually want to die? Ok then. Nm, if you aren't giving me a name, I'm going after a Joe in the bush cloudjumper. I have already stated my reasons for being suspicious of him. Also a lot of gut read.

Well I'm suitably confused now. I really thought striker/Asterion was an elim... Ok. Much as I would love to help the neutrals, I want something in return. We villagers are going to be wasting a lynch on a neutral, pausing our win condition to help yours. So, I want one elim name in return for my help with your win condition. a Joe in the bush

At that point it was paranoia. Now it's that you've voted once or twice in this whole game, one on day 2 on crimsn; And then I think (iirc)you voted on me last day. Which you never retracted despite my huge attempts at analysis. Furthermore, half of your posts have been filler posts- such as " I hate being wrong" or the vote talley. Even your attack on Crimsn is a flimsy one at best. Did you not catch the explanation that that vote change happened in about 2 minutes? I'm also not a fan about how you interpreted my one post as being "contribution crusade." When I said "most of the active people are probably village", and we've lynched many of our most active people, what are they? *gasp* they were village because talking that much as an elim is super risky!!! I wasn't going after people who hadnt said anything, I was going after people who were just enough into this game to send in the Elim kill, but also draw no suspicion. You've been around enough to make analysis and vote, but you haven't. Thus, I draw attention to you. If I'm alive in 2 days I'll be trying to lynch you. For now I'll go after Asterion. Also it feels like in the above post, you knew that they were village but were trying to hide it.

Ah right. Forgot about that. I'll go do that now. Excuse me for a moment. Ok first things first. Can I just mention how convenient my document makes everything? Instead of trawling through the thread to find cloudjumper's analysis, I literally just opened the document and tapped on the link that takes me straight to all his analysis. It's great guys. Anyway, Elims totally lurk. In fact, I'm pretty sure striker/ now asterion is an elim (simply because of the issue it caused, if they were both village would it be a big deal?) And striker was doing all sorts of lurking. Specifically, just posting enough to not be called out for inactivity. Maybe contributing a tidbit here or there. Yes I'm also addressing you here. As Aman said earlier, villagers should stick their neck out a bit to figure out what is going on. A passive approach to avoid suspicion is more what a good elim would do. Also, there is reverse suspicion. Elbereth, orlok, stink, joe, and Wilson are above suspicion, being neutrals. Arinian, Seonid, and Drake have events or said things that speak highly for them being villager or neutral, or just a confused villager. BR and Stick have provided enough analysis to be above suspicion. Furthermore, I spent a ton of time creating a resource that would not help me if I were an elim. And I know that I'm village. This leaves a list of people: Dalinar, Crimsn, Ecth, Araris, PK, Asterion (aka striker), Shqueeves, cloudjumper, and Elenion. Araris is invisible as usual, and Shqueeves is back so recently that he hasn't given anything alignment indicative. I am at least mildly suspicious of everyone else on this list. Asterion (acting as Striker) is my top suspicion, who I plan to vote on as soon as the day turn comes around. Elenion and Dalinar are only mild suspicions, as is Crimsn. PK has an early vote on Yitzi speaking for him (correct me if I'm wrong please). This leaves only a few people left; Ecth and Cloudjumper. Despite my annoyance at Ecthelions suspcion of me, I'm not getting an elim read from his posts. You, I have. When I set up a little safety net when I told Brightness my role, I was most suspicious of you. I may not be 100% accurate about how much you're lurking (blame my phone. Nothing to do with me). But you haven't exactly contributed anything valuable. And I am suspicious of you. @cloudjumper

Well I survived work. I'm thinking Elenion , because I'm thinking drake will be more helpful than a potential voidbringer. -

Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance
Steeldancer replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Max Mercury sat and sipped at his deep blue wine. He was talking with a scribe of Dalinars. In Max's opinion, Dalinar was the most powerful man in Alethkar. Others saw him as weak or cowardly, but Max saw courage and wisdom. Being in his camp would bring him closer to the king. He knew Dalinar had his preferences, but Max aimed to become powerful. Such a position would put him directly in the happenings- on, unlike under his current highprince. Problem was, he couldn't very easily change Highprinces. He had to curry favor from Dalinar, and then move his land to under the control of Dalinar. And right now, the best way to curry favor would be to agree with Dalianrs plan for peace. Anyone sabotaging the peace efforts would be sabotaging his machinations, and so he vehemently opposed all who suggested that peace was not the answer. Now of course it wasn't the actual answer. But he wanted into Dalinars warcamp... And so he was forced to agree with him. And that was what he was expounding to this scribe. She would eventually tell Dalinar, he would get to speak to him. And perhaps something could be arranged. -

Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance

What defines a secret role, exactly? Is things like Highprinces and Shardbearers included in that? Or is it just sons of honor and ghostbloods -
Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance
Steeldancer replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Factions. Hm. Everyone has already outlined the different alliances. I am partial to rooting out the Ghostbloods first. The thing is, there are only 8 parshendi. That means there is a greater likelihood of hitting a voidbringer or ghostblood if we kill a parshendi, right? Wait. That makes no sense. It's probable that the percentages might be similar. So... do we alternate? No. That matches with the ghostbloods aims too well. Ok so I'll think about it a little bit and see if I can come up with any ideas for finding ghostbloods. -
Just coming up with ideas. Also if you go into the day 5, I created a document that compiles all analysis so far. You can use it to catch up. Also what a coincidence the game reflects your real situation (sort of) lol

Well if he kills you and the elims kill asterion, problem solved. We can't rely on Asterion as a confirmed villager (because they'll be dead) and you'll be dead. Like you're supposed to be.

Mid-Range Game 23: A Desperate Alliance
Steeldancer replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I kind of like contribution crusade. -
Well a GM error. Fantastic. Can we summon a GM? @Doc12 @Haelbarde hello we lynched StrikerEZ not Asterion (helpful though it is to know that indeed Asterion is not an elim) And there is no way that could be rioters. I know that for a fact. Um... what do we do if we're not able to summon the GM? Impartial mod? Hello? Ok. Fine. My suspicions now turn to CLOUDJUMPER. I saw you lurking yesterday, and yet you hardly said a word. Furthermore, when I addressed you, you hopped over to a different forum, so I know it wasn't just keeping your tab on or something. You only give your thoughts when forced to. And I will enumerate my other reasons for suspecting you once I get home from work.
