Also @Shqueeveswhere you at man?

I'm going inactive today, until the 28th. I might be able to get on for day 5, but rollover might be too early for me to hop on at all. I've asked seonid a couple times if he'll accept actions being put in in advance, but he's never responded lol. Hopefully I'll be able to find some WiFi somewhere, but I doubt I will. I'll ask again: reckoners, please get in contact with King Cole and I. Thank you very much for your cooperation. I love all the RP going on, but alas I have not the time to join in. I need to go pack for camping

People who are scared of butterflies and other harmless things. Honestly. It's so stupid! A butterfly couldn't hurt you if it was a murderous psychopath intent on eliminating the human race! If you're going to be afraid of something, be afraid of something logical. Like dying. Or spiders. Or heights. Something that genuinely improves your chances of surviving. Personally im not scared of any animals or heights, but I can understand reasonable fears. But butterflies? *shakes head*

Having a Bad Day?: Get 'yer Hugs here!!
Steeldancer replied to Curious Anamaximder's topic in General Discussion
I can relate to bad teachers. I have one... So I'm I'm huge music student. I love singing and acting and all that jazz. I've never been a great dancer, but I'm taking tap and improving. I've been in lots of shows. Introduce my high school music teacher. She... how do I even explain? She picks favorites. I am really not one of those favorites, partially I think because my dad is the music teacher in another high school. She isn't actively hostile towards me, so I deal with it. I don't get great roles (when I do community theater I always get a lead), which I'm not going to complain about, besides the fact that they never give me a chance to learn how to tap at the level they want, because they stick with their favorites. Now some of the favorites really deserve to be favorited. If you ever hear of Mark Mitrano on Broadway in a few years, I sat at his lunch table. I accepted these facts a while ago: I'm not going to get a good role in the high school show. The problem is the time. Even as a ensemble member, my teacher thinks she OWNS me. For over a month, I hardly ever saw my family. I was either rehearsing or doing homework. I cannot IMAGINE how it would be to be a lead. That is just wrong to inflict on a high schooler. They should be able to do things besides the show. People who complain about her methods are ostracized. But i decided enough was enough. No matter how good the show was (we did Les Mis and it was fantastic), it was not worth the ridiculous number of hours put into it. I've been having regular nightmares of telling her lately. Another thing: we are always expected to be professional. I hate it. It's ridiculous the bile she pours on us to "make us stronger." We're high schoolers, not paid actors! Another time I was trying to be helpful in a concert with loading. I like asked "could you scootch farther down so we can all fit" or something. Essentially my teacher gave me the glare of death. I wasn't doing anything wrong or loud. I wasn't being detrimental. But gosh darn it if she's going to let hateful little me be helpful. I've had many similar moments like that, and observed her treat others similarly. My dads arguments about how students should come first, not the show, convinced me not to do it. Furthermore, my brother, who has had much better luck with roles and shows than I have, decided not to do it either his freshman year, because of the ridiculous time commitment. That makes me angry, that she caused my brother to quit doing something he loves. So yeah. I'm probably going to be punished socially for not doing the show my senior year. I'll still get to go to Conference All-State choir, but doing the show is something special. I really wish I hadn't been made to make this choice. And I really wish I had my dad as my music teacher instead. -

Darn roadwalker died. No more RPing with him. Reckoners, I would appreciate if you could at some point get in contact with King Cole and I. I promise not to out you to the thread, given my earlier promise to remain neutral. Thanks! WHOOSH! Impulse arrived in the gun lords office, the one that bulges. Instantly, several guards pointed weapons and fired. Impulse easily dodged and fired his gun- one designed to actually be usable when he was in superspeed- at them all in the legs. They went down fast. He easily strode into the office, where a grumpy looking man swiveled to face him. "Who are you?" The tycoon demanded. In a flash, Impulse stood next to him. The man realized what he was dealing with. "Let me make this clear. I'm going to supply some weapons to you. You're not going to cheat me out of a fair price, and you're going to help me get in contact with some of the more desperate factions of the city. The ones that are willing to really pay for the kind of things I build." Impulse grinned. A few minutes later he casually walked out of the building, whistling to himself, a suitcase stuffed with true valuables.

I'll keep the orange one, as an alternate lynch. You vote orange to role block a player for a cycle. I'll let you guys figure out how they interact with one another, as apparently I'm not allowed to define that.- 713 replies

My alternate idea is a contribution crusade. But it's day 2 and that's an awful idea as our first lynch on every level. But that won't stop me from poke votes. @Paranoid King pk where you at?

Long Game 38: In the beginning...
Steeldancer replied to AliasSheep's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I thought I specified what happened if there was a tie. Everyone in a tie is effected, except in chancellor, where it has to be one person with the most votes. The essential idea is thus: you don't just have to lynch somebody. You can do alternate modes of lynches. So instead of making the lynch kill, it can instead make you lose your soul, or become the chancellor. I will note how rough this rule is. It's basically an idea that needs to be better thought out. Which I will do tonight. I think there should be something a dead person should be able to do. A vote of sorts, with some sort of effect (I have yet to determine what). Lynching the GM is an awful idea. But perhaps if they are lynched, the whole thing restarts? Lol what a troll that would be. Especially with the whole "start of the cosmere thing." This right here is not part of my rule. My rule is the multiple choice lynch.- 713 replies
