  2. Dastardly is what the Dark Alley organization does. But there's as many of us as there are of them, so we keep them in check and stop (most of) their spiking attempts.

  4. This alone is reason enough not to partake.
  5. If you've read Mistborn through Hero of Ages, you'll know what I mean when I say that The cookies Ruin lives.
  6. Ah, that's it. Thanks.
  7. Let me go find that one... Got it! @Assassin in Burgundy this is the post, but the whole thread is actually pretty humorous. And when Chaos comes in...
  8. They'd claim it as their territory and chase off vagrants. Sort of like the Hallandren slums.
  9. I remember one time in particular where a user was banned after telling everyone that he owned the forums.
  10. Oh ok. But how about replacing that with "I claim these forums as my own." or however that Kaladin quote would go.
  11. But how does that relate to banhammers?
  12. @bleeder You might want to see this...

  14. I've set off a scanner with my pants myself. The spikes are not useless at all: when the cookies are digested they pierce the target in the stomach. Completely invisible to observers, nearly impossible to remove, and no chance of granting/stealing any powers.
  15. Might be better as "And now you never said that" to use on people who violate spoiler policy. "The Steel Inquisition disapproves of thread necromancy."
  16. A knight of the Knights Admin wielding a Banhammer. An Awakener with "My downvotes to yours, my downvotes become yours." Nightblood with, "Hello, do you want to destroy some spoilers today?"
  17. (Mistborn era 1 for any visitors to the thread, though I'm confident everyone here knows)
  18. Okay, when Honor finally dies (or wins), the killer needs to post "Honor is dead." Hurt Autonomy, heal Honor 3. Preservation: 8 4. Ruin: 8 6. Honor: 12 7. Cultivation: 9 8. Endowment: 6 9. Autonomy: 7
  19. *studies PM history* It looks like you're right. I guess it was just the other contact of mine that I mentioned that too. Sorry. I'm of the impression that Sheep thinks the vote will swing off of him like it did off of Nathan last cycle. I for one am not ready to afford him that luxury.
  20. What exactly did you want to hear from me? I didn't vote Ripple or Rae because (as I specified then) I didn't find them suspicious at the time. If you talk to my PM-contacts (Alv is one and he knows the other), they will corroborate my story that I haven't been suspicious of either this entire game, and last cycle in particular I explicitly told my second contact that I didn't even know why Ripple and Rae were up for votes. I voted for Nathan because I'm suspicious of lurkers, but when the lynch stopped on him I thought that it was good that we weren't going to get another Jefry, and so switched to DA because he too was lurking. It was my intention at that point to stay with Alv on DA until turnover, but when more votes failed to materialize on Ripple I grew paranoid of Soothers and decided to act, since DA wasn't going to get lynched anyway except in a triple, and I didn't want that. I swapped my vote to Ripple, and you can tell how at the beginning of the cycle I was (erroneously) convinced that I had negated an elim gambit to gain a triple lynch. And while I did end with my vote on Ripple, I haven't tried to use that as leverage to prove that I'm innocent, because that was just a lucky vote.
  21. As the thread necromancer finished his incantation, the crumbling remains of a thread long-dead Awakened once more. (Usually we don't resurrect threads that have been dead for over about 3 months. It's called thread necromancy.)

  23. I assumed that Jondesu was asked to misdirect the lynch after my experience being on a team with him in the last MR. It may have had something to do with Lopen doing things behind the scenes, but how the elims worked that game I always had to start the lynches, then ask Mage and Jondesu to join me. Mage usually did, but Jondesu was often hesitant to vote (or he didn't vote at all), hence my assumption that this game he had to be coerced into voting by the other elims. This panic/coercion hypothesis explained to me perfectly why the vote was so last-minute and suspicious: Jondesu was suddenly forced into voting by teammates with no warning and little time to do so. So there I was, having just come up with an explanation that fit the circumstances very accurately; and so of course I posted it in its entirety for evaluation and action upon. I'm not going to water down my ideas just so they don't look like I know too much.
  24. Ladies and gentlemen, the Sheep wagon is now departing from gate 9. All aboard!
