  1. These tiers are not ordered I just wrote down whatever came to mind first Village: Kas - I think I'm comfortable enough to say Kas is V. This is not an effort clear - he seems actively invested in solving in the sense that his analysis does not seem forced. Also I got the chance to properly read your NKA and lol sorry I don't remember why I killed Striker in LG86 xD I'll make sure to spell out my kill rationales in the future xD Kinda villaeg idk: Mat - the vibes were a tiny bit off D1 but he seems a lot more relaxed in his more recent posts. Why are you village reading JNV? Turtle: Turtle gets their own tier I guess. Reading through N1, I'm liking this post encouraging discussion which I am just now seeing. I don't think e!Turtle tends to be this proactive in the thread. But also, due to the warnings I've received I am wary of trying to read turtle based on expected playstyle. Their bookwyrm vote was cast when the votes were tied between Elk, Szeth, bookwyrm and myself. So It's possible that turtle is e/e with one of those as their vote then put bookwyrm in the lead. And I'm not sure how I feel about the night vote. xD Personally I have done that as elim before I think the difference between my turtle tier and the 'kinda village' tier is that I'm open to voting turtle if it comes down to it but we've better options at the moment. Elim: Szeth - yeah no I hate to tunnel but their vibes still don't sit right with me Elk - Haven't yet responded to my other post so my thoughts haven't changed much. @Kasimir you say they were lurking last turn - was this when bookwyrm was in the lead or earlier? Cash - I really like your profile picture. Baby Perry the Platypus is so cute ^-^ But anyway- I went to their profile to filter through their posts and it surprised me to see the amount of posts Cash has apparently made. Granted I'm not the most active follower of this game atm but I did not remember Cash making many posts. This is a red flag for me because it means they'd been successfully flying under the radar. Could you elaborate on what exactly you meant by this (post from D2)? That last sentence in particular. Araris - Basically what others have already pointed out. I think that there's araris/elk e/e potential bc Elk was in danger of being exe'd last turn but the bookwyrm train ensured their safety. Will make note of Araris' defence of Cash for voting with illwei. xino - they didnt have a problem voting bookwyrm D1 but decided to go side train D2. @Ookla the Forgotten where did your opinion on bookwyrm change? (if at all?) Alv - mainly gut. I agree with Kas that ties for Alv are NAI. Especially now that we've flipped both wiz and bookwyrm as V, his tie-chasing D1 is even more NAI. That said, I don't like the vibes. He didn't vote at all last turn despite evidently being present at EoD, which I don't know what to make of. Okay, this took longer than expected and there was a lot more reading than writing to be done and I havent even covered the entire player list. Why are there so many players in this game ._. Unfortunately I have to go back to assignments now. I hate this I hate this dumb data science assignment I dun like it can I please go back to programming in java
  2. Very cool. @Ookla the Omniscient if you thought the turn was over 24 hours earlier than it was meant to be, why didn't you switch your vote back to Mat (who you say you suspect) before the turn 'ended'? You decided to leave your vote on yourself, putting yourself in the lead tied with Elk. Why? Like, how was that productive for the village at all? It makes me suspect that misunderstanding wasn't entirely genuine. Elk has been MIA and my vote hasn't appeared to have done anything so Szeth. ngl I've read this post about four times now - what do you mean? xD You're saying that due to less noticeable elim resistance you think that Bookwyrm is not E? I already agree with that Are you implying that you think we're teamed and distancing?
  3. Hmmmmmm edit: I will say that it always pings my elim radar every time someone pops up out of the blue the moment a vote is cast on them edit2: Araris what do you mean by that Cash statement I don’t follow xD Also disclaimer I will be even less active this turn
  4. I would still see it as suspicious if you swapped out Bookwyrm for another player because the inconsistency remains independently of who they were sussing. But if you’re asking what I think of Elk’s and Bookwyrm’s alignments with regards to each other, I’d say that if Elk E then Bookwyrm almost certainly V and if Bookwyrm E then Elk almost certainly V. They can’t both be E imo but both V? Possible, though I’m leaning Elk E atm. It was less about breaking the tie and more about voting in favour of my village read. If for example the tie was between Szeth and Wiz - given that my vote was on Szeth- I wouldn’t have switched to Wiz just to break the tie. Because I was not village reading Wiz and was (still am) suspicious of Szeth. Regarding the Illwei kill, it’s possible that she had been in a PM with an elim. Cuz she had a blade - maybe she’d given an indication of holding a blade to somebody she trusted in PM. There’s a maximum of 8 blades and with 20 players, the chances of the elims hitting a player holding an honorblade were low. It could just be a coincidence sure but can’t hurt to speculate.
  5. I’ll start Elkanah There’s inconsistencies among their posts - here they admit that they won’t exact favour a tie in presence of vote manipulation: And then twenty minutes later they’re trying their hardest to get the votes to tie. They also made a point about being very suspicious of bookwyrm here: And here: Aside from a lot of the suspicion here seeming to have been borrowed from other players, them deciding to vote Wiz to get a tie instead of pursuing this very strong suspicion does not sit right with me. While skimming their posts I also came across this: It’s just an odd question to ask and makes me wonder what kind of reply they were hoping for, and also whether this is something you’d even think to ask when you’re in a village mindset. Like, take Cin’s coinshot softclaim in RP in LG90 - ONLY the elims picked up on that and none of the villagers. This is because the villagers aren’t consciously looking for this stuff imo. edit: and also I don’t think any of their posts talked about wiz at all (their vote on them was in the name of ties) - as far as I know they never flagged any of wiz’s posts as suspicious so the “I don’t trust wiz” kinda came out of nowhere too edit2: and yes I would agree that Alv/elkanah are not teamed
  6. You voted for Wizard... Nope - was in class and didn't have a quick way to find it among 16 pages, got in just in time to see people going nuts with the ties and did what I thought I should do, i.e. vote in favour of my positive read. Like I've said before, my D1 strategy is ensuring an exe on anybody while steering it away from players I have even a slight village read on (if anybody at all). Why are people elim-reading bookwyrm? I found their misunderstanding with Mat regarding Araris' post to be villagery. Part of the reason is probably just that I'd also initially interpreted Araris' post in that way (to mean that his Alv vote was based off Alv's voting which didnt make sense as Alv had yet to post). But anyway my preferred exe would've been szeth pancakes.
  7. I... Do you not think that e!bookwyrm would have voted (in self pres or otherwise) by now? I dont think that the votes on them are recently accumulated?
  8. Close votes. Not fully caught up but I'm good with my vote where it is, and I would rather bookwyrm not die out of everyone on that list. Are all kas votes joke votes? I need to go back and see what the case on wiz was Interested to see how any vote manip plays out ;eyes;
  9. What did you mean by this? (for reference, this was in response to Araris pointing out that xino had been self pres'ing when it wasn't actually the case) Genuine question to anybody with an answer - How likely is E!Araris to deliberately mix two players up if he's teammates with one of them? I dont see why e!bookwyrm would retract at this juncture without switching over to another already existing train. Mild village I posted the moment I saw the thread, before I'd even read the rules or checked my GM PM. I thought I'd seen tun online during that time but apparently not, like I said I might be misremembering. Also I didn't vote in my first post ;eyes; Honestly you know what, turtle/shining not e/e. Could be e/v one way or the other, but it's too on the nose to be e/e Yeah no I should've read the entire thread before posting cuz I have now discovered that you moved off Mat xD I think I'll need a pinch hitter,,, Oh xD
  10. This whole bookwyrm/Mat interaction does not strike me as e/e (not this quote in particular but you know what I mean) rvs? This sentence makes me want to v-read bookwyrm because as an elim, you'd ideally want to jump at people backtracking on their statements. Saying this, though, puts you in a box where you can't exactly throw votes at people for suspicious backtracking. Even if it was said in self-defence, it looks mildly good. Szeth/Stick not e/e confirmed But on a serious note, curious to know whether you saw that I'd already voted on TUN for essentially the same reason? That Alv statement is very ironic considering your own vote xD Szeth ngl this was kind of a jump scare Any particular reason you didnt vote Elkanah? Also I must've misremembered about you checking the thread lol sorry it was probably xino I always mix you two up for no reason. I was actually just about to comment on that - the answer is not exactly. Does he seem a little combative? Maybe, but I'm wondering if that's my conf bias playing into it. I don't think I'm getting the vibes as explicitly as I got in that other game. Ignoring just pure vibes though, and looking at actual posts, there's this: I don't think e!Mat would just put this out here without following it with something more...substantial. It doesn't seem to serve a purpose, other than (badly) addressing the he's not paranoid enough point you brought up. Hm. I'm now. Hm. I do kind of agree with some of those points but maybe not to that exact extent. Like I said, he seems combative and in a defensive mood, but I can't decide whether I'm fully on board with that being the only e!mat indicator and also I'm growing paranoid of you two now but isnt this too early to be thread brawling?? quick guys tell me if kas/mat e/e could potentially be a thing xD Look I started reading the thread from page THREE and now I have pages 6,7,8 and 9 to go through but I spent literally 6 hours in the bus because rain so I'm checking out for a little bit again bc I need sustenance brb
  11. I go out to dinner and come back to SEVEN PAGES EXCUSE ME ;-; There's no way I'm reading all this now sorry it's 12 am. Luckily more than half the turn is still left so I've got time to catch up tomorrow But activity is a good thing, so this is great
  12. Turtle was evil in QF63 yes? Remind me what happened xD I know of your xino gambit and how that pointed to e!wiz but yall already had turtle pegged before that no?
  13. IMO, I think e!turtle would've removed their vote off e!Mat if I voted on them for it because that's what they said they'd do anyway (i.e. no reaction). Having played E with turtle, I dont expect them to react to pressure. But with just me pointing it out without too much pressure, I expected them to leave their vote on for longer to appear less e/e (that is a reaction, in this case). It doesn't matter anymore >>
  14. naur I wanted to see whether they actually take the vote off (now that other people have posted) without putting explicit pressure on them to do so. edit: Am I correct?
  15. Will note that people usually don't care too much about piling votes on a single player without reason on D1s (good pressure tactic), so the disinclination towards putting him in the lead interesting. @The Unknown Novel I noticed that you were online after the thread went up but you haven't posted yet so here's a nudge TUN
  16. Very nice game thanks Araris good work village and elims xx
  17. Reads on players that I didn’t have in my post last turn: Shadow: Elim - starting the turtle counter wagon as an elim makes sense to me because I know it was v/v. If all elims simply hopped on my existing train, the lack of resistance would’ve looked suspicious so a counter wagon was needed in any case. TUN: null+ I’m also moving Wiz down to null+
  18. I was kinda hoping I'd die There's reads to be extracted from that exe, but I think my reads list from last cycle holds, for the most part.
  19. If Turtle's your teammate then this is your chance to get free distancing points but it would mean sentencing them to certain death as opposed to the 50% chance of survival that they currently have If you're village then I guess follow your heart
  20. inb4 I am thug (again)
  21. If you move to Mat (which you said you'd be willing to do) and I switch back too, you can decrease the chances of Turtle dying by cutting it down to 1/3 instead of 1/2
