No I was pretty sure they weren't this proactive as elim but I needed to check to confirm so I don't look like a clown if I'm completely wrong edit: I mean yes. I did.

Their posts just don't seem like E!TUN's - LG90 comes to mind as their most recent elim game and I don't think their posts that game were even remotely as game-relevant. I've just gone back to the thread to recheck, and none of TUN's posts LG90 D1 were directly related to the game. As in, not even mechanics related. Half were single-line comments about whatever, and the other half were them sharing their opinion on voting D1 in general. So them being proactive about game-related discussion is a good indication, IMO. Likewise! I'm glad you noticed

I see where you're coming from, but I guess I disagree that it is suspicious behaviour. p2 I actually don't have a stance on TUN's vote. I could see both E!TUN and V!TUN voting that way, so it doesn't impact my read on them.

did i break something =D tbh I just like their posts. Why do they seem disinterested in the discussion to you? They shared their own opinion on both the elim team size and the talking in the village doc thing when prompting the thread to discuss those topics.

Also LG90 vibes I think I want to chalk it up to NAI I don't think his claim narrows the potential!winziks pool down for the elims becuase real!winzik could very well claim like that in hopes of it clearing them of actually being Winzik. A non-winzik villager could claim like that to attempt to bait the NK. An elim could claim like that to gauge thread reaction to find real!winzik. So this should only be NAI and nothing else. Side note: Leaning village on TUN Dannex

You’re right that the elim team’s aware of the size of the inner circle due to the doc access, but the inner circle is also aware of the size of the inner circle They’ll know when the village situ is dire. Also how would someone know if they’re about to get elim killed anyway? xD Additionally I don’t know if exlo is really a thing in this game - we don’t ‘exe an elim or lose’ in any scenario except where the elims are certain of the identity of the last inner circle member and can easily night kill them.

Does answering this question not indirectly involve postulations regarding the inner circle size? I would guess the elim team size would be somewhat reflective of it, at least to some extent. But for the sake of discussion I’d say that an elim team with the standard outnumbering wincon would probably have four players here yeah cuz the village gets an extra vote and while everybody on the elim team is roleless. edit: What would this accomplish?

Oh definitely - the dead doc was entertained. Or at least I was. And it’s unreasonable to expect you to carry us to victory after having been subbed in Day 5 It’s really cool that we got that close, so good job. @Ookla the Tall araris got all eight blades. And also you owe me some RP if I’m not wrong.- 1292 replies

Three village. You Turtle Shining I’ve shared my thoughts on turtle and I’m willing to put them down as mild village because of their n1. Shining’s read is based only on their most recent post where they’re essentially saying they’ll vote Archer/Araris next cycle, and since I’m pretty confident at least one of those two is evil, I’m feeling good about that Shining post because they’re now committed to it.- 1292 replies

I meant to say xino, not TUN. However I've gone and looked at insanity's post and I disagree with my point there because insanity specifically said: emphasis mine I'll say xino/insanity probably not e/e based on this. What do you mean about the Cash vote? It was cast when xino had one vote only. Right, fair about the stormlight limitations. So you're suggesting all vote manip + all protection with the village equals extra elim kill? I could see that, yeah. Especially because vote manip with the elims is a lot more powerful than vote manip with the village. But I don't know how likely this distro is. It's probably partially dependent on the actual players that make up the elim team and village respectively as well.- 1292 replies

Long Game 91: A Fresh Start in Shinovar
Stick. replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
oh huh. yeah. For some reason I was looking the timestamp from this post. I have way too many tabs open >> The only way I can explain it then it e!xino's team possessing vote manip, or insanity being paired with TUN and willing to move if things got too risky. I- yes >> Okay, fair enough. To the thread Alv hasn't said much of substance, so while I guess I understand why you're willing to table him for now I don't understand why everyone else is not questioning anything either. I would say giving it to the elims is slightly OP no?? Cuz a kill in the hands of a villager can also directly further the elim wincon bc friendly fire happens. I would guess that Chana started in the hands of a villager. Dunno if the shaman claimed it at some point and re-allocated it.- 1292 replies

We haven't seen any vote manip play out yet - I will not be surprised if the elims have some in a E!Xino world. Also, keep in mind that they had cast this vote during the first half of the cycle, so they weren't in significant danger yet so I don't think choosing to not self-pres on the lead train is too odd. Interesting - curious choice of wording there. Why say 'between TUN and Bookwyrm' and not 'between Mat, TUN, and Bookwyrm' since according to your votecount Mat was tied with Bookwyrm? That wording made it sound like you suspected Bookwyrm tbh I hadn't given much thought to Archer until this turn but since I've got some time I went through his posts - I don't think I wanna village read him, and I can actually see Archer decently paired with a couple of people. First I think E!Archer points to E!Turtle because of how Archer essentially shut down the discussion regarding Turtle early on in Day 1. Quickly looking through his posts, I find e-e potential between him and TUN too, because this post reads slightly performative given TUN's claim was obviously meant as a joke. I also believe xino/archer e/e is not a stretch, given him pushing my exe this cycle (this is defensive of xino, in a way) and him refusing to vote xino D1 upon Araris prompting him following his implied suspicion of xino. And I also don't like people ignoring Alv. He hasn't given a single opinion that I can think of, and didn't see fit to vote last cycle. I'm not confident in reading Alv, but something's off. Going through TUN's posts I see very few takes on people that aren't Szeth. If Szeth was the elim kill, I'd lean v!TUN since cuz if TUN is an elim it looks like he'd been aiming to ML Szeth, so NKing him doesn't make sense. But fwiw I don't think a v!Chana holder would kill Mat, and with the absence of redirects, I'm pretty sure Mat had to have been the elim kill. NKing Szeth makes little sense with me TUN and Archer all sussing him during the night turn. I feel slightly positive about TUN's personal goal of voting more in a more meaningful way that he brought up in D1 - it seems genuine to me. But also I don't know if that should be AI. I need to take a look at JNV's posts at some point, and also chantera/insanity - I'd actually like it if Chana could go after one of these two next. I don't have a solid read on Shining yet, which is weird cuz I'm always suspicious of them otherwise. ._. This is probably worthless coming from me but as an elim I try to village read as few players as possible because 1) e!me is overly cautious about appearing to have tmi, and 2) e!me likes to keep my options open when it comes down to voting in defense of a teammate. Also, voting wiz drew unnecessary attention to me which e!me does not benefit from, in fact it made me look bad. edit: massively ninjad by kas edits- 1292 replies

People didn’t like it when I voted without reasons last game so I made it a point to lay them out now, especially because I know I will likely be unable to engage with the thread a lot since I just don’t have the time to even log on for hours on end. I probably should’ve given a warning while signing up. Will try to give thoughts on the thread tonight- 1292 replies

Long Game 91: A Fresh Start in Shinovar
Stick. replied to Ashbringer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Those two reads aren’t transitive - I’m not saying that all three of them have to be elims, just that I have independent reasons to suspect each. I do agree that if elk flips E then Xino looks good, except elk has not flipped e yet. Instead of pursuing only one line of possibility I think it’s good to consider multiple. I think that Araris voting bookwyrm early could still point to e/e with elk, since you were already suspecting him of being too pushy of the bookwyrm train so hopping on the elk train would’ve been less suspicious- instead he stayed on bookwyrm for the entire turn. I’m not a hundred percent sold on all this but they’re possibilities I’m not discounting. My reasons to suspect Elk have nothing much to do with D2, but rather are more about D1 like I said in my post D2.- 1292 replies
