Thistle Ophelia'd themself pages and pages ago, gotta keep up, I wanna see the reactions happy that @Archer got the reference! Thistle didn't know she was evil... She was just traumatized and depressed Also yeah, I suppose using Keaton is what actually got me outed but hey at that point I thought we were fully conceding -

Awww you guys! The problem with being so successfully evil in the past is that no one will ever trust me again in the future. Like now, when I'm actually village. Also, In honor of my most ardent supporter, Mistfallen Soldier (I love you man, I'm choosing to believe you still have faith in me) Bonus: -

LG110, Day 1-D: The Final Day (Inverted)

It was time to end this. Thistle walked and walked, until they came upon the banks of a rushing river. They slipped their feet into the current. Dying... it had hurt. It was probably going to hurt this time too. But... Goddess. They were so, so tired. Carrying all that hurt loop after loop. Each loss of a friend breaking them piece by piece. They'd died. Actually died. And now they were back again, three days earlier. Their waist dipped below the water. Shockingly cold. It was selfish, they knew it was. But really, this was the best time. No one was going out of the gate to fight a monster today. They were just... debating. No one would miss them. And so, holding tightly to their favorite flowers, they slipped entirely into the river. No more loops. Just... peace. -

I'm apparently a very hot topic of discussion. Everyone's trying to count my rupees and discuss what I could or could not have done. I don't have the brain to go through everything, so just storming exe me and I can chill in the dead doc or something. I've already done my job and given you guys an elim. I know I'm village, but you guys just need to exe 2 elims. I'm sure you guys can manage to exe another elim. Whatever. It'll be nice to be in dead doc. -

--- OK I actually did skim through the last few posts and I'm being accused of stuff? Don't really know what I can say. I bought Truth after saving up all game, used it N2, and didn't have anything to do N3. Take that how you will, im annoyed that we're still not exing the elim I found. Pretty sure that's one of the "combination of factors" but sure, I'm fine with a stick exe, given that we did win last loop. -

I was not expecting this to be the last loop, but it works for Thistle's arc! No analysis from me until I actually get home, but have some rp I wrote on my break --- Thistle woke up. They were in their soft bed, sunlight streaming in through the window over the vioets. No pounding at their door this morning. They sat up, looked out the window. For a long, long, time, they said nothing. Then, slowly, they got up, gathered some things, and walked to the Happy Mask Shop. The ones who remembered, they were there. Speaking, accusing. By the time they got there, Thistle learned that Cindra had already been removed. Thistle thought Cindra a friend. She had been a friend these past loops. Slowly, Thistle did what they came to do. “There’s rosemary, that’s for Cindra.” Laid on her corpse. “Pray you, dear, remember.” “And there is pansies, that’s for Coliver.” Deep thought. “There’s fennel for Kieran, and columbines for Wahi.” Strength and protection. Fortitude, resilience, faith. “There’s rue for Link, and here’s some for me. We may call it herb of grace o’ Sundays. O, you must wear your rue with a difference!” To Heroshi and Arenta, “There’s a daisy. I would give you some violets, but they wither’d all which each loop.” Zymni received a blue nightshade, a flower that glowed in deepest night. "You shine, dear one." For Ap, a single fleet-lotus, for her resilience in the deepest adversity. "You're the strongest one of us here." And a last flower, a beautiful crystal rose. Thistle laid it on the counter. Smiling softly, oddly, they bowed to the assembled crowd, and walked out the store again. Someone called out to her, a voice Thistle knew. But they pulled their cloak tighter around themselves, and ran. -

Well this is exciting! I see I've already missed an entire exe I mean, Haelbarde due to me catching him. Next exe should probably be Drake/Stick then and we should have 2/3 for sure. -
Thistle didn’t look up. They’d put an arm around Ap and was stroking her back, almost mindlessly. “You think it’s just about Amora.” Kieran didn’t seem to know what to say. Thistle gave Ap a small, quick hug, stood, walked to the other side of the cavernous space, nodding for Kieran to follow. Out of Ap’s earshot. “It’s about her." “The apprentice?” Kieran asked. “Her name is Ap. She is eleven years old. She just watched her grandfather die. Twice now she’s been the only one who can play a song while everyone else around her buys her time.” Thistle laughed, mirthless, almost hysteric. “Zymni went missing the last loop. She was killed. Now Amora’s…” They didn’t finish their thought. “I don’t want to do another loop, Kieran.” Thistle said, quietly. Kieran opened his mouth. “Amora will be back. Everyone who died will be back.” his voice was warm, reassuring. “... I don’t want to be back.” Thistle’s voice grew even quieter. Thinking about waking up again in their flower shop, everything back to normal only to fall apart again. Of seeing friends revived only to lose them again. Of the child… Oh Ap… “…I don’t want Ap to be back. That child is eleven years old.” A deep breath. “But she’ll keep rewinding time, and doing it all over again, because its the only thing she knows she can do. Because its what is expected of her. Because we have to get some ‘Great Masks’ or the Moon falls and we all die anyways.” One beat. Two. Thistle turned away. “…Would that be so bad?” Kieran didn’t say anything. Thistle didn’t think there would be anything to say. "Your bandages look okay. Come back to me in an hour if you're still bleeding. I'll have something for you." Not turning back to look at him, Thistle turned and walked back to Ap, sat themselves down again, and stared at nothing. (putting some words into kierans mouth here but yeah, Thistle is... Not well)

Extremely impressed you made doof into Thistle and recreated Lili and Zymni Thistle's voice came in a flat monotone. "Don't do that. It's wet and it's salty from seawater. Try drying it over a fire first." Sighing, they stood. They walked to Kieran, pulling out yarrow and bandages from their satchel, binding his wounds silently. Turned to Wahi, gave them something to numb the pain, splinted his arm. Checked Heroshi and Link for injuries. They were Gorons. They were fine. Lastly, Ap. She didn't seem injured. Just shaken. Thistle understood. Thistle was powerless to help, they were feeling the exact same thing. They sat beside Ap, completely silent, and just stared at the rippling, fleshy walls.

Uh... Is it just me or is anyone getting flashbacks to day 1 this loop? When there's a obvious elim between two people, and everyone's pivoting to a second train for mech reasons? Day 1 it was Burnt is probably evil but she can't afford Stone, we need to exe Coco to be safe. And now it's Hael could very well be evil but we really need to exe Stick to be safe? I know what I saw, and I'm not letting go of the one real piece of information I have.

Time seemed to slow as Thistle watched the Happy Mask Salesman's head gently separate from his body and begin to tumble downwards. Ap was screaming. Kieran and Wahi had pulled out weapons. Desperately, Thistle threw their hands over Lili's eyes, trying to spare them the sight of death. "Cindra?" They called, looking around frantically. "Zymni!" All around the ghosts flowed like smoke, distorting the air. Glimpses of their companions as through water. Behind her, Lili screamed and tried to make herself smaller. And then a figure in front of her, translucent, blade almost incorporeal, but Thistle could still see the head of the Salesman on the floor. Thistle thrust a hand into their satchels, hoping against hope for something of use. The figure grinned, drawing her blade back for a strike. Thistle's fingers wrapped around a bundle and yanked it out, the pirate's blade struck something, and Thistle's bundle of lavender, sage, and rosemary scattered across the deck. The pirate looked around, expression almost bemused, seemingly completely unharmed. So Thistle used the distraction to bring out their silver trowel, slashing its sharp edges across the pirate's neck. I'm sorry for the frustration, not sorry for catching you. To be honest, I did not expect to actually scan you as evil. We all had reasons to distrust Twinstorm more, and we were more following Ash's lead in exeing you to be safe D3. I wanted to scan someone from the dead pool. Honestly you being elim fit in my team comp, but Drake's claim confused me. Either way, you had to offer someone else to be exed instead of yourself. Especially - as you pointed out - Burnt can't take any actions at all and you already had a dead teammate. Again, if people think I have resurrection mask, I'm not afraid to be roleblocked to prove it, but it could also probably be used to make sure Stick also can't do anything just in case.
-
Apologies for claiming and disappearing, in retrospect should not have made a major claim before I was due for bedtime, glad Aman was able to clarify though. Also I'm on mobile so quotes are not going to work very well. To Hael, above, the issue with your claim is 1) Stick was not in danger at all this cycle, you were the one set to be Exed for safety reasons. 2) The resurrect N3 seems unnecessarily complicated. There's no risk exposing myself as evil if I resurrect a elim n2 because then elims would win no matter what. Flipless hell, technically , and I didn't decide. I told TUM and Wahr I was interested in scanning you and Archer because Archer was the one I actually thought evil. I told them both to put the player they wanted scanned in the first post of n2 right after mentioning me, and both said Hael. So really. In my mind then, Hael was just a safety to make sure we weren't wrong with Twin, so it was good judgment on their part. Also this wasn't the specific quote, but yes I have used my one charge of Truth. As TJ said, you can block me as insurance if you distrust me.

I'm not sure what your count is missing. Happy to break it down? 47 rupees L1 (40 Activity, - 5 for postman, 12 rupees delivering letters) 45 rupees L2 (-5 for bunny + 8 (D1B) + 4 (N1B) + 18 (D2B) + 20 (D3B) 10 rupees L3 (10 D1C) = 102 rupees. Not understanding where you're getting the PM numbers, I definitely got more than 8 back from PMs If I was elim and had great fairy mask, i... would have just revived a dead teammate n2? Apologies, I do have to go to bed because its midnight and I have work tomorrow. Maybe @Amanuensis can explain why I got more back in PMs than you thought?
-
To be exact, there's a couple of fun things happening. So Postmasters essentially send mail for free, so i didn't lose rupees sending PMs, which was great. Very sad I don't have it again. So I came into Loop 2 with around 47 rupees. Also bunny mask only started working the night I equipped it, so the first 8 rupees I earned in D1B weren't doubled. Still, I came into Loop 3 with exactly 91 rupees, and I got 10 on D1C. Was only able to send 1 PM that night, and it happened to be the confirmed villager that died Now you see why I didn't go for Stone
-
Yeah I'm honestly surprised no one called me out for having postman loop 1 and bunny loop 2 And then me making absolutely sure I had 10 rupees D1C. And saying "oh I didn't go for a purple" I mean I'm glad no one checked. But I've claimed to the confirmed villagers. Appreciate Wahr and TUM for keeping it discreet until now!
-
Hm. That's interesting. So I've been sitting on this info all day waiting to see what comes out. I really thought the teammate would be Archer, and I'll have to re-evaluate what teams are possible - obviously I don't agree with Wonko's assessment, because here's what I have been doing. Sorry @Ashbringer, I did not go for Keaton. The reason I didn't get a purple D1 was because I was saving for something much better. I PM'd you that night, but that was also the night you died. The Mask of Truth says Haelbarde is a Minion of Mischief.
