"I have distractions!" Thistle called. Running close, they passed Amora and Kieran two or three white, spiky fruits each. "Dazzlefruit," Thistle puffed, "from the mountains. So close to the sun, they soak in and store all that light. That light bursts forth on impact." "Oh, and take these" Kieran and Amora each received another ironshroom. "Toughens the skin. Good luck." Looking around, they spotted another Goron with a bow. To them, Thistle passed two bomb flowers. "You'll have to compensate for weight, but these fruit will literally explode. Be very careful with these." Having passed out their gifts, Thistle returned to the back of the fray, watching carefully to see how else they could contribute.

I don't understand the fish joke can someone fill me in @Mistfallen Soldier I wanted to respond in order, but I feel a little icky about doing it in a way no one else has access to, so I'm including context. Re: yesterday. Hoid Slayer coming in EoD felt odd. Again, not realizing that ties are not random, and asking about buying masks. Also, I see what I got wrong re: Hael. I realize now your position, I thought you were saying that the elims could choose not to kill and still win. So I was wrong about your level of participation. Apologies I suppose that invalidates my soft clear of you. ------ Thistle sucked in a deep breath. Goddess they felt so nervous. The medics... they were doing a good job. Cindra and Nora and others were working hard on patching people up and sending them back in. The fighters needed an edge. The flowers and plants of Termina were beautiful, and many had good and healing properties, and that's why Thistle loved them so much. But the fighters could use more than just mighty thistles and razorshrooms. And that's what Thistle had in the other bag, the one they had packed swiftly but had not touched yet. This was wrong. The thistle was a plant that had a beautiful flower and a painful sting. Here now, was the sting they hoped they'd never have to use. Softly, Thistle approached Ishala's partner - the one with the bow. "Hello. My name is Thistle. I've a plant you might find useful." Slowly, they reached into their bag and produced a bulbous blue fruit with stringy yellow stamen. A flower that thrived in shadow, a few grown in their cellar, many more foraged along the way to Woodfall Temple. A bomb flower.

D : I don't wanna blow up More PMs last night! I love this hat. Mistfallen sent me a long one I don't have time to respond to right now but I want to. Someone sent the same person multiple PMs, which is interesting. Oh ninjad. Yeah unsigned messages are very funny because I can see who PMed who. I will reveal stick and wonko got 2 PMs from the same person, who can reveal themselves if they want. —---— Thistle didn't want to be here. They had no weapon save a stick they picked up for the trek and a bag full of bandages and herbs. They stayed back from the fight, heart pounding in their chest. They'd been roused by one of the other volunteer medics - Nora - and told that the fighters were going deeper into the woods, and she and others was going to help support them. The other medics were good at binding wounds and splinting bones, but they didn't have any healing potions or know much herb lore. So Thistle had to come as well. Along the way, they hung at the back of the train, keeping their eyes out for helpful plants. Clumps of yarrow, some bright berries, truffles or mushrooms, anything that could help give the fighting or injured an edge. But now, as fighters charged in with a terrible cry and clash of metal, all Thistle could do was cower in the back.

Apologies again for the lack of posting, I'm really tired and brains finding it hard to actually analyze anything. Today's been quiet for a day cycle, huh? It's really starting to hit for me that this is going to be a game of stamina, with 2-3 more 9 day loops I am very very sleepy so you're getting a stream of consciousness post from me right now. I see that the vote seems to be on Hael, but I don't know if I share the same suspicions. I do agree that mech advice is NAI and could be easily used by elims to contribute. I think it was just this post from Hael that made me think - this guy really has not been paying attention to the game: This is something that iirc Aman already corrected last cycle, so my conclusion is less than elim trying to fake activity and someone genuinely not paying too close attention. Not that I can blame him, this is a lot. I should be asking people more questions. I see people raising that we should focus on people not paired with Wahr, and that sounds logical to me. Who do we have? Araris, Mistfallen, coco, TJ, Dive. I think something that also confuses me is Archer inviting me to vote on Hoid, but then voting on me today for taking him up on the offer. I wouldn't discount Archer from being on Wahr train. Just from those 5 though, I'd probably want to vote TJ. Mistfallen is in his own category because he's been so active and pushy, and I don't know if i fully trust him but I also am very curious to see what he has to share next loop. Dive, Coco, and Araris occupy the same space in my mind of active, asking questions, pushing people. I do see that Araris voted Wahr yesterday on a misunderstanding, asked Wahr questions, and kept their vote on Wahr anyways, which is funny. But it's also Araris trying to draw our focus on these five and himself, so if he was elim why would he do that? So of the people in that 5, TJ. Goodnight guys

(on mobile rn) Not sure how I'm supposed to respond to this honestly I mean since my return I usually open messages with "hi are you evil and want to role swap?" because it's just funny? Perhaps it's the more limited nature of this games PMs that made it seem less jokey and more urgent. /shrug I wouldn't be too fussed about being exed if it clears me, there's just a couple of caveats. Firstly, and I don't mind claiming this now, if the five people I messaged yesterday wanted to kill me for my mask, they could have done it last night. I'm the postmaster today, and I would like to continue sending PMs If anyone wants to track PMs sent yesterday, burnt and me were the only ones who sent PMs in the day, and Mistfallen in the night. The second thing is I'd be happy to be exed if it clears me and frankly id be a lot happier chatting in a doc, but we're not sure yet if the dead are getting cleared this loop. @archer just saw your post it was always intended to be a merged post I was playing catchup then analyzing bases on those notes it's something I lean on when thete are more than 3 pages of catch up Edit: also that accent is offensive. It was more like MUAHAHAHA BOW BEFORE DOC TELL ME ALLLLL YOUR MISRABLE SECRETS! Still going to not be in most of this morning and afternoon, but will be on in the evening before rollover.

The problem for me personally is that I'm still playing this like a regular game of SE, trying to play socially because I can't predict mechanically. Everyone else is doing that, and I'm just trying to read people and figure out what they're actually saying. All the speculating whether we should try to throw the loop or whether the elims are aiming to throw the loop or pivoting is still going over my head right now, and ties not being random and deaths being flipless is messing with my suspect method more than I bargained for. Can't see why someone might have jumped on or hopped off the Wahr train. Can't draw conclusions from people suggesting counterwagons. Reading through today, feel like we're spinning in circles because from my understanding of the game, all this discussion on Ash and Wahr's alignments is kind of moot because there's no point speculating or analyzing those until the loop is over and we see if we won the loop. Looking back at who I'm hesitant to exe, I'm keeping Dive, maybe Burnt, and Mistfallen. Courtesy pause still on Hael and Araris. Everyone else is open season. In terms of people I think it would be interesting to exe, one of Archer or Wonko, now that it's D3. In terms of actions that make me feel weird, I feel like TJ and TUM coming on at the end of the day to vote feels performative. Mistfallen is communicating with Archer (just Archer, which is kind of weird) in some kind of code they've somehow put together, which seems like a whole lot of effort to go to if they're both e! I can read between the lines and figure out what mask they're claiming, and it's useful, for sure. Interested to see what you find out tonight, so don't want to exe Mistfallen today. @Mistfallen Soldier genuine question why are you only communicating with Archer and not say, Wonko? You sent me a PM last night, didnt' see fit to share a code with me
-
Oh hi this is fun Impressed that you remembered I was Malaysian . You did not remember, however, that I am an unrepentant role fisher and have never once advocated for PM safety (Also I am in the US now I just had work and also had stuff after work) Love that you just have your own code now Couple things here - firstly, voting on Hoid. To quote someone last night, "You ever go through a drive through and they tell you the thing you want to order isn't available? And there's cars behind you honking while you make up your mind? So you say 'just give me whatever's popular' but that's got pickles (you hate pickles). Eventually you settle on the fourth most popular option just to get out of there with something " You offered me to vote with me on someone I wanted to exe, so I did, wondering if that would also trigger Hoid to do something in response /shrug. Secondly, the obvious read is e!Wahr after you made a whole post on how his actions make you think v? Thirdly, I wish you had tried that I would have known. (you didn't get six)

She's alive! XD Thistle nods, a little too fast. "Thank you, Cindra, I'm going to keep searching now." Cindra was still looking at them with eyes full of worry, and Thistle got the nagging suspicion that the worry was less for their friend than Thistle themselves. "If you're going to tell me to rest, I can't." Resting would mean sitting again and letting everything crash into them. Their store, abandoned. Zymni, forgotten in the tumult. A dozen faces in agony amidst the mud and trees whose pain Thistle couldn't entirely ease. If they could find Zymni, then perhaps. Perhaps they could settle enough to rest. Thistle smiled at Cindra again, too-bright. "I'm going to check the outskirts of the palace - I'll be safe, don't worry." A pause. "Thank you, again... I don't know if I had the chance to thank you, for getting me out..." A deep breath. "I... I'm sorry our plans to make flower crowns didn't work out... that would have been so much fun."
-
Deku Omnivore Thistle sagged with relief at a familiar face. "Cindra! You're here! I didn't know who made it and who... didn't." They looked around again, wildly. "It's... it's my friend, Zymni. She's... uh. Not from around here - sensitive to sunlight. I found her hiding from the sun while foraging one day, and she... followed me home and I let them stay with me and work at my shop." They bit back a choked sob. "She was so excited for the Hero's Carnival, and I...lost her. I lost her when the chaos started and I haven't seen her since and I've been too busy to look for her - Goddess, i’ve been too busy to look for her - and now I don't even know if she's alive!" Cindra was saying something - making comforting noises that slid off Thistle’s ears. Suddenly all they could hear was their heartbeat pounding in their ears. They tried to focus on Cindra’s face, her wide, concerned eyes. Thistle attempted to steady their breathing. “She’s young, dark-skinned, bright eyes, loves to hide in shadows, which is why I’m checking all of them.” To anyone looking, Thistle’s face sharpened in single-minded determination, having found a purpose to cling onto. “Could you… Could you help keep an eye out for her?” @Wonko the Sane is Zymni alive XD

Hoid stood out to me because he seems inactive because he hasn't contributed meaningfully, but was also watching the thread and posting every so often. Now I understand that Hoid stated in sign-ups that he was going to be like this regardless of alignment, it doesn't mean anything, really. At worst he's active but unhelpful villager, at best he's an elim who's monitoring the thread but staying purposefully uninterested. The fact that he didn't do anything end of cycle when I was watching for him to do something does not quite line up with my theory, though. I think I'm following, and your narrative does make sense - what do you make of his pivot away from Wahr at the end of the day and asking me to vote on someone I suspected? You guys are weird My analysis yesterday took me almost 3 hours, while I can write a full page of rp in like ten minutes. Analysis requires me to take notes on what everyone's saying, cross reference with what they said from other days, look for connections, and condense all they've said and done into a reads list. it makes my head hurt XD ------------------- For being a florist, Thistle had never been to the Deku Kingdom. To them, dekus were obviously plants, but...different. Can't make a bouquet out of dekus... Had they slept? Was it the same day? No... it couldn't have been - they traveled through the night. They had traveled with the injured, and tried to tend to them in the anteroom. But then some Dekus had waved them off, insistently. They found a pot of stew pressed into their hands, which they ate without tasting. It was a while - an hour? more? - before she realized she was still sitting on the floor, bowl empty with flecks of dried stew. They shook themselves. A passing Deku quirked its head at them in concern. Thistle just gave them a sheepish smile, and got up again. Where was everyone? They wandered off to be alone, but suddenly Thistle was desperate for a familiar face. Names of recent strangers... Coliver, Avery, Amora, Cindra... where were they? ...Zymni... They hadn't seen Zymni since the events of last night. Had they traveled with someone else? Were they still in Termina, all alone, hiding from the sun? Thistle stood, and started trying to find a familiar face, checking all the while every deep shadow they saw.

Cutting it close for RP but this is fun! Thistle looked up, there was a (I believe you're a zora?) woman offering her hands, looking slightly glassy-eyed, the way Thistle felt. They took the woman's hands, and though Thistle's own hands were also trembling they steadied each other. "Thank you for coming, friend. Breathe for me. In and out. We can help best if we're not panicking either." When Coliver's breathing came a little steadier, Thistle put her to work. "Bandages are in short supply, and I'm trying to conserve the hearty food for serious injuries. Folks have been volunteering some of their garments to rip up for bandages - you can help with ripping those up, or if you know herb-lore you can help me find yarrow to stem bleeding. Can you do that for me, Coliver?" Another figure, also looking lost. Thistle took a deep breath. "Hey, you too. You're with us, and you're healthy. Do you want to be useful?" The man might have nodded, or maybe they were just shaking. Either way. "Keep watch for us or help us rip up bandages."

I'm game. Wahr Hoid Slayer Still don't think this vote will gain traction within the next hour but yeah, Wahr's behavior doesn't quite ring alarm bells for me the way its doing for others. And I do think there's a marked difference in Hoid Slayer's play that's uncomfortably similar to when we were last evil together.
-
Oh. i was not, no. I don't know, I mean my usual strategy when voting is to go for ties when possible, because EoD scrambling can be very informative when an elim is in danger and they don't want to be exed. but now there's no tie, my vote is essentially useless. it does seem like with an hour left not much is going to change. I feel like changing my vote to Hoid, but that won't do anything either, so I'm going to just put my vote on Wahr then. Archer

Thistle wasn't a fighter. They were a florist. Not a medic, either. a florist. And yet, in the chaos, they had to pick a role, and they picked 'helper'. Grateful to Amora and Cindra for helping her pack up as much of their herbs and plants as possible, they began rationing out extracts and raw herbs. Armoranth and Ironshroom to protect civilians wading into the fight. Razorshrooms, mighty thistles and bananas for the soldiers to increase their strength. Hyrule herb and hearty vegetables for the injured. Stamella shrooms and endura carrots for the flagging. To those who could not fight, they offered some Puffshrooms for emergency escapes. Thistle had to ration. Their stock, while large, was also limited, and they couldn't afford to use everything before they knew when they could return to their store. Perhaps they could forage? Not right now, in the midst of the battle, but perhaps... Stowing away their bag for now, they returned to the injured, helping bind wounds and splint bones. Helping out however they could. Goddess, help us...

Alright, let's see. Gonna try and rate on how willing I am to exe this cycle. First of all, the two that kind of dominated last night and early today's discussion. Both have said they're willing to be exed, and I'm less suspicious of that now because it seems dumb for an elim to say they want to be exed and skip the nk. Honestly want to save them til D3 to decide whether to exe. Wonko: I don't know. Their responses here, again, seem genuine, and they're responding in back-and-forths? Willing to exe. It's mostly tone for me so far. Tbh I've played with Wonko before but it's been so long I do not remember much of how they used to play and if its similar. Hesitant to exe. Archer: Doing a lot of voting. Instinctive trust because they're so confident, which I don't like lol. On the whole, not really that much of a fan of your derp clears/light village reads, even if you're clearing me. You seem to be monitoring for slip-ups and 'elims wouldn't say this in thread'. In my mind, especially if you or Wonko are e! I can easily see you guys talking in the elim doc and also posting it in thread because 'look at us we're too transparent'. Hesitant to exe. In the very active and mostly helpful bucket, there's: Mistfallen: Very active, asking lots of questions and saying so much. Not a fan of whatever they were doing with Archer on the numbers. I noted those exchanges as 'cryptic' and just moved on >>. Hesitate to ascribe a read because as mentioned, they're pretty good with high-activity posting that makes them seem very informative and trustworthy. They don't want to be exed and its pretty clear they have a mask they want to use, so. Honestly willing to exe, but also interested to see what they get up to tonight. Dive: Generally helpful is the vibe I get from the skimming. I find myself generally agreeing with everything they're saying. Hesitant to exe. Coco: Seems engaged, asking and answering questions. I was also going to call out the lack of a vote but they just dropped one. Overall, like their energy, but nothing explicitly makes me think village or elim. Hesitant to exe, Burnt: Some mechanics discussion, some reads. Read a lot of people village. Was one of the first? I think to discuss voting for people we want in dead doc, but later agrees to vote for elim. I hesitate to read anything into this really. Burnt's someone I knew from before I went on hiatus, and I knew never to fully trust her then Willing to exe. Araris: The thing I noticed with Araris going through is I like how he's asking questions of the people he's voting on and trying to get reactions out of them. It's just good practice and actually makes applying pressure useful. Sticking on Wahr atm. Still kind of neutral for me. Willing to exe. Wahr: Wahr's first game was QF78 and I want to say his behavior right now is not that unusual. They were also pretty defensive and retaliatory that game, with that sense of righteous indignation. No idea if elim this game their behavior would necessarily change. Willing to exe. CD: People have cited them being too eager to be seen as village, repeatedly saying how nice it would be to be hard cleared. Part of me wonders if this is bait. No true feelings. Willing to exe to see if their tone changes when actually under fire. Hoid: Honestly one of my bigger suspects right now. If I thought it would do anything, I would vote for Hoid. Their behavior reminds me of the last time I was evil with them, where they came in halfway and professed that they were paying little attention and just causing chaos, and because of that managing to skirt by until endgame. They're just engaged enough to show they're following along but also they just 'don't care' to actually analyze and are just here for the chaos. Willing to exe. Unknown: I never trust Unknown, especially when they're quiet. It's just a general playstyle thing. MR75 has been brought up when they were just in the background and only voted to 'tie votes' and hammer at the end. QF78 was also a case when they were the serial killer, and was mostly in the background unless specifically called out. They can be genuinely busy. I tried PMing them a lot last game and they genuinely forgot to put kills in sometimes, so it's kind of a wash for Unknown, just that I generally don't trust him especially if he's lurking. Willing to exe next day. Hael: Busy, says analysis coming later. I do remember helpful advice earlier about PM safety and all that. solidly neutral. hesitant to exe. Ash: As far as I can see has only made one discussion post which is a response to Wonko asking when they thought elims decided to skip the NK. Really not enough to tell right now. Willing to exe next cycle. TJ: Not really here. (Ninjaed, here now.) Waiting for more. HG/Stick: Not really here? Sticks here, but hasn't said much. Probably also still trying to get caught up. Willing to wait for more. Current Vote Count Wonko (1) Dive Archer (2) Wonko, CD Hael (1) Archer Wahr (4) Mistfallen, Araris, Coco, TJ CD (1) Stick Mistfallen (1) Wahr I'm ok with exeing Wahr, and it seems pretty set with a 2 vote lead. Still. Kind of interested to see what happens in the event of a tie. I know I said I was hesitant to exe Archer, but he is still someone I don't know if I trust, so. Archer. Worst case scenario Wahr still gets exed, best case we see some End of Day scrambling that might tell us something. Post Doc vote count Wonko (1) Dive Archer (3) Wonko, CD, Doc Hael (1) Archer Wahr (4) Mistfallen, Araris, Coco, TJ CD (1) Stick Mistfallen (1) Wahr Guys I spent almost 3 hours on catching up an analysis, you're going to be lucky if you get anything more than RP out of me rest of night Feel free to ask me questions and I'll try to answer though!

I also agree that public information favors the village, as elims are much more powerful when villagers are too afraid to communicate to each other. Interesting, I must have missed that. Yeah I was trying to get my RP in last night because I realized I had more discussion posts than RP. But at that point in the night I had already shared my thoughts on players and there didn't seem much to discuss without a death so far. The funny thing is that last night I wouldn't have wanted to vote on Wonko or Archer because at that point we believed the elims intended to lose the loop, because that seemed to be the optimal strategy as stated by the above two. So I was not going to vote on them because I thought it better to keep an eye on them but deny them their requests to be voted just in case they were elims using us to put an elim in the dead doc. But now that there wasn't a NK and it seems like the plan is to win the loop, I'm not sure anymore. It doesn't make sense to want to be exed now that there's going to be a smaller pool - maybe 4? - of people that if the elims throw the loop they'll find themselves in. I don't quite like the line of thinking that we should be exeing people we want/don't want to be in the dead doc just yet. Maybe it's a good idea if we are going to get hard-cleared villagers, and having committed to no NK last night the elims might not be able to pivot their strategy... Still. I don't like how Wonko and Burnt and Mistfallen seem to be saying 'lets focus on people we trust and want in the dead doc' rather than exploring who they're actually suspicious of. I don't know, I said I would vote on people I'm suspicious of, and so I might still vote on Wonko and Archer, but I also want to avoid the entire cycle's discussion focusing on them. I'll do another reread and come back with a reads list later in the day. The problem is this ain't traditional PMs From what I'm reading it sounds more like once-per-cycle dead drops. I am still intending to PM people, but there isn't really going to be room for PM chatting. I'd quite like to be in a doc, but I'm not volunteering to be exed just yet. Also I don't have enough rupees to PM everyone, so don't be insulted if one of you doesn't get a PM. --------------------------- Thistle was walking. One foot in front of the other. They looked up every so often, each time surprised to see they were in a different place. Their shop. The South Gate. The road. Now by a forest. "...of explosions...single Skull Kid" "...missed smokehouses...meats....this is." People were speaking, but Thistle wasn't really hearing. Things had just stopped registering after the South Gate. "...moon... insane... girl...translate." "...cultists...world is a dream...dying god" Just this morning - yesterday morning? They hadn't slept... they had been excited and ready for the Carnival. Now they were...running? From who? From what? "explosions... so many didn’t make it... So many gone…" The Moon. The explosions. Thistle hadn't seen any masked people, but everyone was talking about a Skull kid... Thistle wasn't old enough to remember 33 years ago, but they knew the stories... People were already talking about the Moon. Thistle didn't want to look up to see what it looked like. They just wanted to keep walking. "they’re here...civilians...doing something so horrible" Thistle shook their head. Where was everyone? They remembered... the shop. The woman with the flute and fiery hair, and the other woman with a kind voice who had helped her pack... And Zymni.... they hadn't seen or heard Zymni since the explosions... and it was daytime... Then suddenly, their attention was drawn to - was that a Deku scrub? A walking one? No - it was... a being - it looked like someone wearing a deku mask but Thistle had no idea what body was - not Hylian, Zora, or Goron... Something about that strange sight made Thistle's brain start working again. It was a Deku that wasn't immediately hostile, that was interesting enough - a Deku trying to communicate? Thistle knew plants... Thistle could try and talk to it... Making their way over to the deku-person, Thistle examined the...mask? and the body - it was all woody and barklike... "H...Hello," Thistle said, falling into step beside them. "My name is Thistle... I'm a florist. I'd love to learn how to communicate with you, if you're willing to try..."
-
Evacuate??? No! Their shop! The shop was Thistle's entire life! Abandoning all their new companions, Thistle ignored the shouting guards and ran. Running against the flow, ducking and weaving through a crush of bodies, Thistle ran until their breaths came ragged and they stood before their store. They ran inside, collecting their rupees and shoving herbs and flowers into a knapsack. Were they considering evacuating? They were packing almost on instinct... They had to go, right? But the guards probably wouldn't check every store. Whatever was coming might pass Thistle by entirely. What if there were looters? What if the shop burned down? No. They couldn't leave. They couldnt... And yet they ran around trying to think about what they could save and what to leave behind. But they weren't leaving. They couldn't... (Someone might have to actually drag Thistle out)
-
I happen to know 12 Thistle was supposed to run straight home. But Zymni still hadn't said anything and they couldn't help glancing back at their shadow every so often, and kept seeing things out of the corner of their eyes. A Goron (@Haelbarde) preparing to run into a flaming building. "Sir! Take some cool safflinas - you won't need them, but the people in those buildings might!" A man with a broken arm (@Wahrheitswächter), calling for a doctor. Thistle couldn't find a doctor in this press, but they could offer a Hyrule Herb. "Here, eat this. It's better cooked, but even raw it has medicinal properties that can tide you over." Cindra (@Burnt Spaghetti), running around in a panic. "Cindra! Come with me, we can shelter at my store!" They press a Swift Violet into her hands. "Follow me!" But then they ran into another, a woman (@coco.pudding)throwing her own safety to the wind to pick up the fallen and pull trapped strangers from the wreckage. Thistle wanted to get them to come too, but something in the woman's eyes told Thistle that she was going to try and help everyone on their path. "Mighty bananas. They'll boost your strength. Collect anyone you save and come to Fairy Flowers!"

I am hilariously behind. I've never been good at distro/mechanic solving, and this game seems to require a lot of it. I joined the game for the time looping, dead don't stay dead mechanic. I wasn't expecting it to be d1 and people are doing math and coming to the conclusion that a mask was unobtainable, or for people to already plot out every possible elim action. It's a lot of fun so far! I just want to apologize for being utterly unhelpful in mechanics discussion. I've already shared that I do think Wonko and Archer are being too helpful, but I'm not quite sure about your reasoning here re: brainstorming elim strategy in thread. the elims whole thing is that they don't have a doc, so they would be brainstorming in doc. I would actually credit Archer re: elim strategy in that there are many things that he did not have to make the village aware of and could have kept in the doc. I don't know - i go back and forth. I think the loop 1 strategy, while completely new to me, is not new to people who have played Resistance and are familiar with meta strategies. So it's quite possible that they're both e! and talked about in doc, or one or both of them is v! and they came up with the idea independently. The other thing that sticks out is Archer volunteering for the d2 exe. Quick thoughts. I think the thing that sticks out here is Archer volunteering for D2 exe, which right now makes me more hesitant to actually exe him. Archer literally said the elims should kill one of their own to lose the cycle and ensure there aren't any hard clears. And now they're saying 'I want to be exed'. I said I was sorry

"Zymni, where are you?" Thistle was on the ground where they had tripped and fallen, their heartbeat pounding loud in their ears. They had managed to roll under a table to avoid being trampled as people screamed and panicked all around. They didn't understand what was happening, they had been on their way to the plaza and then... They had thought the sound was fireworks, but then the screaming had begun, and a mob was running every which way, and Thistle had turned to run too, only to be knocked around and to trip on a loose flagstone. From their point of view, boots were still running past their hiding spot, and oh goddesses was that a rolling Goron - Thistle dove out of the way just as the bulk of the Goron smashed the table they had been hiding under and splintered it. "Zymni!" They had to get back to their shop - back to their shop, and then they could barricade it, be safe inside - but where was Zymni? "I hope you're somewhere here, Zymni..." Thistle checked their shadow again - was it darker? it was night, who could tell? Thistle picked themselves up. Alright. The fastest way through their shop was still through the plaza. And now that the crowd had run away from the plaza and the Tower, it would probably be safer to run that direction than risk getting trampled again. Alright. Through the Plaza, to the East ward, to their shop. Thistle took a deep breath, and started running in the direction of their shop. ---------------------- So from what I'm seeing even with the new information, there's still no way the Fierce Deity mask can really come into play other than in Loop 5 with perfect play ie:getting postman and bunny each cycle and also relying on everyone alive to be sending PMs. Which works out because I had already thought that there was no point in trying to aim for that mask I'm a reads player, but I admittedly really skimmed a lot. So I'm bunching people into groups for now. There hasn't really been any accusations or reason to find people suspicious yet, so I'm kind of grouping people into the order by which they're present/giving information. I've often said that mechanical advice is usually neutral alignment because it allows you to contribute while not giving any actual views or thoughts on other players, which is something I still stand by, so. Most prominent: Archer and Wonko. For better or worse, they dominated D1 discussion and laid out in very clear terms what the stakes are for the elims. I'm not sure if I find one of them more or less suspicious - Wonko gave out a strategy first and Archer said he wanted to wait til the NK, both actions could be suspicious. Also very active: Mistfallen, Divergent- engaging with Wonko and Archer on discussions. Consistently active and helpful: Burnt, Hael, Coco, Wahr - PM safety, mask math, asking many questions Present: Araris, TUM, CD, myself - some analysis, some math, some views. Mostly absent: Honor's Ghost, Ashbringer, TJ My gut read right now is that Wonko's earnestness seems genuine. I'm not sure about Archer, just because my last game with him he was also very active and encouraging and was an elim. I don't know. Things that are a little glaring and push them from warning us about elim plays to actively tipping off elims are things like Archer suggesting the elims NK more than one of themselves to muddle the pool, or Wonko saying how much the Great Fairy Mask would help the elims. Good things to keep in mind, but probably not very helpful to announce in thread.
