She's alive... Thistle could still scarcely believe it. To be honest, they don't think they've fully absorbed everything that had happened within the last 12 or so hours. Or the last... two? Five? days... Goddess... In the last 12 hours alone, Zymni had vanished. Possibly been - no -. Vanished. Possibly just hiding. No one was lurking in the dark killing - well. The people after Ap were... The Quartermaster? They shook their head violently. Zymni's missing. Not dead, missing. And Ap could rewind time. And Ap had just... exploded. Exploded, but then a fairy had appeared, and Ap was suddenly here, alive and well... Still on her quest to... find the temple. Something about a Mask she needed. Thistle barely remembered the details of the last day of the last loop. They remembered the Giant, in flashes. They remembered running. They barely remembered the Skull Kid and how Ap had done...whatever she had done. Thistle didn't pretend to understand. Ap was off again, transforming into a different form. Charging ahead. Something about mines. hidden explosives. They needed a way across the gap. Thistle didn't have a way to make a bridge, but they did have a way to slow the Quartermaster down when they arrived. Heading to the back of the party, They cast seeds across the frozen ground, humming a simple growing song. Not really magic. Just a song that plants liked. Slowly, yet far more quickly than should have been possible, plants growing in hours their equivalent in days, a tangle of briars and thorns flourished across the path, ready to severely slow down anyone that tried to follow. "I've got the back blocked. But I don't know how to make a bridge" Thistle said. "I can make rope, if anyone needs some." ----------- I am having a lot of fun with the RP this game, so I drew some characters - thank you, anyone who has been RPing with Thistle! (This isn't much Aman, but happy celebration ) (I drew characters as I imagined them, so if Wonko, Burnt, Coco and Aman want some details changed very happy to do so)

This is very funny because of the game that I tunneled on Mistfallen and turned out to be right What is your rationale on Mistfallen? For myself I just have the nagging worry that he was trying to pocket me when he gave me the strongest clear he could and tying himself to my alignment. The aggression has flagged a little but I'm also flagging about halfway into the game. Also a lot of people seem to be changing their minds on coco. First Araris and now you're willing to be convinced?
-
It's a very quiet cycle. One leading train and a scattering of 1 votes. I have an urge to develop a second train just to see if people switch around. @Haelbarde @TwinStorm where are you guys? @Araris Valerian if you're not interested in a coco exe who would you rather exe? @coco.pudding I am a little conflicted, you don't sound defensive as much as defeated. Who would you vote on this cycle? Same question for @Burnt Spaghetti @Ashbringer Are you still sticking with Archer?
-
Huh, quiet day today. That's nice that I don't have 3 pages to catch up on I really want to just exe Archer, because their vote hopping is so inconsistent. But if they do blow Araris up tonight, that's a net win? Well if not Archer, then coco. these are the two that's been deciding the exes this loop so it makes sense to try exeing one of them. I still can't read Archer. Volunteering to blow themselves up, very fun, and we've agreed that more dead does help village. It's just how eager they've been to jump around, even voting for Twinstorm when confronted with resistance about Stick. Blowing themselves up could be an attempt to get an elim in the deadpool if there isn't one already or to throw the loop while seeming heroically village. My current thoughts are Archer/Coco, Burnt, one of Hael/Twinstorm as we really have not read them much, and maybe Stick and one of TJ/Dive.
-
I suppose that more applies to Archer than you - Araris was leading at 3-2 (TJ)-2(Coco) before Archer made it 3(Araris) 3(TJ) 3(Coco), and you switched to TJ making it 2(araris) 4(TJ) 2(Coco). So Archer left the leading train, making it a tie, and you finalized the vote by moving off Araris onto TJ. It could just be that both of you are the most active during rollover, I just think it's interesting that Dive's exe and TJ's exe had you two moving your votes within the last few hours. Ash and TUM definitely contributed to the Dive exe, but they're confirmed, which is why I'm looking at you and Archer. That said, Araris' mask claim is definitely the weirdest thing that happened. I am in favor of an Araris exe now. Win or lose, it could also give context to Araris' suspicion of Archer and Coco. A fairy... Thistle knew fairies existed. They'd been lucky enough to spot some when they foraged for blooms in the woods outside Clock Town, even if they'd never been silent enough to get close before they flew away, tinkling with laughter. The stories said if you could capture a fairy in a bottle, they'd grant you a single wish to let them go. Thistle had never tried. It would've been cruel. Thistle had been... numb. Not really knowing how much time had passed since the explosion. They could have knelt there for days for all they knew, except that everyone else was still crowded around the ravine. But the fairy... Fairies were said to be able to heal any injury, no matter how dire... Magic. Real magic... After bombs and fire and giant swords and so much injury and death... Fairies... the idea that the extraordinary had taken an interest in the ordinary... The slightest spark of hope. They tried to smother that hope immediately, of course. Their heart had just been broken. They couldn't afford to hope... Oh Goddess, oh goddess please. Magic... But still... it was enough to get them to their feet. To shamble, haltingly, towards the small, winged speck of light teasing them.

On mobile right now so I'm not going to bother with formatting. I don't get why TJ was under so much fire, especially after so much analysis (which I admittedly only skimmed) I get the accusation that only posting when under threat was weird, but I also understand how hard it can be to catch up on this game when already behind, and I really appreciated the effort he was putting in. I looked back at the votes end of cycle, and while it was pretty heated at the end, there wasn't that much vote movement. So araris was set to be exed, 3 to coco and Tj's 2. Then he claimed blast mask, so Mistfallen voted on coco making a 3 to 3 with araris and coco. I switch to araris making it 4 to 3 because burnt wasnt getting exed and I believed the blast claim to be a last minute bluff to escape the exe (speaking of which, I suppose everyone has the blast mask now, so I'll just say I also have it :p) at this point TJ is still at 2. Then archer switches to TJ because analysis only when high pressure was sus, making it 3 votes all around for Araris Coco and TJ. Then Coco self presses by voting tj, pushing him over to 4. Its interesting because this is the second time this loop with closely tied votes when Archer jumps off the leading train to a trailing one that eventually does get exed. The second thing is thst coco probably didn't NEED to self pres because tj and araris had nowhere near the activity she had and she was not in danger during the tie. It's just interesting that again, as with Dive, it's Archer and coco vote switching end of cycle that decided the exe, switching from a leading train to a secondary one. I don't know. Burnt - archer - coco team? Araris was already linking archer and coco, so if they were a team they'd probably want to switch to him but they didn't... @Archer 2 questions: 1. did I get the riddle right 2. At the end of the day, why vote tj when you were interested in araris from the start ?
-
Storms you guys were busy during rollover >.> Don't know what to think of that result. I rather liked TJ's effort, especially for coming so late into the cycle. Would rather Coco or Araris have died than TJ. I don't have the brain for analysis right now. going to write some rp and go to bed. @Ashbringer Thistle tells you her child friend is missing. Amora: She'll be okay, let's look together! Coliver: She might be dead! I was killed! -------- "...Killed?" Thistle's eyes grew wide with horror. "After I saw you? In the forest? Who? How?" They glance towards Amora, "You don't think...?" Killed. Killed. Killed. Perhaps not simply missing, but killed. Thistle shot up. "I'm going to find Ap. If she can...reset time, I need her to do it now." --------- Thistle was a little too late to reach Ap - by the time they'd figured out where she was, the apprentice was already deep in conversation with the Business Scrubs. And then after that she'd jumped on invisible ledges to the Shrine. And then... and then... And then arms wrapped around Thistle and stopped them from going over the edge - whether a desperate unthought-out rush to save the apprentice or simply to hurl themselves down too. Thistle wasn't thinking anymore. They were just screaming. Just... screaming.
-
I suppose it was a form of reaction testing - I think in my mind the reasoning was if e!Burnt, then Coco and Archer come under suspicion for getting Dive exed. In this case, Coco was willing to vote Burnt, but Archer was more interested in Araris or TJ. There was also a case for v!Burnt, where I would expect elims to want to vote on expecting an easy misexe. So that's why I wanted to restart the train. Hi TJ, when you get going, you get going I really like this analysis, I think you articulated way better why Burnt would be an interesting exe. -- I was going to put a vote on Araris since I actually liked TJ a lot more since they came in this round, but then Araris claimed Blast Mask, saying that if we wanted him dead we could target him at night. The problem is I feel this only hurts the village and takes away a good elim catching tool. Elims aren't going to target you now that you've claimed that, and village Scents/Bremen would be killing themselves if they targeted you. So we now have a situation where we can only either believe you and no one can target you the rest of the loop, or exe you and possibly lose the blast mask, which, again, has lost all its threat. Burnt Araris. Thistle stumbled at the interruptions, flashing a quick, worried smile at Amora and... Collie? She knew that Zora, but the name... Stars. "Hello!" They smiled, brightly, "I, yes, I remember you, you were helping me, back at... the forest. I... didn't see you after, at the temple. Have you been alright?" Then, turning to Amora, "It's Zymni... she's left my side again, and I'm so worried I left her behind somehow. It's so bright out here, on the mountain, she must be so uncomfortable, but I've checked as many of the dark rooms as I'm allowed in! I mean, she's very good at hiding and getting into dark places she shouldn't be, but... I'm worried... she's... Well, she's not a child, but she still doesn't know a lot about the world... Have you seen her?" ---- Everytime I want to RP, I think how is Thistle doing? And the answer is always bad.
-
Zymni was missing, again. Thistle did their best not to worry. They were in a new place, and Zymni loved exploring new places. She'd usually stick with Thistle, but when she got impatient it wasn't unheard of for her to sneak between other people's shadows... Could they have accidentally left her behind again? Thistle had been distracted in the morning, had forgotten their vow to not let go of Zymni's hands until they were safe again. Could Zymni be sheltering in a shadowy crag outside, unable to reach them? Thistle wandered from shop to shop, checking shadows urgently. Maybe they could find Cindra, Amora, they've seen Zymni, they could also keep a look out for her... "Zymni, don't you do this to me again..." they hiss under their breath. "Zymni please..." They break into a run, increasingly fearful. "Zymni, where are you??"

My PMs! The blast mask conversation last night was interesting - I admit I'm still not the best at following the mechanics. The gist I got was that more dead villagers is better? So my understanding of the debate is Mist saying - more dead this cycle makes it easier to isolate next loop. With 8 dead and 8 alive, win or lose, we can go from there? And Wonko is saying Elims can choose not to NK, which Mist responds by saying if Elims choose not to NK then we choose not to trigger the mask. Okay, now that I actually spelled it out to myself I guess I do see the argument. But I suppose that plan is shot anyways with PMs no longer active. Why is this still an option? We can't explode the blast mask ourselves anymore can we? I mean we could send Bremen and Scents but we'd be shooting in the dark and losing valuable masks. Apologies, but could you explain this sentence a little more? What's does PM cutoff mean here? How does Burnt being an obvious teammate with Mistfallen square with Burnt becoming a counterwagon to Mistfallen? I thought they wouldn't be e-e based on the way the trains switched mid-cycle. Also Archer, you wanted to zero in on me and Araris early this cycle, but are now on TJ? Solved your cipher for Burnt too, btw. Can I get one for myself? I don't know what to think of TJ - I know he hasn't really been here. I remember giving him a quick catchup when he asked L2D1, but I don't think we've seen him since? If e!TJ, who would his teammates be? Feel similarly null about Araris - Archer does have a point that they've been sparse. He's definitely more engaged than TJ, but has a similar level of presence for me. It's funny that he's lampshading that he is within his own suspect pool given his parameters. Lastly, surprised that we're not just exeing Burnt from last cycle.
-
I'm always happy to PM people. Thistle flushed so red they probably matched the shade of a terminian tomato. Suddenly extremely aware of how close Amora was. "I, ah, gah." They elbowed Zymni who had started snickering under her layers of clothing. "I... thank you" they managed, trying so, so hard to keep their tone even. "Goddess, Amora, you're as brave as a Lynel. I'm just a little cucco." WHY WERE THEY REFERRING TO THEMSELVES AS A CUCCO
-
Thistle startled. "Hey!" Shrunk, embarassed, "Amora! I'm..." a helpless shrug, "doing as well as can be expected." They looked around again, the mountains seemingly no closer for how long they'd walked. "Cindra helped me, I... I'm sorry for falling apart, back when... the giant? I was trying so hard to be helpful, and then I sort of...couldn't anymore..." They didn't look at Amora. The other woman was probably trying to be kind, but Thistle didn't deserve that kindness. "This is a bad dream...How did the Hero do this? Is it... just going to happen again if we fail?" They shoot a look at the young apprentice, walking determinedly ahead. "How many times is this going to happen? How many chances do we get? How... how many times are we going to have to walk out of our town, tired and afraid?" A sigh. "I'm sorry. I... I didn't remember at first, and I almost wish I didn't remember... It was easier, not knowing that it had had... happened before, will happen again, even if its a little different this time..." "I'm sorry, this is a lot" Embarrassed again, especially in front of strong, stoic Amora. Goddess they wished they were as strong and measured as Amora. "I... I'm here. And I'm trying my best. We all have to look out for each other... right?"
-
Honestly surprised the postmaster hasn't popped up to protest that we're discussing sending them at the blast mask XD I'd be upset. Noticing their friends begin to shiver, Thistle handed Cindra a spicy pepper. "It's not as effective on its own - you might actually want to hold onto it until we make camp and I can cook it into some meat skewers, but if you're too cold a hot pepper is just the thing to warm you up." They looked around at the ragtag group. They were beginning to recognize more people. One of the two Goron that had been fighting at the temple. The group of Zora, including the one that disappeared in the night. Kieran and Amora, walking alongside the Clock Wards, looking to the world like trained soldiers themselves. Old Arenta, Ouae the chef, that other man who had been helping Ap before... They were definitely heading towards the mountains. Ap said something about another Temple, another Mask. A Quest. Thistle didn't want to be on a quest. They trudged, still holding firmly to Zymni. Still looking to Cindra and Amora for strength. Can't think about what's ahead. Can't think about what's being left behind. Right here are people who cared for them. People they cared for. Just keep... walking. So tired. Next time - if there was a next time - that they woke up in their own bed, with Zymni pounding at the door... they might just decide to sleep in another hour.

So I've kind of gathered 3 snapshots of the vote last cycle when it looked unchanged for a bit, trying to pay attention to the final big shifts because while there are probably elims early in respective trains, it's the last minute scrambling that reveals motives. Mistfallen train, early D1 Mist - Wonko (Mist has been off), Ash (more specifics on Mist's claims), Wahr (voting on the two exes), Stick (surprise attack) Dive - Araris (L1 interaction) Wonko - me (discussion) Shift to Burnt, mid d1 Burnt (4) - Archer (First on poe list) Dive (good readlist but hasn't done anything with it) Me (PoE) Ash (no reason given) Stick (2) - Mistfallen (joining train), Wonko (Mist train wasn't being opposed) Dive (2) - Araris, Hael (coasting) Mist (2) - Wahr, Stick Stick becomes an option, Hael joins Araris on Dive. Archer suggests Burnt through PoE, and Dive and me agree. Ash and Wonko hop off Mist. Big impacts here is Archer suggesting Burnt, Dive and me joining, and Wonko jumping off Mist. Shift to Dive, late d1 Dive (5) Araris, Hael, TUM (dive over stick, vibes), Coco (dive over burnt), Archer (sheep) Burnt (3) Dive, me, Wonko (push for Dive is weird) Mist (2) Wahr, Stick TJ (2) Burnt, Ash (Tj over Burnt) Stick (1) Mist So the big impacts at EoD are TUM, Coco, Ash, and Archer. TUM and Ash are confirmed village, so Coco and Archer. In particular, the way Coco joined the Dive train and Archer left Burnt for Dive. e!Mist world - The Mist train kind of collapsed on its own after it was up most of the first half of the day and people felt increasingly weird about it. There's a simple world where Mist is actually elim and banked on people chickening out as it went unopposed. Alternatively, Archer and one of me or Dive decided to push for someone else mid-day, and got some traction. e!Burnt world - In an e!Burnt world, Mist is probably v! because there's no sense in starting a second e!train. Not much to read on the pile of votes. She got up to 4 votes while Stick and Dive built up to 2 votes each. In an e!Burnt world, I would suspect Archer and Coco for building up the Dive train end of day. e!Dive world - e!Dive would clear almost everyone on that train and Burnt because it could so easily have been Burnt as well. It's funny because TUM and Ash are above suspicion even though I'd be the most suspicious of them. But now I just have Archer and Coco. Of those two, Archer behaved a lot more erratically, jumping on Dive for sheep reasons and then being sad they didn't get the chance to jump back on Burnt with Ash. Wonko was there as well, but wasn't as impactful as Burnt at that point only had 2 votes and they couldn't change much. I think we should try exeing Burnt again tomorrow and seeing how that turns out.

Explosions. Again, again, again. When the manor had exploded before them, Thistle felt - it wasn't deja-vu, they'd been in the square last...time, but that feeling of terror, loss, helplessness, it all came crashing back. Hiding from Peahats and Wolfos. Cowering when that Giant killed and killed and killed. Firstly, they had to make sure Zymni and Ap were alright. Cindra was already up, speaking to a Goron. Zymni was cowering from the sudden burst of light, but seemed alert. Ap had been knocked on her feet, but was already coming to. Good, that was good. it was odd, this feeling. Feeling like they were already doomed. Remembering how they had broken down and been useless and now it was happening again. They felt... not entirely in control of their body, even as their feet started running, taking them towards Fairy Flowers. They had to pack. They were going to evacuate. Thistle now knew exactly how valuable all these herbs and flowers were going to be. They wanted to bring even more than what they had packed the first time, but their bag was only so big... Then Cindra and Zymni were at the door - Cindra falling into step beside them and helping the packing, then they were at the North Gate, heading who knows where. Surprisingly not the Deku Forest this time. Somewhere else. Thistle didn't care enough to ask. They just kept looking back at burning Clock Town, and wondering when they were going to fall apart this time.
-
Well that was a chaotic EoD. Seems like a lot of scrambling at the end there. Will try to look at it again tonight. @Stick.I saw the news, I'm so sorry. Please stay safe. Yesterday an exe started on Mistfallen, but then dissolved mid cycle for another train to build on burnt, but towards end of day as far as I can tell there was a push for divergent with a lot of changes and then divergent was exed. I voted on burnt because I thought mist was village, but now I'm confused at the push for Dive.
-
I think Burnt put a vote on TJ that you might have missed, but that's an interesting vote count there. @|TJ|@The Unknown Medallion @Hoid Slayer Care to weigh in? Also @DrakeMarshall @coco.pudding have been active but not voted. EDIT: @Ashbringer I assume your hair now looks amazing I was interested in hearing what you had to say.
-
Ok, clearly I missed a lot >> You should have received two, yeah. @Archer can you confirm? So. I think I really like Drake's performance. Asking questions in thread and making uninformed assumptions to get corrected makes for a compelling village read. Leaving that aside for now. We're getting different CWs to Mist, which is good for options. I think as others have pointed out it does seem like a bit of an overreaction - as LGs tend to go, the first wagon usually doesn't last because people get worried halfway through the day. Love the player historically known for not voting til the last few cycles calling me out Not sure what you want me to say about it. I suppose I do like to vote later in a cycle because more information also making ties are fun, but I voted early this cycle! Yeah, looking back my votes have been off-train, and you can argue that voting for Hoid Slayer and TJ would do nothing, but for the first I was hoping for EoD shenanigans from Hoid, which kind of happened D3. Does anyone ping you as being e! motivated this cycle? ---- Vote count Mistfallen (3): Ash, Wahr, Stick, Dive (2): Araris, Hael Burnt (2): Archer, Dive Wonko (1): Doc Stick (2): Mistfallen, Wonko TJ (1): Burnt Interesting that the confirmed villagers are sticking with Mist. On the whole, something I noticed is that both Burnt and Mist have expressed a willingness to be exed and go into the dead doc. Is that something elims want this cycle? I suppose the question is if we win would the exed players or nk'd players be more under suspicion. My gut was to say I'd investigate the exed because the elims don't have control of that. But is there a world where an elim would get themselves exed d1 because that's the day we'd probably pay least attention to? I'm retracting on Wonko. Glad to see you driving discussion again. Willing to vote on Burnt. Of the two Australians, Burnt has been more active in thread, but said less - though pressure this cycle has her saying more. Though as I say that Hael's back in with a vote on Dive. They're both equally fair game in my book. Interested to see what Hael has in the morning. ---------------- Thistle relaxed into Cindra's hug, tears unexpectedly pricking at their own eyes. Yes, she knew Cindra, had confided in her, even if they hadn't really... had a conversation before today? But Cindra's own cheeks were wet... what was going on with today? "Flower crowns sound great!" Thistle chirped. "Do you have a color in mind? a specific bloom? Why don't you come around to my shop -" Thistle blinked as Zymni left their shadow to tug insistently at Cindra's leg. "Oh, my apologies," They smiled at Cindra "Zymni really doesn't like being out in the sun, Why don't we talk at my shop?" A quick glance at their shadow, "Is that alright with you, Zymni?" --- Inside Fairy Flowers, Thistle hurried to brew a pot of elderflower tea, having settled Cindra in the sitting room. "So what's got you so interested in our musician, Zymni?" "Also, are you thinking warm or cool flowers for her hair? Warm safflinas to complement or cool to set it off?"

Alright, I did a quick skim over the last few days again, clearing all the people who died. Between Wonko, Archer, Dive and Mistfallen... It's funny because at the end of last loop I was very well inclined towards Mistfallen, who with their PM to me was very thorough and demonstrated a lot of effort to solve. Just that this loop they're very firm that I'm also cleared, which I'm not upset about, but confused about the strength of the read. This and the aborted suggestion of exeing a confirmed villager is making me doubt my read a little. Still. @Mistfallen Soldier Out of curiousity, you've told us why you're clearing me - do you also have a strong reason why you told me you trust Archer? Wonko, very much agreed that Mist is being erratic. Still, this seems too easy? Aside from Araris' vote everyone has voted on Mistfallen so far. I'm interested in starting a vote on either Archer or Wonko. From my notes on last loop, Archer has been more pushy with asks and claims and PM shenanigans. Wonko, to me, has felt more passive after D1. @Wonko the Sane what were things Mist did that felt off last loop? For other players... Hael, TJ, Burnt, Araris, and Coco. I never trust Burnt. Hael's shown to be following, and I don't think the tie last turn is as indicative as Mist thinks it is. Coco is here and shown to be very engaged. For their second game, they're really doing a good job of keeping up. Araris and Dive have some ongoing discussion? I thought Araris staying on Wahr was weird D2, but knowing now that Wahr was village, I don't know if e!Araris would have been so blatant in saying 'I hear you but my vote stays on you'. And TJ is present, I really don't have anything on him at all, other than them voting on Wahr D2. Hoid Slayer is annoying me for actively choosing to be here but also clearly not reading any rules Also welcome @DrakeMarshall! CD was for me in the background just talking about how he'd like to be exed so he could be hard cleared and doing RP, so I don't have a read, but hey, care to continue asking to be exed? Currently, to shake things up, I'll place a vote on Wonko. Interested in hearing their further analysis and thoughts on Mist and what they think the current strategy should be.

"A musician, of course, that sounds fun! Cindra should be..." Thistle trailed off. Cindra? Yes, they know a Cindra... a pretty, flame-haired flautist, but only in passing... Where did that sudden surge of familiarity come from? Whatever the reason... Cindra should... be by the Post Office. They knew that, somehow, with the same strength of the thought that they should never let Zymni out of their sight again... They shook their head, clearing it. "Uh, yes! Musicians, you must mean Cindra! She's amazing on the flute, or so I hear!" ... "Zymni? Could you... hold on to my hand and not let go? Just in case?" ... Colors, streamers, scents everywhere. Thistle and their shadow first went to the Post Office to drop off some letters before realizing it was annoyingly shut. Frowning, Thistle attempted to bid the five rupees for the Postman's hat, only to be told that... they'd had their chance? Odd. They passed the laundry pools to pick up some clothing. "Hullo Kieran! Happy Hero's Carnival!" For Kieren, an... ironshroom? That felt right... they could use some protection... They passed crochety old Arenta yelling at some trespassers. "Good afternoon Arenta, happy Hero's Carnival!" Thistle privately considered presenting the woman with their namesake plant, but decided to be generous and gift her a Hyrule Herb instead. "For your aches," they smile. And then, Cindra, wandering by the West Ward. "Hello there!" Thistle beamed, "Happy Hero's Carnival! My friend Zymni really wanted to meet you!" @Burnt Spaghetti Who did you target last loop with your mask? I didn't see this when I was writing my RP, I guess we might have missed each other
-
Considering no one else sent any PMs last loop, 3 PMs is a bunch Hey, again, weird move to tie your alignment to mine, considering that there's no flips and no hard clears rest of game. I'm not worried about you arguing that you're village, everyone's going to argue that they're village, it's that you're getting me to trust you by saying "I know Doc's village". PMs as requested In light of Archer's PM shenanigans, if anyone wants to confirm they're postmaster, they can just tell you who else you sent messages to to verify they are the postmaster. @Wonko the Sane Stick shared Archer's PMs - I assume you got the same 2 she got? One where he pretended to be postmaster and another random one? @Hoid Slayer Would you mind sharing what you got?
-
So, this is weird, because I like Mistfallen currently, and the fact that he's so strongly defending me as village is nice? But also this is something they did a couple games ago when they were actually elim and successfully pocketed me when I was under heavy suspicion of being elim, only to swerve and hammer end of cycle. It's weird to be arguing against myself here, but I don't necessarily correlate how me choosing to PM other people D1 translates to basically a strong clear from you? If people think its useful information, I'm happy to share a complete list of who PM'd who last loop. It's not very interesting - it was only me, Burnt, Archer, and Mist shooting out a bunch of PMs. Ok yeah this is just a weird take. When we need to exe 2 elims this loop to win, using 1 out of 3 on a villager just means we have to hit 2 elims. Also stop threatening to drop fish on me! (unless its a salmon) Yes, it was clarified that ties are broken by who has the least rupees, not weighted, just whoever has less. As to whether Hoid Slayer knew that, I'm not sure, but there wasn't any chance there. Hael wasn't in any danger once TUM had the same number of votes. Still an element of chance because I didn't know who had more rupees, but people keeping track (as you said you were) could have made a good guess. I claimed my mask last loop do I get anything --- @Wonko the Sane Thistle groaned at the pounding on their door. Their bed was so soft and comfortable... "Zymni, it's a holiday. Shop doesn't open til 11!" The pounding continued, through the pillow over their head. Something about the pounding... almost like... explosions? Something about it made Thistle shoot out of bed, suddenly alert. But... they were in their bedroom, sunlight streaming through the violets on the windowsill... Why was their heart pounding...? Or was that the door? Rolling their eyes, Thistle got on their feet, padded over to the door and yanked it open, causing Zymni to almost fall in. Zymni... something about seeing their little friend here, alive... Thistle scooped her up in a big, tight hug. she's safe! she's here! But Zymni had...always been here.. she lives and works here... stuck to Thistle like a shadow... Slightly embarrassed, they put Zymni down, turning away to pull their long green hair into a braid. "Well, since... you're so eager, you can help me get the shop ready for opening. I... I need breakfast." - An hour and a hearty breakfast later, Thistle decided that perhaps today was going to be a good day. A flash of fire and screaming. Thistle shivered. No. A good day. They worked around their shop, watering flowers and trimming leaves. The Hero’s Carnival was beginning today, and everyone would want flowers for the celebration. Safflinas of all colors! Bright sundelions! Refreshing ice roses! Purple swift violets and gold fleet-lotus! All arrayed by the storefront to catch the eye of revelers, and for those curious enough to venture into the darkened interior, two or three of the most beautiful flowers of Termina - the softly glowing Silent Princesses. Something made Thistle go into the cellar, where the bomb flowers and mushrooms grew. Shaking their head, they returned upstairs. All the while, Zymni fluttered around the shop with barely contained energy, holding stems, checking leaves, eyes pleading. Thistle rolled their eyes again, laughing softly. Always the more excitable of the two, today Zymni was less their employee and more a child at their first Hero's Carnival. "Alright...looks like everything's ready." they give the store another quick once over, wondering it felt like they were looking upon it for the last time. "What say you we head out and get us some Zora street food to start?"

Cindra found Thistle sobbing quietly. "I'm not meant for this," they cried. "I'm meant for quiet days when the biggest thing that could go wrong is that Zymni used too much fertilizer on the violets." "I want to go home, I want to make those flower crowns we talked about, I want Clock Town and I want the carnival to go right without any explosions." They laughed, softly. "You must think me terribly silly and weak... but... I suppose it's the grace of the goddess that I've been as helpful as I can be with my little stings... but I'm not cut out for this... I..." "flowers... I remember...fields of flowers, soft beneath my heels." They shook themselves. "I'm... I'm sorry. I'm unharmed, I just..." "Do you think there's a home to go back to, after this?" ---- Got a little dark there XD but I think after those 3 days a florist would have a breakdown in the middle of a boss fight. also @Wonko the Sane now would be a great time for Zymni to show up

The explosions rattled the entire temple, throwing Thistle off their feet. Dust and debris cascaded from the ceiling, and through it all Thistle could hear the giant screaming. Crying, they stuffed their ears and flattened themselves against a wall. This was too loud, this was too much, they just wanted to be back home, in their shop, where they could be having a a steaming cup of tea and reading a fluffy novel while sunlight streamed through the windows, while gorgeous sundelions bloomed on the windowsill and children laughed outside their window. Where was Zymni? She'd sit with them and tell them stories about the Twili, while Thistle told her everything they knew about Termina. They wanted to go home so badly, how did it come to this? In just two days they'd seen so much blood and fire and death, so many moments where they had to react quickly or get hurt. Zymni was gone, their shop was gone, their hands had bound up cuts instead of bouquets, they'd passed out bomb flowers instead of silent princesses. Goddess, could they go home after this? Would home even be the same? If only they could go back in time to that perfect, shining moment...
