Actually, as far as lynch patterns go, I'd tend to think that they'd go rather differently in this game. Especially as far as votes on innactives go, since it seems like they need to do something to deactivate the Duel. I don't really think poke votes will work as well in this game either. I'm going to read over the rules again, but it also seems like Arcos are going to be a bit of a problem from the lynch perspective. As far as the Merit tally goes, that wouldn't really work, because of the Bellona, unless you actually did get everyone to roleclaim, which seems really unlikely. I'll be trying to get some RP in today as well, but I'm trying to finish the first book first. I'll probably have it up in the next couple of hours, give or take.

This is very probable. I actually agree with you, and think that it's likely that the two are connected.

I really like this idea; The only flaw I can see, is the fact that there would have to be a drastic -really and absurd- change in size. Parshmen are humanoid; The thing in the picture towered over buildings. This. On most levels, this is what I'm trying to say. Warform probably causes Parshmen to grow a bit, but not that drastically. I suppode it's possible for a huge change in size to happen, but the mass would have to come from somewhere, and it would take a long time. Maybe like the Razaac. Yup. It makes sense to me that spren can bond most things, however, a greatshell's GemHeart provides investiture, which spren like, and spren provide the heavy lifting. This makes sense. It makes a little more sense for Chasmfeinds, because they provide investiture (to some extent), but I don't see a reason that Odium couldn't control other things with spren. Skyeels? Meh. I don't know. But now I want to see Evil!Whitespines. Like they aren't already creepy enough. HoA Spoilers.

That sounds right. It probably has something to do with the fact that carapaced creatures cannot grow above a certain size without dying, simply because they end up weighing too much. The weight/muscle ratio is impossible to upkeep. I assumed that it was Gravityspren, and they enabled the greatshells to keep up their massive weight in some way. Thanks for backing me up, btw. Have an upvote.

I'm hoping to do some RP, but I feel like I should try to finish one of the books first, for some context. Hopefully that will happen before the game starts.

I think he was probably talking to Argent. Thus the Arg. I would have to agree with Ananas that it seems unlikely that anything could transform a Parshendi to that extent. Most Cognitively inspire changes in physiology do not effect size to a great extent, at least not the extent needed to turn a man-sized being into something even bigger than an elephant. I think it is more likely that a chasmfiend is turned into something else by bonding a spren, as already has been suggested. Chasmfiends have a relationship with spren already, to an extent, (I think it's gravityspren, or something. Theres a quote in the chasm scene, but I can't find it RN.) so it would not be surprising that they could have a 'bond' with spren, to some extent. I would find it even more likely that Odium could somehow effect Chasmfiends minds in some way.

I had intended to edit new things into the reserved space as they came along, to keep it all in one spot. I felt like doing that would be better for memorializing SE stuff then spreading it out over the thread. Since the problem apears to be that everything is spread out too much as it is. Also, I'm very happy that there's a place for all this now. There were already threads where people talked about SE and games and things, but it's good to have a thread that's for that.

I'm probably misunderstanding the question. But here goes. Elliptical, Spiral, and... Dwarf? The Cosmere is in a Dwarf Galaxy, right? That sounds all classify-y. . WLIU, name 7 races from GW2. (They don't have to be the playable races.) edit; After looking it up, I still can't decide whether I got that right or not. Dwarf galaxies are a thing, but they are not part of the Hubble classifications. So, they are a 'class' of galaxy, but are not one of the main 'classifications'. Lovely.

-looks up- Wow. That's somewhat disturbing. The storm looks mildly worisome just by normal storm patterns. It's somewhat dulled for me, since I don't live there, but I have friends in florida who are worried about it. I hope everything turns out all right. -
I didn't even catch Zahel at all. I mean, I guessed he was a world hopper, but I didn't get that he was Vasher until the Shard. Nightblood was so obvious though, so awesome, best bombshell ever, Szeth has Nightblood now, it's so cool, I can't wait for SA 3- Yeah, that was one of my favorite scenes. I fangirl over it every time. I did catch the Tarachin thing (that's what made me think Zahel was a Worldhopper at all), but, now that I know he's Vasher, all the other clues seem so obvious. Hindsight 20/20.

I don't know. I just don't know. It's not my close friends that are doing it, either; My close friends are either just like me, and think it's a hoax, or they are mildly worried. It's there friends who are either freaking out, scared, or freaking out, let's go clown hunting. There are other factors playing into it, but they don't really make sense out of context. I know another person who's just trying to prove that it's real(by showing obviously fake videos), which is scaring the people who are already scared by this. And a couple kids are convinced that the clowns are coming to their school. Because, the kid who is trying to prove they are real, tweeted that they should come to their school. There is something wrong with the way these people think. The weird part is that the school got an email saying that the clowns were coming. Most people think it was just the kid being dumb, but they can't prove it, and because of stupid laws and legal reasons, the school has to act on supposed threats. So they're having a lockdown on friday. Which is making the scared people freak out even more. -sigh- /end rant Yeah. Well, as a plus, it's extremely amusing to watch from an outside perspective.
-
Yup. They go out at night and just drive around looking for clowns. I know people who are actually doing this. One kid drove from Mass to Maine and back, and was out till like one in the morning. He found no clowns, much less killer ones. He's not discouraged; He instead got more people to do it with him. There's obviously something wrong here.
-
TBH, all the clown talk that is happening in my area is driving me up the wall. I'm farily certain that this mostly just hoaxes. And half the people I know are certain it's all real. And like half of them are crazy enough to go clown hunting, which makes no sense. This should probably have gone in the pet peeves thread, but it came up here.

I find it incredibly amusing that the spec Doc is called the Peanut Gallery.

I do think that you could stay underwater longer with F!Steel, however, you can do anything longer with F!Steel, because you are literally living slower. Same with tapping. I think that you would be using Pewter just as much as normal, and would run out just as fast as normal, comparatively. I wrote a paper on it. Feruchemical Steel; Steelrunning, a Comprehensive Conglomeration. That's the link to it. It explains my opinions on F!Steel, and has links in it for other articles on F!Steel.

Do the Ghostbloods count? I thought they were just a faction... other than that, I've always been village. And I really enjoy being Elim, too.

I'm glad this happened before the game started. I'm going to go reread the rules now, having had my reminder that I constantly get in trouble for not reading them thoroughly.

This is why I was asking. I kind of would like clarification, because there's a big difference (IMO) between RP and just being active in discussion. I do one normally, and the other I've never done before. I've written a couple decent short stories, and a novel, so I'm not too scared of writing; It's more a time thing, and I kind of would like clarification.

I just reread the OP. Dang, I'm actually going to have to write some RP for this one, aren't I? Well, be forewarned; I've never RP'd this way before. I fully expect to fail fantastically. And, I too have a question; By RP, do you just mean any writing that is game related, or some actualy Role Playing? Also, are there any other ways to gain Merit, or is this your way of making sure that people will have to use the thread?

My computer is pretty well protected. I'm fairly certain that's why, even though I once reloaded the page your Sig directs to 50 times in a row (Just to check, you see.) it still does not have my name, or most other things. It does get the page, which is somewhat freaky. And recently, it's gotten close enough to where I live to make me jump when I first saw it. But, I'm pretty sure that most websites are capable of doing that anyway, such as Facebook, and most online shopping sites, so I don't really see anything wrong with this. It's just creepy. Also, as a person who likes to dabble in CS and programming, it's kind of awesome to look at. Especially now that I can see the source code.
