  1. How do you have a contact?Edit: If I understand correctly, you've discussed how you think Elodin is suspicious, and then voted for me. Which posts of mine make you suspicious of me?
  2. No, it doesn't. It simply strikes me as odd how often you're changing your mind, and the patterns said changes follow.
  3. Yes, because of the individual circumstances behind them. That being, I was suspicious of Straw for voting the same as you immediately after you with literally no reasoning provided. Seonid pointed out bandwagoning and you immediately switched your vote. Of course, in further reflection, this seems like a tad overreaction on my part however it does feed into something more interesting which is how often you've switched your vote. First for Sart, and then Lopen, and then myself. Three vote switches aren't inherently suspicious, however what's interesting about them is that each time the vote has occured soon after another vote for said player Voting for Sart is a possible exception to this, however Seonid did vote for Sart two posts afore, with you voting to solidify the vote (which really didn't need to happen with so much time remaining in the cycle). You voted for Lopen immediately after myself and for me quickly changed your vote for me after Lopen voted for me - despite agreeing with some of my suspicions. Your reasoning seems fairly minor, but I'm not one to really judge on what is and isn't lots of evidence. Having written that, the points don't seem the strongest. The vote for Sart did seem a little iffy, but not overly such, though you didn't put a lot of reasoning into the vote, besides citing solidification and the information, the former of which I've already stated I judge to be iffy and the latter of which was reasonable, I suppose, but again not the strongest. The vote for Lopen was, skipping Orlok's post, a post after my own, and was mostly you agreeing with everything I said (aside from the disagreement over Straw, which was minor, and little else). The vote for me is perhaps the least indicative, though I've explained my reasoning behind being suspicious of you. This post has turned into a ramble, it seems. If you need any clarifications, just ask. This was half-defending half-accusing so if you get lost... yeah, don't be surprised.
  4. I'll admit there were problems with my suspicion of Lopen, which he has helpfully pointed out and I am going to go back through and check (though probably after turnover because it is late and I must retire to bed soon). In addition, they weren't inconsistent. They were misinformed, yes, but each fed into the other. However you said you agreed with everything else I'd said in my post. What do you disagree with me on now?
  5. This song sends shivers up my spine
  6. I had a dream about finding accomodation in a generic seaside town which I labelled Victoria, BC. I have never visited Canada. All the houses were tiny and no one could have possibly lived in them. As in, most were shorter than I was and were about as long as I was tall. We went to an outdoors shop (like Cotswolds). I found a friend from school there. He happened to work there. He showed us this thing where you sleep on these magic disc things (and by magic I mean actually magic). It wasn't big enough for the three of us so we used a bit of cardboard to make it bigger. We slept in the middle of a supermarket. I woke up. I... I'm not quite sure why any of that happened.
  7. You voted without posting your reasoning, and then removed it as soon as Seonid says you're bandwagoning. That seems oddly suspicious to me. And StrawMan, just outright bandwagonining. And you still haven't defended yourself.
  8. Right, I've fixed that. It said you needed to have cabin invitations off in something I read - obviously I read the wrong thing.
  9. If you hadn't noticed, Elodin... Thing is, I don't trust anyone. Maybe some slight village reads on Hael and Elodin, but they're almost entirely gut, and so I don't view them as particularly valuable, and certainly not enough to say I outright trust them. EDIT: Elodin, you're focusing all your questions to people about Wilson and not really providing much reasoning for why you're suspicious. That sounds tunnel-like to me.
  10. He's not acting abnormally, but placing suspicion is always useful. Hopefully he'll defend himself at somepoint.
  11. I'm kingculta over at Camp NaNo, could I get an invite to the cabin?
  12. Hello all. Aye Lopen, I did log in earlier - I saw how long the thread was and then went back to stressing over exams. Anyway, I've read through the thread, and the discussion over the Mayor... intruiges me. I'm of the opinion that it is quite an important role, and really do not want the eliminators to have that spot. The chances for manipulating the lynch are too many for me to be comfortable with it (this is from the perspective of someone just coming out of a game where clever vote manipulation won my team the game). Thus, I've been quite suspicious of Sart. Their ideas for choosing a mayor seem very convenient. To sum up my thoughts: We can't confirm that they are actually using RNG, meaning they can actually just choose whoever they want and claim the RNG chose for them, thus deflecting suspicion if an eliminator gets the power. This also allows them oppurtunities for putting eliminators in power with the Mayor role. They're also downplayed the importance of the role, which further serves to increase my suspicion. Orlok and El have also raised similar points. Not using RNG, that is, but putting the Mayor role in the hands of someone other than one we already signifigantly trust. El is guilty of this to a greater extent, and I'm not comfortable with her idea of giving the role to a suspected Eliminator (though she does bring up the issues with that in her post. I'm also suspicious of Lopen for two reasons. He, like Sart, downplays the important of the Mayor, yet votes for himself? This could very easily get him the role (by making people less wary of voting for him as Mayor). He also uses the defence of "If I was X I wouldn't do A, and I've done A, so I can't be X". Which is an awful defence, seems incredibly suspicious, and I last saw used by Aman in LG21, who was an eliminator. I'm wondering on the possibility of not having a Mayor at all, at least this early in the game. It gives a lot of sway to people we can't be overly sure of, and I'm much prefer to give the power later on to someone who I trust (the list of which currently containing no one). Of course, we also run the risk then of giving the eliminator the same power, supposing we were wrong about trusting them. Still unsure on this, and I need to think more about it to properly clarify my thoughts on the matter. StrawMan is of course, immediately suspicious by how he posts supporting El for Mayor with no supporting evidence. Which leads onto El's seemingly rather flustered attempt at avoiding being made Mayor. Given how she's spoken about the Mayor role putting spotlight on the player who gets it, I can see why she'd want to avoid it - if she was an eliminator. Of course, she makes reasonable points about her not being good with vote manip roles, but as she stated herself, those are different kinds of roles. Now, the voting at the moment is, if I remember correctly (and I probably haven't), predominantly leaning towards Sart. As much as I'm suspicious of Sart, I'm also suspicious to around the same levels of Lopen. For the reason, I'm going to vote for Lopen, and hope that some good discussion comes of it.
  13. I might just go through and make an Elsecaller deck. And failing four colours working effectively, a Gravitation deck.
  14. I can help out, if you want. This game looks like it'll be very entertaining to watch.
  15. Time to pull yet another name out of my "Big Box of Welsh names" (a.k.a behindthename.com ) I'll sign up as Llewella Rhysdaughter, a travelling scholar of Andoran descent, come to Drell's Crossing to study a particularly interesting lead regarding the town's role during early White Tower history. Anyone up for doing some RP this game?
