Fairly literal translation, something ruled by Mraize. So basically it's the dictatorship/monarchy option, but with Mraize already elected as leader by default. Edit: Sorry, confused with Mraizeocracy. I do think that is the thing meant by the term though.

There's also the fact that the DA and GBs have both already defended the Alleycity, showing that they actually care about the place and it's inhabitants. They could easily agree to take a more active hand in it, to improve their defenses. And since this wouldn't involve active combat, groups like TUBA would also join because it would allow them to be more effective in keeping the DA in check. Basically, the DA protects the place from threats and criminals, and TUBA protects the place from the DA (anyone reminded of Dresden Files now?).

I'd personally say the the points system would work, but only as a general guideline to get a basic understanding of whether a powerset is okay or not. After checking the amount of points, we should still go over the characters ourselves in order to see if it's alright. At the same time, we should also be open to powersets that cost too much points, but aren't actually overpowered, and might actually be interesting to see. Also, at least for compounding, but possibly also radiant orders we'll need a specific points amount for the specific combo, since we shouldn't have people be able to buy gold or steel compounding, while other types might actually be interesting. Also, how would we address Hemalurgy. For power spikes I think it'll be easy, just use the amount of points for that power, but what will we do for mutation type things?

We'll probably also have a bunch of meekers walking around.

Well, as long as nobody starts throwing pineapples we'll probably be alright. I also think Voidus normally uses other characters to interact with the RP, not Voidus Prime. I do understand where you're coming from though, having god entities loose in the RP always gives the chance that they'll interfere, no matter how well behaved they normally are.

I have thought up a number of proposals in order to try and put a limit to the power of characters. Note that these will mostly be soft limits, not hard limits. This is because its difficult to create a solid set of rules for this, and any set of hard caps will either create situations where people find a way around them, or where a great concept or plan isn't possible because of the rules. (proposals are named weirdly to be easily recognizable. It's mainly the fact that killing someone else's character without permission is considered extremely bad form, so people normally wouldn't do that (or would get a firm talking to from the rest of us). This means that these types of assassinations would normally only be done with permission, and thus would have at least some cooperation between the people involved.

I guess someone else will temporarily take over as leader, perhaps someone already designated as second in command. This could actually be interesting, since it might create a bit of inner politics in a guild.

I'm personally not too sure about using a points system. While it does work as something of a guideline it is still too easy to develop characters that are way too strong, even if your points total is good. To fix this we'd need a lot of special rules and exceptions for specific combinations, and even then someone could probably manage to create a game breaker combination. There's also the fact that we'd probably need to update the list whenever a new book comes out, especially since we don't have a lot of concrete information on the possibilities of a lot of magic systems.

Examples about why their characters are too strong would be helpful. Also keep in mind that the power levels will be adjusted after the end of the current era, so this won't be an issue. Instead, try focus on what you feel would be the limit for the power level of a character, and ways for regulating this.
