  1. The actual oath can differ between orders IIRC, but I think the third one is standard, given that it was the oath for Skybreakers, Windrunners, and Edgedancers. In case of Jasnah, I think a lot of people assume she is at least at oath 4, and Shallan is a weird case, since she got pretty far along the progression line as a kid, but later regressed back again.
  2. I think that depends on what type of vampires, and what they're from.
  3. I think that this would be allowed, as long as it's believable. So a radiant of oath 1 or 2 ending at 3 or 4 at the end of the era would be alright, but a first oath radiant getting to 5 within a month wouldn't be.
  4. On the intelligence topic, what can be considered average intelligence?
  5. I think I've had lemons before, though I didn't eat them, just drank the juice. On that note, see if any stores near where you live have sambal, and try eating that. Edit: Given that you probably won't have sambal in the states, it's an Indonesian sauce made from crushed peppers. We happen to have where I live as well, given that we have a lot of people from Indonesia living here. It's generally used to make dishes more spicy. I normally get mine from stores specializing in Asian ingredients, given that the ones they sell are much more spicy than the ones you find in grocery stores.
  6. I generally go at around 23:00, but falling asleep takes a while for me, so I usually fall asleep around 0:30.
  7. Doesn't bleeding out make you feel even more sleepy? Well, I guess it would help you with staying awake until that point though. I guess it also depends on how long the spikes are.
  8. In my case, it's just going to bed earlier. Given that it's currently 19:45 here, being sleepy is a bit bad. I think it's mostly trying to readjust from Christmas.
  9. I'm guessing I'm 2nd gen as well in that case, given that I first signed up for the DA before the GB even existed, although I wasn't really that active within the guild part of the fora back then.
  10. A couple of thoughts from me, including a couple of new things people haven't really talked about, but that seem interesting to me: Duralumin: This steals Connection and Identity. While probably not as useful as feruchemical duralumin and aluminum, this still seems like a metal that has a lot of possibilities,. Aluminum: Removes all powers. My take on this is that this works by first killing someone with this spike, and any person you stick it in afterwards will lose all their powers. The other possibility is that you don't have to charge it, and that sticking an aluminum spike in someone is enough to remove all their powers, without having to kill them. This could have some interesting consequences for dealing with criminal magic users, where you remove their abilities to use magic if they break the law (assuming this is permanent of course, though this could still create easy inhibitor bracelets otherwise). Nicrosil: Something I haven't heard people talk about is whether this refers to kinetic or innate investure. It seems most people are (logically) assuming innate investure, since it's a spiritual property from someone you can steal. Still, it might be nice to get some kind of clarification on this. Chromium: Might steal destiny. I agree with the others that this probably refers to Fortune, but it does have some interesting implications on the nature of Fortune. The standard way it seems to be interpreted is that it works as in manipulating luck, manipulating chances. This however (together with being grouped among the spiritual metals in feruchemy), indicates that it is an actual property related to the Spiritual realm. Taking into account Odium's conversation with king Taravangian, where he was surprised the Diagram was writing without future sight or access to Fortune, I think that this indicates that Fortune is a property of the Spiritual realm, possibly involving something of a sixth/innate unconscious sense of the future, or Connection, but (since time doesn't exist in the spritual realm) to future events/people/places instead of past ones.
  11. KanMien came in through the door, quickly running towards Althea and Max. "Sorry I'm late," they said, speaking quickly. "I didn't know that this was going to be a wedding, so I didn't have any gifts, so I needed to get one, so I went through the alleys and I managed to find something, but then I need to get back, and I'm not too late right?" They took a deep breath, and calmed down a bit. "Ah, sorry." They blushed a bit, and held out two wooden bands with spiraling patterns carved into them, the patterns flowing from one band onto the next. "I, well, I guess KoTiel, found these while traveling. Both of them have their own unique pattern, and when held against each other their patterns will complete each other. It is said that it is impossible for another band to be able to complete the pattern, so you'll always be able to recognize its twin." They smiled. "I believe that these bands were common gifts between couples back there, acting as a talisman to keep them linked together. There are even stories about couples who recognized each other after years of separation by finding out that their bands matched each other." They handed over the bands.
  12. KoTiel tilted their head, and ran after Dwig. "You know that the two of us are fighting each other as well, right?" They yelled at him. "Or did you find a good argument for why I should help you?" @Dr. Dapper
  13. Yeah, sorry, but my phone(and probably my pc) aren't capable of displaying that.
  14. Duralumin deals with Connection, which is one of those fundamental cosmere things, so it's possible it's a lot more powerful than we know as of right now. That's my guess, at least.
  15. I don't think he became a metalborn though?
  16. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to hack the mists in some way, given that it's basically gaseous investure?
  17. I think you can make characters from both points in time. The point about corruption makes sense though, although I'm not sure how someone who is basically an infinite blood bank can destroy a hospital (except perhaps by flooding the place with blood).
