Shade thought for a bit. Being a teacher sounded nice, she felt, but she wondered what she could teach, thinking back to her own education. She shouldn't teach anything she had learned, she thought. "A simple job would probably be the best," she said, feeling embarrassed. "I don't really have much of an education. I can do basic math and reading, but I've never really learned anything else." Or at least nothing else that I should actually use, she thought.

"I see," Shade said, feeling relieved. She could probably take care of a simple job. "What kind of jobs are there?" She asked.

Kumiko thought a bit about the question, wondering how she could best explain it. It's part of one of my abilities, she sent back. I can touch animals and non-human beings and add aspects of them to myself. Before coming there I had touched KanMien, a Kandra, so I got the ability to shapeshift into people. The ability has a number of issues though. I can't retain the abilities of sapient or magical beings permanently, and using multiple abilities at the same time is difficult. She paused for a bit, thinking. We might want to involve KanMien as well. She's supposed to be good at impersonating people, though she says she needs to eat someone before she can shift into them.

Kumiko tilted her head for a few seconds, until she figured out what Lita meant. Blushing, she turned away from the group, looking at the meeting. Patting her pockets she took out a small pen. Um, sorry, she sent. Didn't realize that.

"Alright," Shade said, a soft smile appearing on her face. "Is there anything you can tell me about this place, or other things that I should know about?"

Shade looked at the ground. "I just ... Needed a calm place to stay." She said.

"Ah, eh, no," Shade muttered. "Erm, thanks. Was there anything you wanted to talk about?" She asked, trying to be polite.

Shade cringed as the soldier clapped her the shoulder. "Thanks," she said.

Shade heard someone speak behind her and reflexively activated her powers. Calming down, she released them again, and turned around. "I am," she said, sounding scared.

Shade nodded. "Where can I find him?" She asked.

KanMien sighed. They could see this wasn't going to work out, and the longer Voidus and Sudiov kept talking the worse it would get. Slowly they stood up. They took a deep breath to calm themselves and started talking. "I'm sorry for the interruption," they said, "but I have a proposition." They waited a few seconds until they were sure people were listening. "As everyone can likely see an alliance won't work. We simply don't trust each other enough to work together, for good reason, given the hostilities there are between our groups. Still, both of our groups agree that the current situation is extremely dangerous and should be resolved as soon as possible, preferably in a way that doesn't destroy the city. So, I propose a temporary ceasefire between TUBA and the DA. For the duration of the crisis we won't attack each other, instead focusing on resolving the current crisis. If individual members want to work together they can, but if they feel they aren't able to do so they aren't forced to work together either. At the same time, the DA will not send in the Abominations unless we feel there is no other option, and if we do we will inform TUBA first so they can evacuate as many citizens as possible, if there are still any left at that point." They fell silent, trying to judge the reactions from both groups, and silently prayed nobody would disintegrate them in the next ten seconds. -
Kumiko yawned, getting bored. She looked to KanMien, and noticing that they weren't paying attention to her, stood up. Looking around she saw the woman from at the party talking to a few others. Smiling she walked up to them. "Hey," she said, "What are you talking about?"

Lisa stood up and grabbed Arun's other arm. "I'll be sleeping upstairs," she said. "I don't really like staying down there, it's too dark and cramped."

KanMien winced at the Stranger's ... passionate speech, and shook their head. They could understand where he was coming from, but it wasn't the right way to approach the situation. They agreed an alliance probably wouldn't work, but antagonizing them, especially at this point, wasn't going to be helpful either. Still, they didn't speak up, scared of what the Stranger would do to them if they made him angry at them. -
Shade smiled. "Thanks," she said. "Is there anything I should know about?"

Shade walked onto the complex, looking at the people walking around. Only a few looked at her though, and even they didn't focus on her. There was no reason they would, of course. Even using her powers slightly made others ignore her, and Shade was fine with that. She looked around, feeling the calmness of the place. She wondered if this was the place she had been looking for, the place she could finally stop running, and rest. She walked up to one of the men in priest robes. Taking a deep breath she dropped her ability. Immediately she got scared, feeling exposed without her powers hiding her, and she nearly ran away, but she managed to stop herself. "I'm sorry," she said softly, "I've heard you offer a safe place for people to stay. Is it possible for me to join?"

Lisa took the bandages from the pan, and carefully wrapped them around Arun's leg, making sure they weren't tight enough to restrict blood flow. Lisa stood up, and nodded to Arun. "That's it," she said, and let out a sigh of relief. "Tomorrow we'll need to check the bandage, and refresh if it is too dirty." She got a wry smile on her face. "I'd also tell you not to put too much stress on the wound, but..." Yawning, Lisa stood up, grabbing one of the thick curtains, and wrapped it around herself to keep warm, making sure she could easily get out of it if necessary. She thought about going to sleep, but the idea of the Eye still stuck in her mind. Supressing a shiver she sat up, grabbing the stick she had started carving earlier that day, and continued sharpening the tip.

Alright, I'll be raising her Weapons skill to Skilled, and use the remaining 25 points for the Parkour skill (do I need points for that? Also what skill level can I get with that point count?) Edit: I'm assuming Parkour would also imply a general level of athletic ability.
