Shade looked around the room, still waiting for Erlend to return, and started to feel nervous. She wondered what he was doing, if he had figured out what she was, and was calling for someone to get rid of her. Unconsciously she touched her knife, then withdrew her hand when she noticed. Regarding the timeskip, I'd prefer if we didn't do it, at least for this Era. I still have some characters around that would lose almost all opportunity for character development, which is kind of annoying to me. I wouldn't mind a shorter one, but I don't really like a longer one. I personally think that longer timeskips should be agreed upon at the start of the Era, not at the end, since this would give us time to prepare for them.

Kumiko tilted her head. "Is there any reason I should be?" She asked, sounding confused. "I'm just supposed to keep an eye on the building, as well as this thing." She gestured to the Vortex. She shrugged. "Well, I'm going downstairs, I'm going to greet the others. Try to make sure your people don't try to kill them when they arrive, killing all of them would be annoying." She looked up. "Please call me if anything happens." With that, she turned around, getting ready to head downstairs.

Kumiko looked at them, and shrugged. "Don't know," she said. "I'm somewhat new, I don't really do all that science stuff. Though if someone goes there as an experimental subject, you kind of have to expect being experimented upon." She paused. "KoTiel?" She muttered. "KoTiel, KoTiel, that name sounds familiar..." Her face suddenly lit up. "Ah, right, the dead guy!" @Ark's Boyfriend @Sorana

Kumiko blinked as the man's skin changed while he stepped back. Curious, she tilted her head, studying him. "Huh," she said, then composed herself. She could have a better look later. "Voidus, Mac and the Stranger are coming to study the Vortex," she said. "A couple of other members are coming as well. I thought it might be good to tell you people, so you don't cause a scene when they show up."

Kumiko saw the man's hand go to his knife and stepped back, switching to Cat form in case he decided to attack. "Takamine Kumiko," she said. "I'm from the DA. I'm ... keeping an eye on the place." She tried to not look too hostile. It would be ... annoying if he managed to get her in trouble with KanMien.

Kumiko felt her phone go off, and looked at the screen. So they're finally coming, huh, she thought. A smile crept onto her face. She wondered what KanMien would think when she saw how well she had done. She tilted her head. It seemed as if the higher-ups were coming as well. She looked around. Guess I should tell them, she thought. She switched back to Fox form, and walked over to some of the people working near the Vortex, making sure too keep her distance from the thing. She didn't want it to get her amulet. "Hey," she called out to them.

KanMien nodded, following Voidus. Walking behind him, they got out their phone, and sent a quick text to Kumiko. On our way to building, it read. Voidus, Mac and the Stranger coming as well. They found themselves wondering what Kumiko was doing, and hoped that she hadn't landed herself in too much trouble.
