  1. Some Dysian also left a cremling in the warcamps near where Taln used to be.
  2. Yes; Sazed has a very distinctive voice, I think.
  3. Will we still have ranks though?
  4. I thought of something like this too when I was reading the book but Odium only promised to save people born in Kharabanth during the current generation and their descendents. So probably no loophole.
  5. oh god i hope this isn't a thing While the ending of mistborn was very well done, I want the characters of Stormlight to win or lose this war on their own, without divine intervention or some preordained plan by Honor.
  6. F-Steel beats a lot of things. I don't think luck would be a factor if they can't react fast enough to even notice the steelrunner.
  7. Seems like someone (probably Yesteel) found a way to make less volatile awakened swords. Nightblood is probably unique.
  8. The end of Oathbringer reminded me a lot of the climax of Infinity Blade: Redemption when I read it, and now that I think about it the similarities go even deeper than I originally thought. Raidriar and Taravangian are both kings with a "false god": for Raidriar it's himself and for Taravangian it's the Diagram Raidriar and Taravangian meet the main villain, who predates them by millenia and proves their "false god" to be flawed and inadequate Raidriar and Taravangian are both set up as wise, knowledgeable people but are basically treated like babies by the Worker/Odium, who predict and understand them with ease Raidriar and Taravangian both ponder the nature of rulership and authority throughout their arcs Raidriar and Taravangian are both presented with the choice of whether to follow the Big Bad, and both choose to live up to their idea of a king, although with drastically different results. What do you guys think? Are the similarities legitimate, and if so, were they intentional?
  9. Yay vivenna! Huh Eshonai's dead. I wonder if she's a next generation fused or something since her book is still coming right? Odium was a better written and deeper villain than Ruin. Elhokar dying was a real curveball. FeelsBadMan but as soon as he started acting like a competent leader I knew something was up. Brandon probably wanted him to end on a high note. Barely any scenes of Vasher at all but this book still seems like it breaks Brandon's "stand-alone policy" with vivenna's probably-awakened sword and numerous references to Warbreaker.
  10. Wait, Kell and vin are restricted to steel only but Wax gets to use feruchemy?
  11. secret history #2 Khriss/Nazh short story But imo its probably since the very existence of the book is kind of a spoiler.
  12. i pronounce it like the pokemon
  13. Emperor's soul is my favorite cosmere work overall. Elantris is probably around warbreaker level for me, above WoA but below the other major novels.
  14. IMO kal is probably 2 since shallan is with the other main characters and her storyline can be advanced without POVs
  15. @Sony because if he does flip elim we probably lynch jondesu next. Lynching manukos could theoretically swing the game hugely in our favor if he does turn out to be elim. A manukos lynch gives us much more information than any other one, since he's been the topic of more discussion than most players. How does lynching me give any information at all?
  16. Manukos's elim claim seemed kind of odd, and I still have ptsd from a Town of Salem game where the SK claimed in every death note and we didn't kill him until LyLo. I'm getting an elim vibe from Roadwalker, but I read Roadwalker wrong more often than not, so I'll hold off on voting him.
  17. This is what I thought when I first read the chapter too. Could also be partially a result of his self image changing after his marriage to Navani.Should have read the whole post lol
