  1. I love the assassin in white, i feel like it is the one that is the most true to the chapter it was based off of
  2. My question is if the aether in question is from the Liar book or if its from Aether of Night
  3. I think I was closest to crying (i actually put the book away for a second) was when Renarin says that they lost Dalinar, and that he would finally lose his battle with the thrill. That crushed me. But then i was fine a few pages later
  4. I interpreted the Edgedancer's problems as being related to their oaths, as they would be the ones who had to care for all of the non-radiant inhabitants of Urithiru.
  5. My best guess is Autonomy, Silverlight, Sazed as the writers of the letters.
  6. I think that Windrunners could definitely cause wacky weather, but no highstorms because those have to have excess stormlight flying around in them.
  7. I wonder if Mraize will keep using knowledge of Heleran as leverage now that Jasnah is back
  8. I want to see Tezim get a vision
  9. How is she going to spy on them, they give her no information as it is and she doesn't know how to reliably find a single member.
  10. At the end of these chapters, we get Jasnah's entrance to Urithiru with a group of unknown people. What are the ghostbloods going to do, especially because they were the ones that tried to assassinate her. Mraize, Shallans overseer, was one of the people who wanted her dead, and so I am looking forward to that triangle unfolding. What are your predictions for this plotline?
  11. So during the fight with Re-Shepnir, Shallan notes that it is trying to learn as much as possible. We first see it or a part of it studying Shallan while she puts on a play, even though we later learn that it is scared of her, and it even lets the bridgmen stay alive so it can figure out how to fight with a spear instead of killing them when it could. So what is it doing studying murders committed in anger? We see Re-Shepnir studying all sorts of activities, but it only mimics the murders. Most people were disappointed with the perceived weakness of an unmade, but I see a lot of potential for it later on, as it continues to learn and adapt all of the killings it sees. Thoughts?
  12. Yes, but you should still get the interference
  13. You still run into the problem of stamping an invested object, WOB says there is relatively little investiture going on in soulstamps so it would probably still fail.
  14. Oh well it was a good shot
  15. On Malata, I think that she was previously a darkeyes and only recently became a lighteyes with her summoning of a blade. The gloves and the way she seems calm and in control reminds me of Veil.
  16. Is it possible that Tezim is Taln? Brandon has been dodging identifying the man called Taln for a while, and it definitely appears that his mind is elsewhere. I think the main tip off is the title of "bearer of the oathpact" which would seem odd for Ishar, who abandoned the oathpact. The other male heralds also have the problem of having abandoned the oathpact; Taln is the only one who could fill this title.
  17. Anyone missing Rysn?
  18. So we know that when Odium Shattered Honor, a lot of the extra investiture went into the spren, being a pre established pathway for honors investiture. This extra investiture resulted in more spren all over roshar. Now what happened to the Aons when Dominion and Devotion were shattered? I know the seons and the skaze most likely provided some release, but would active Aons receive a massive burst of power?
  19. Distractionspren: they only appear when someone is no longer paying attention
  20. Did anyone else catch onto Renarin discovering that horses are not native to Roshar? While he doesn't explicitly state it, he notes that they are not fit to survive on roshar on their own.
  21. One of Dalinar's visions showed voidbringers attacking farms, so there is historical precedent for this strategy being used.
  22. I would say that on the amount of investiture involved, yes, however I think that for most people an honorblade would be more useful as the vast majority of cosmere characters would be unable to fuel nightblood.
  23. I think your first problem is classifying the blades as Godmetal, while we know from the books they are the physical form of spren. While they are invested and metalish they are not the direct essence of Tanavast.
