  1. Thanks! I’m glad you like it! It was a lot of fun to draw. It actually did shatter once. (Do not put temperatures and pressure sensitive glass in a box.) The fluid immediately evaporated, and we had to send what little remained to a lab to figure out what it was. Remaking it wasn’t easy, especially since my dad didn’t want my grandfather to know. That’s how we know the substance inside is used for explosives, lol! Or some components of it, anyway.
  2. Nope. This person has been an unwitting antagonist. This person has a title.
  3. Mistborn Monday art: Study Buddies! Khriss and Kelsier study hemalurgy together. Thanks to @LewsTherinTelescope who reminded me of this old headcannon which inspired me to draw it. I headcannon these two as occasional research partners - which has led to the amusing result of some unaware Silverlight Students thinking Kelsier is a reclusive scholar (as Khriss ensures he is given due credit on their papers). The students are always shocked to learn what he’s really up to... Incidentally, the book with the ‘Woman’s Script’* is Rhythm of War - the in-world one. Yes, Kelsier has a copy. The books with dots are written in the Artisan’s Script. And yes, that is a book about Nightblood. Yes, you should be concerned about Kelsier having access to that information. The science experiment with two balls connected by a tube is real, btw. My grandfather made it years ago, so this is a little tribute to him. That thing was our family’s go-to science fair submission for years. Don’t try making it home though! The glass is pressure sensitive and the stuff inside is very questionably legal (and possibly explosive?) (*Neither the Woman’s Script nor the Steel Alphabet nor the Aonic uses actual letters from the scripts. This is because I want to sell this print which I can’t do if I used real letters. So what you see is an impression of the letters, but not real letters.)
  4. Nope. Here’s something I did last night: Study buddies!
  5. The full text is not in the epigraphs, only select portions.
  6. Nope! BTW, if you were the one who just gave me 20 rep, thanks! I appreciate it!
  7. So basically: Kelsier is currently free to wreck havoc while keeping all the worldhoppers under his thumb. He’s thrilled. And plans to take full advantage. And he just drew the seven of Spears... (It’s up on the fanart page.) This person has been an unwitting antagonist.
  8. I’m pretty sure we’ve gone through nearly every female Mistborn character at this point... Tensin? Or whatever Wax’s sister’s name was? BTW, if you have a specific plot you want for the RP, I can try and have Kell push us in the desired direction.
  9. Mistborn Tarot: Seven of Spears The Seven of Spears features the Survivor sneaking away from Kredik Shaw, carrying five Spears. Two more remain behind him. The card number, 7, is in the upper left corner. This card represents Deception, Getting Away with Something, and Keeping Secrets. Interestingly, the Survivor’s place on this card predates his time in the Pits. Famed for his daring thievery, many Luthadel Skaa began using Lord Kelsier on this card. This practice became even more common after his capture. It is generally assumed that this was the first tarot card to be associated with the Survivor. Notably, the Church of the Survivor has been known to express displeasure over the Survivor’s presence on the “Thief’s Card.” In general, the Church seems intent on downplaying the less noble attributes of their nominal founder. This is not true of the Southern peoples, who take great pride in their Sovereign’s deceptive nature.
  10. This. Just this. He is so reckless. But he’s also a planner. I think he’s at his most dangerous when his planning and his recklessness coincide.
  11. Yes, and liked not a one. Unless we’re counting French Macarons. TPBM has had French Macarons.
  12. Yes! TPBM is going to cook for Pesach.
  13. @Bejardin1250 is correct: I will not have time to do the roast while preparing for Pesach.
  14. No, but I did spend several hours getting my car detailed (cleaned) and quite a bit of time ensuring my kids did not bring chametz to the basement. TPBM is turning over their house today or tomorrow. (I’m doing it Tuesday night.)
  15. ... The person below you is female. Answer the question? TPBM thinks this is absolutely ridiculous - but so funny! (And wants to know who is actually foolish enough to buy it...)
  16. We are never given the full prophecy. This is intentional. Brandon does not plan to give it to us at present. One thing I noticed on reread: Kwaan mentions Alendi having gray hair and that this could fulfill a prophecy line. We are never told or shown that line, which I find quite interesting. It’s an epigraph line too, so it was in the original inscription. I’m of the opinion that lines that are not Ruin’s alterations and don’t fully fit Saze are actually foreshadowing for Eras 3&4.
  17. Thanks! I’m going to edit this one so I can sell it. Tindwyl.
  18. “I’m watching the road,” Roues said dryly, “not the backseat.” ”Hammar Way,” Priére clarified. Roues nodded, turning down the narrow street.
  19. “In which direction?” Roues asked dryly. “Left, right, down that alley?” @Trutharchivist
