    I like them some. Depends on the dog. I love huskies and malamutes, but I wouldn’t own one. TPBM thinks malamutes look a bit like small bears in winter.

    The dirigible flew into the air, rising higher and higher. Eventually Roues eased off on the engines, allowing the vessel to maintain an even height. He skillfully directed the ship, careful to compensate for the winds as he headed out over the ocean.

    Kelsier laughed, then nodded to Roues. “I think we’re far enough now. Take us up.” Roues smiled, manipulated a few switches on his dashboard. “You’ll want to strap in,” he warned as the pontoons lifted and the second set of fans engaged. “And make sure you’re storing as much weight as possible.”

    Roues maneuvered the ship easily through the canals, the allomantic motor giving them the necessary thrust. It wasn’t long before they reached the shimmering waters of the sea. Roues carefully raised their speed, sending the ship speeding across the bay. Kelsier leaned against the rear porthole, watching Elendel recede. Soon they’d be far enough to fly.

    Once everyone was on board Roues set off. A hidden lock moved them into the canals and from there he made his way toward the sea. ”You can walk through fire,” Kelsier answered. “In many ways storing is more useful than tapping. I’ve used it to walk through a live volcano.”
